DO NOT GO HERE! Don't waste your money!…read more Well I would like to begin with if I could give no starts that's what I would give. I went there to get a trim and nails done. So I have to admit I was 15 minutes late for my appointment which is understandable but they could've just rebooked me if it was gonna be such a big deal and after I got my nails done I got trim and a little bit of bangs. Well I called back because one of my nails had already broken off and I explained to them that I didn't feel comfortable seeing the same girl but the receptionist jake kept pushing and pushing and making me feel more uncomfortable until the point where I wanted to speak with a manager. The manager I spoke with was very nice and assured me if I came back to get my nail fixed everything would be ok and no judgment. But boy was she wrong. The lady that did my nails was so rude I waved to her and said hi and she just looked at me and walked in the place. And not to mention so rough because I explained to the manager the reason it took 2 1/2 hours to do my nails was because she didn't use the drill and just used a nail file. Well I can see why she didn't use a drill because she chopped my fingers up trying to fix her job she did the first time. And than she started to shame me because when I waved to her I was having a smoke and said well you can't have your nails white because you smoke and they will turn yellow right away. Just an all together horrible experience there. And the guy who cut my hair I felt like he was judging me because I had just had my nails done and my makeup was done and he said "oh where are you going to a big party?" And I asked for a trim to try and get all my ends not looking so fried. And not a straight across cut and as I was explaining to him he just brushed me off like ya ya I know what you are talking about. But clearly he didn't and not to mention my bangs he fucked them up doesn't even look like bangs. I will never be going back here and will advise everybody I know not to go to this place just because of the disrespect that I was given by the employees there and not to mention after I went back and got the nail fixed the exact same one broke in the exact same spot horrible. Oh ya and she didn't take the extra gel that was under my nails as well

I bought a 1-year package (11 sessions) after being told I could share it with a friend. In practice, this meant that if my friend used a session, the invoice went under their name, they could claim it through their insurance, and the reimbursement went straight to them -- something I personally did not realize would happen, and that made the "sharing" benefit useless for me. One time, I congratulated my therapist on a promotion, only to be told at the front desk after my massage that I owed an extra fee. The reason? The therapist had been promoted that day -- even though my booking was made well before that. From my experience, the membership policies here are unclear and can easily lead to unexpected costs. When I asked how many sessions I had left, I received no answer before my appointment. After my massage, I was told three of my remaining sessions were "on hold" because my membership term had ended, and that I could only use them if I bought another membership. I never received any reminder about my membership expiring. My advice: if you decide to come here for the massage itself, be very clear on all the fine print first. In my case, the lack of transparency turned what could have been a positive experience into an expensive and frustrating one.

They made me feel uncomfortable with their pushy scripted sales tactics and convinced me to sign up for a 3 MONTH, membership to "save money" on my massage. I asked explicitly for clarification and that I would only be interested in signing for 3 months to see if it worked for me. Well BE CAREFUL, and read the damn contract (my fault) but still think it should be communicated be the SELLER. It rolls to a month to month and you will continue to be charged until you EMAIL the company... and then they will initiate a cancellation IN 30 DAYS FROM THEN! (So yes, another months charge!) Completely crooked. I would have continued to go there, I would have recommended them but instead I am wasting my time writing a online review to WARN others. Fine, go for the massage, but don't sign up. Or better yet, support a smaller business that doesn't try hard sales and swindle people out of money

One woman spent a truly bizarre amount of my session rubbing my ribs and my left kneecap - I am not kidding, it was just beyond strange. Bright sides: the space is nice. I've now been two or three times under the new ownership. Sadly, the previous staff is gone -- who can blame them given the rocky transition. I had one or two favourite therapists and I miss them. The staff size has also been reduced so there is way less availability during the day. The massage therapist I've been seeing is good, but overall I feel the facility is losing ground. The place used to be immaculate and really felt like a spa like experience. I was in there last week, and spa shoes were dirty (they aren't cleaning them between clients - something I've noticed during previous visits), the floor has traces of salt and snow on it whereas it used to always be pristine, the decor is not as sleek as before -- there's a white leather couch that looks kind of tacky and holiday decorations that look the same. I always loved that they sent you away with a cup of hot tea. The tea is still there. I wasn't offered one during my last visit, but the time before was offered one -- so overall it's an inconsistent practice and I feel too silly to ask when not offered. I probably won't be returning once I use up my massage series, unless these new folks up their game soon.
