Not long after the injections, my face reacted very badly. The swelling was extreme and it didn't feel like a normal reaction. It was scary. I was stressed and genuinely worried about what had been injected into me. When I reached out for answers and support, I did not receive clear explanations. Now they are not replying to my messages at all. Being ignored after something like this makes the situation even worse. Cosmetic procedures require honesty and transparency. You are literally trusting someone with your face and your health. I walked in feeling confident and left feeling unsafe and completely let down. Her honesty and caution were the biggest reasons I went with Skinpossible, after consulting with 3 other skin care salons whose promises seemed over the top. . However, after having received 4 out of 5 treatments, I have to say that it has been a total waste of $2000. There was a very slight improvement after the first treatment but absolutely nothing noticeable after the subsequent three. The fact that my skin is over 60 is certainly a significant factor, but I have serious doubts that even a younger person would have had good results with this treatment. If your budget doesn't matter to you, go ahead. But best to head into something like this realistically.

I had a referral to their GP for a toenail fungus issue. They assured me that it would be appropriate for their doctor to treat my father. In the end, they said it was more of a podiatry issue AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A REFERRAL! They have many elderly patients for whom they waste time like they wasted my father's time and considerable effort to see the doc in person. They want AHS money and they drag people in just for the fees and don't provide any meaningful service.

I think she could tell I was nervous and she instantly put me at ease. I ended up getting botox in my forehead (to prevent further frown lines) and some filler in my "crow's feet" around my eyes. I am TERRIFIED of needles, but Dr. McWhirter was very gentle and I only felt a mild discomfort. I was afraid he would tell me I looked terrible and try to "upsell" me procedures that I didn't need. Not the case at all. It's been three months and I am very pleased with the results. People tell me I look great and want to know my secret. I feel like my face has had 5 years taken off of it.
