if I could give zero stars to this place I would. I have no idea how they're still in business given that the last 3 times I've been there, there is no more than 2 ppl getting their nails done. I have never experienced such rude customer service. Never have i ever seen someone MAN HANDLE a child let alone my own!!!!! Who taught Vietnamese women that it's ok to touch other people's children? My son was perfecLy behaved sitting On a chair and then some nail tech named LYNN came and took him off and sat him on a tiny ROLLING CHAIR that it's way more unsafe. They kept talking about him in Vietnamese (I know this because I set my translator had mic on) ALSO THE WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS I HAD MY APPT AT 10:30 then they didn't start my pedi until 11:20 We go to places like this to relax and pamper ourselves a bit. If you'd like to pay 70$ for a full set of nails that turn out horribly AND break after 6 days this is your spot! On top of the extremely subpar product you also can look forward to delayed service (there are personal phone calls to answer while you're working people!), any request you have being ignored (i.e: shape/style), and overall a HUGE waste of almost one hundred dollars, you MUST go here. I have gotten my nails done at countless places, always in the same pointed/sharp style. I have had nails on for months straight without an issue with this shape in regards to breakage. I say this because after 6 days... yes, SIX DAYS... not even one whole week: one of my nails broke. Then after 8 days another broke. Today TWO MORE nails broke. So, 4/10 nails have broken. I work in an office doing EXTREMELY light work with my hands. And again, I've consistently gotten this nail shape for the last few years. And somehow Oasis managed to completely fail to execute this while robbing me of 70$. When I went back to get the first nail fixed the woman was examining all my nails on both hands as if I had done something wrong. Lady, you're the one who put these nails on me 6 days ago and it's somehow so flimsy it's broken. On top of this fiasco the nails looked bad in the first place. My middle fingers were not even close to the same length, one was very short while the other one was very long. A lot of the nails looked more like almonds instead of a sharp pointed look that I asked for before even sitting down. One of my thumbnails, which is now broken, was completely warped on one side and looked bent, though she didn't seem to care. When I went back to fix the first broken nail, after one week, it took 35 minutes. 35 minutes on a not busy night to fix ONE nail. I'm sure you can imagine I will never be returning. I highly recommmend avoiding this place at all costs and having your 5 year old do your nails instead, theyll probably make it longer than 8 days. read more

Only reason it has one star is because one of the guys who did my toes did amazing other than that if you want acrylics DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT COME HERE!!! I wanted a cute trendy set that I've seen going around so I decided to come here well, they did my toes like I said amazing! But when it came around to doing my acrylics.. the man who did them he had glasses seemed very cocky or didn't want to be there he started doing my nails and asked if I wanted coffin nails I said yes, HE SHAPED THEM SQUARE! Not even coffin style ! So I just kept cool hoping that by the end of it he would shape them a bit better making them look coffin. He started laying on the acrylic powder of course you have to trust the process but I noticed that there was a spot on my thumb that had a lot more acrylic powder then the rest of my thumb. I pointed it out and told him that and he said I don't want it too thin where it will break but the rest of my nails were pretty thin. So I just brushed it off.. he starts shaping and buffing and moves on to doing the design. Granted the design I picked was pretty difficult but I had faith that he could do it so he started doing and messed up made the lines super thick. Long story short. Waiting a very long time. There was hardly anyone there but I still waiting over an hour. I just wish someone would have communicated with me about the wait instead of acting like it would be a few minutes. When she finally started on me, she was very rushed and was rough on my feet. I have been here twice. First time my usual place couldn't take me and I needed two nails replaced so it was an emergency. They took all of the old material out, I chose a color and the lady refused to put tips inn. She argued with me back and foward that it wouldn't look bad becuase I was just missing 2 nails. Finally she cave inn and I can't complain they looked pretty good. It was just the argument part and not giving me what I wanted from the beginning that made me upset. Second time went to get my material removed. It was super early and there was only one employee, he had a very bad aspect and bad odor but again it was kind of an emergency. My nails were super long and he asked if I wanted to cut them, so I replied with just a little. As he cut the first one I jumped and he said just relax, I couldn't he had cut my entire nail off to the root. When I told him, he cut the other one and said ah it's ok they will grow back in 2 or 3 days and kept on cutting. I have never had my nails this short or been so upset. read more

I had the best nail experience that I've ever had in Midland at Oasis. I've been to gala, langs, h20, the mall salons, etc. and this is the cleanest salon I have ever come across. I was greeted and throughout the whole experience I never felt rushed. My three year old daughter was with me and they made her feel like an absolute princess. Other salons have treated her like a nuisance in the past, so I really appreciate when people go that extra mile. While chatting with them, I was told that they were under new management. I highly encourage anyone who has been here before and did not enjoy it, to give this place another chance because I am extremely picky and i believe the service will impress you. Went tonight to get a Pedicure, Shellac Manicure and my eyebrows waxed from Oasis Spa & Nails in Midland. I got there about 5pm and was meeting a friend. They said the wait wouldn't be long at all and to go ahead and sit in the pedicure chair. They turned the water on and had me wait in the chair. My friend arrived about ten minutes later. Waited and waited and waited and waited... no service. Other people came in and had their pedicures during this time and they did not have appointments either. Finally after asking how much longer it was going to be a gentleman came over at 5:45 to start my friends toes. I asked if my water could be refreshed because at this point I sat there for 45 minutes in cold water. 6 o'clock, one hour later and with really pruned feet, my girl finally came over. I chose the classic basic pedicure that is supposed to last 25 minutes. It was only 15 minutes and the polish honestly looks like I did it (and I cannot paint my own toe nails). When we checked out, they over charged me and I had to ask for a refund. I did not get my manicure or my eyebrows done because at this point, I was way too frustrated and not trusting their expertise. Not only was this place unprofessional but the customer service was rude and the job done was not even worth the $25 I did pay. Here is hoping the refund actually goes into my account. read more

Just took my daughters there and it was terrible. The staff was rude and did not try to engage with us at all. The color choices were poor and they put a thinner in our polish. There was an up charge for everything. They did not clean up the polish around our toes. They didn't massage our legs or feel. I got shellac on my hands and a pedicure. The shellac began to peel off after a week and was done horribly in the first place. The friend I went with got a fungus on her toes from getting a pedicure that she had to treat with an antibiotic. This place is terrible. I DO NOT recommend going here. read more

Today was the worse experience I have ever had!! The employees are miserably unhappy and they show it the entire time you are there. The guy that did my pedicure was clipping the cuticle around my right pinkie toe and ripped it away from my toe and it started bleeding instantly.... He started talking in Chinese to the worker next to me and obviously said he needed some blood stop to put on it because she handed him the bottle and he got a piece of cotton to put on the cut. It hurt! He didn't even think of apologizing or even an 'oops!'.....The female coworker he was chatting to looked up at me to see my reaction and she started laughing! I said what is this revenge? He just chuckled and she was laughing and nodding her head saying "yes". I am very disappointed in this place the tension was so thick in the air and one of the workers was talking back to the lady that runs the place she was very disgusted with it as well. I would not recommend this experience to anyone else I would not refer anyone to oasis Day spa and I will never consider returning there again. I do not even want to give this place a one star rating it should not even have any stars next to it, but I am sharing my opinion of this business to everyone that will take time to read it. and the pedicures are not good quality at all. It is not worth your time or money.
