Die Speisenkarte wird täglich frisch erstellt und bietet, Fleisch von Rind Schwein und Kalb, Geflügel , Fisch und jeden Tag auch ein frisches vegetarisches Essen. Für Personengruppen ab 6 Teilnehmer sollte reserviert werden, da nur wenige Plazierungsmöglichkeiten bestehen. Die Gaststube ist im Originalzustand wie sie 1939 gebaut wurde. Das Haus selbst hat bereits eine über tausendjährige Geschichte. Sie können immer die jahreszeitlich passenden Speisen vorfinden. Das bedeutet im Frühling Spargel , ab Mai Wild, im Herbst Gänse und Wild. Die Menü sind sehr günstig gehalten. Werktags zwei Gänge zu 8 euro und 9 Euro. Das Menü mit 8 Euro hat zur Hauptspeise immer ein Wienreschnitzel vom Schwein. Am wochenende gibt es ein Feinschmeckermenü zu ca 16 bis 20 Euro. Je nachden was als Hauptspeise drauf kommt.

The room was cozy, clean and the perfect size. Bernhard, the owner, was very nice helpful. They have a wine cellar on the property at which we did some wine tasting. Bernhard made us eggs in the morning plus we had other things in buffet style available for breakfast: deli meses, müesli and yoghurt, breads and jellies (home mad by his mother) coffee, juice. I would highly recommend this place for your stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Could have done with a bit more seasoning or some herbs. The Bratkartoffle I had with the fish was also ok. Coffee is not bad here and the service is a bit slow but ok. I would come back here again as there are not many places on the Island to eat at but, will try the others first before coming back here again ;-)
