The office is not only clean and state-of-the art but the staff both upfront and in the back are kind and always willing to answer questions. I had never been to this practice before and they were able to schedule me same day with a NP Cheryl Marks. I have had three pregnancies and had a different OBGYN each time. This NP took her time, was incredibly sensitive to how I was feeling and explained everything until I completely understood. In my experiences with doctors of this kind, this practice exceeded my expectations. I did wait a little longer then expected, but was patient considering I had been squeezed in. read more

My experience at the OBGYN Center has been fantastic. This is my first pregnancy and I was referred to Dr Randi McVay. Dr. McVay is very easy to talk to, open to all your questions and very knowledgable. I feel completely comfortable asking her my "stupid" questions that come along with being a first time mom. I like how they are based both at Ridge Gate hospital but also Parker Adventist (which is closer to my home). The staff has been very nice and although there was one time I had to wait a little longer than I should have they over all take good care of me when I come in. read more

I was referred to Dr. Voss during my first pregnancy after an absolute horror story of an experience with another doctor. I must say that Dr. Voss is the best doctor I've ever had for several reasons: she speaks plainly and explains everything to you not expecting you to have a medical degree, she takes her time with you and never makes you feel rushed (you may wait a little while in the waiting area but just know that she is going to give you the same level of care and treatment when you are with her), she doesn't ignore the husband and will actually listen to them as well as you and shows them care during delivery also, you can tell a lot about a doctor from the way the nurses in the hospital talk about them...I couldn't hear enough positive about her from the nurses and they seemed to genuinely like her, every decision was around my best interest and not her schedule, her care doesn't stop at delivery...I experienced severe postpartum and she supported my husband and I through it every step of the way. Sadly, we had to move out of state but when we found out we were pregnant with our second we heavily considered options as to how we could get back to CO for Voss to be our doctor. I recognize the reviews concerning the front desk and wait time, however, for the best doctor and best care I would wait all day for Voss. read more

I saw Dr. McVay at The OB/GYN Center two different times. First I saw her for my annual exam. At that time I expressed concern that I was not getting pregnant. I was told to just have sex every other day when I suspected I was ovulating and not to worry about it. I then saw the doctor again two months later to express more concern that I was not pregnant, especially since I was 36 years old and more than seven months had passed. She examined me again and drew some blood to check my thyroid levels (which were fine). I was again told to just keep trying to get pregnant. Now a year later - especially after going to an infertility clinic - my concerns about infertility should have been addressed much more seriously, particularly because of my age and the amount of time trying that had passed. I also have since learned - by experience - there were many simple tests that the doctor could have ordered to help me along my journey sooner. IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO GET PREGNANT, The OB/GYN Center is NOT helpful. Please don't waste your time there. The OB/GYN Center has two locations: Lone Tree and Parker. I saw this doctor at the Parker location (although she's available in Lone Tree too). You should also know that Dr. McVay was extremely nice. I didn't wait long for my appointments, her nurse was great, and I got my test results back quickly by phone from Dr. McVay. I just wasn't taken seriously when trying to get pregnant. read more

I was new to the area (Parker, CO) and needed a new OB/GYN. My first (and only) visit was scheduled a week in advance (June 2013). When I arrived, I was the only person in the waiting room and in the office. Apparently everyone takes a lunch at the same time and takes their sweet time coming back to lunch (and yet they still schedule appointments right at 1:00P). No one was at the reception desk (I signed in anyway). 15 minutes after my appointment was to start the staff finally showed up. I was finally checked in and brought back 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Steven Grover is exceptional. I wish he didn't belong to this practice. He decided I needed medication to maintain a great quality of life and he was spot-on with his choice of medication because I have been pain-free for a year! Again, Dr. Grover you are incredible!! Fast-forward to a few months ago; I get a letter from their billing department stating I owe out-of-pocket for the visit because they no longer accept my insurance (even though my insurance is still posted on their website that they accept) and will not see me again until I pay my balance? However, last year (June 2013) I paid my co-pay and they accepted my insurance (insurance provided statement they paid the bill). When I call their Billing number I always have to leave a message and no one ever returns my many calls. Fast-forward to today; I have been calling their office all week because my prescription refill was denied. I have left messages with their main line (because they never pick up their phone regardless of the day or time of day). I also have left messages with Dr. Grover's nurse. No one will return my calls. Instead, this morning they asked my pharmacy to call me to tell me that I have to make an appointment and/or come in to their office to discuss before they will authorize any more refills (even though there are still 8 refills remaining on the prescription). This is way too much hassle and since I cannot get anyone in that office to pick-up a phone and talk to me (let alone schedule an appointment), I will have to find another OB/GYN :( Again, Dr. Grover is incredible! It is their office and nursing staff that is so terrible at communication and assisting patients. What a bummer! read more

Show up to your appointment on time and they will tell you that you have to reschedule your appointment (Sky Ridge location). I attempted to arrive early, however between unanticipated traffic issue and the fact that I had to park my car about a half mile away I was unable to arrive 15 min early as they wanted, but I was ON TIME for my scheduled appointment.. I am not a new patient and the paperwork would have not taken long to complete. read more

I am in the process of finding an new OB and decided to give these folks a try since they are so highly reviewed on other sites. I was delayed and arrived to my appointment 2 minutes late. My appointment was at 8am and I arrived at 8:02. The staff at the front desk was incredibly rude and informed me that because I was late, they could not see me until 9:00. So I waited around for some reason to be taken back. When I went back, the MA asked me a bunch of health questions, left the room and then proceeded to talk to the NP about me right outside the door. Without even having met me yet, the NP was trash talking me. (You can hear every word with the door closed.) When the NP finally decided to grace me with her presence, she was very condescending to me several times. NO WAY will I use this practice or recommend them to anyone. I will never go back. Plus, I don't like that this practice has so many docs. Who will deliver my baby? Your guess is as good as mine because I have a 1 in 8 shot of guessing correctly. Stay away. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! We had switched to Dr. Voss at this practice because she came highly rated. We were shocked to find out that the reviews online were completely false and must have been from someone getting paid to write a good review or from someone at their office. I have never been treated so poorly by any doctors office in my life. We had a total of 5 appointments with this practice and actually was able to see the doctor only 2 times. The first time we had gone in for an appointment, we showed up 15 minutes early to find out that the doctor had been called in for any emergency C-Section and was not available. We had asked why we didn't get a call to let us know so we can reschedule, but the people at the front desk answered that they figured we can wait until the doctor got back. They said she should be back in about 2 hours. I am on bedrest because I showed signs of pre-term labor. How is it ok to have to sit and wait for 2 hours for the doctor? Unacceptable. We then asked that we get a phone call if the doctor will be out for a delivery or C-Section for the next time. They said that wasn't a problem. We rescheduled the appointment for two days later. We went in for our next appointment and when we arrived, once again the doctor was out on a delivery and wouldn't be back for at least an hour. We asked again why didn't you call because we had asked to be called if the doctor would be out. They said that the doctor had literally just left and told them she had to do a delivery. We were not going to wait, but wanted to at least get a quick checkup and check the babies heart rate. They brought us back and literally 5 minutes later the doctor came back in and said she was done. This was 5 minutes after they had just told us she had just left. There is no way she can deliver a baby in 5 minutes when it took that long just to get down to the hospital and scrub up. So they lied directly to our face and didn't even apologize to us for doing so. We got to see the doctor and the doc was actually rude, mean and condescending to us. She said that we can't get upset because we have to wait since it was the nature of the business and it happens all the time. She also said to us that we need to remember that when I go into labor it is going to set her back at least 3 patients and to care about the patients that will sit and wait while my baby is delivered. Absolutely obsurd to even think that I would care about other patients having to wait while I am in labor. We had an appointment the next week. We called this time to make sure the doctor was in and we were told she was. We went in for the appointment showing up 15 minutes early like they always ask. We sat for about an hour until we got up and asked why there were 7 other people that got brought back and were in and out, but we were still sitting there. The rude woman at the front desk went back to find out and a minute later went back to her desk and never mentioned a word to us on what the status was. 10 minutes later a woman came out and introduced herself as the office manager. She then proceeded to tell us that the doctor was very behind and it would be another hour to hour and a half until she could see us. At that point my blood was boiling. We had asked why there were at least 3 out of the 6 or 7 people there to see the same doctor, but they went in right away saw the doctor and came out. Two of these people were there for an appointment 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment, but still got to see the doctor. We were completely ignored and made to wait. On top of all of that I was supposed to be scheduled that visit for an ultrasound and was told that this week was just a regular appointment. I have never been treated so horribly in my life at any place of business. The OB/GYN Center is the worst run business I have ever seen in my life. The office and scheduling staff are the most inconsiderate, rude and horrible people that have no clue how to do their jobs. The doctor quadruple + books appointments at the same time, meaning she will schedule 4+ patients at the same time/day and then not be there for any of their appoinments because she is delivering or performing a C-section. They say its the nature of the business?? The nature of the most poorly run business that wants to line their pockets by trying to take as many patients as humanly possible without providing the proper care to anyone. They expect you to wait when the doctor is not there and try to keep you there so they don't miss out on another appointment to make their money. Even when you do get to see the doctor she spends 5 minutes or less with you by checking the babies heart rate, measuring your belly and then throws you out the door, but not before making sure they set the next appointment with your wallet. Shame on them for stating they provide any care or care in general. Please stay away from this business. Its for your own good. read more

We experienced the birth of our 4th child with the OB/GYN Center and the care during the pregnancy followed suit with our prior care. However, when it came to the delivery, I have never experienced something so difficult in my life. Due to the position of our baby, we found ourselves experiencing a new side of this process. We were totally compliant to all requests made by the physician on call, Dr. Randi McVay, however, her lack of action resulted in our son being born without her help at all. I was informed that he could not be born vaginally and would require a C-section, however, she never proceeded to take action. I was in labor for about 4 hours and she informed us that if he were born vaginally he could suffer severe nerve damage. We agreed to the plan, however, she never took action. He was born without her touching him until he was completely out and on the bed (we have a video to prove this). Following the delivery, she never returned to check on me that night. Our son, thankfully, was born healthy and we are ever grateful for him and the nursing staff at Parker Adventist Hospital was one of a kind! When I requested my records so I could transfer our care, I read her note of the events of that night. She outlined her steps to deliver the baby's head, body, and so on, all completely false. I confronted the office about this, however, they were not willing to discuss her response. It would be my strong recommendation, after experiencing multiple deliveries at other locations, to find an alternative to the OB/Gyn Center. read more
