I feel the other reviews here are not an accurate assesment of this practice. I was Dr. Tyler's patient at Pinnacle Women's Healthcare for the entire pregnancy for my second child. The service and level of attention I received at this medical practice was top notch, and I always felt like a top priority. For me, receiving the best medical care was most important during my pregnancy. Dr. Tyler took the time to answer all of my questions, research any conditions that developed, followed up promptly and monitored my care closely to ensure I did not develop complications during child birth as I had with my first child many years before with another doctor. It was truly a great experience from beginning to end. The staff is friendly and does not drop the ball. I recommend this practice to all of my friends and would never consider going anywhere else. Shame on you, Dr.Jerath. As a doctor, it amazes me that you have such little compassion for your patients. I've never received such horrible treatment at a doctor's office before and without the slightest apology or concern. I'll physically suffer for at least the next 6-8 weeks because you are too much of a coward even to try to have a conversation with me. You absolutely know this and tried to use the power of my appointment to intimidate me. Or maybe you were just behind, as usual, and it was easier for you that I just went away. I've been your patient for five years and have dealt with long appointment times, cancellations, and waiting in the lobby for up to an hour at a time. I've still always been kind and considerate to you and your staff. Making me wait 45 minutes in your lobby to turn me away; all the while, my insurance was completely fine and verified by the time I got to my car. Completely unnecessary! It saddens me to write this, but I must. Let me first begin by saying that Dr. Jerath delivered both my babies successfully, and that is the only reason why I am giving this review 2 stars. However, this past pregnancy (my 2nd one) has not been very nice in her office. I have been harassed with several papers in the mail stating they are going to send me to collections for $9.41! Yes, for that much. However, I don't even owe that. Her office charged me a $40 copay on 10/13 during my 6week post partum visit and I was told by Nathan; the office clerk that it was a copay for the "televisit" that day. I had called my insurance prior to my appt and was told by my insurance BCBS Federal that I DID NOT have any copay for televisit as long as it fell under maternity, which it did. Regardless of this information relayed to Nathan, he still said he had to charge me and so I gave in and paid $40. I asked him to look into it because my visit was covered 100%. He said he would and would get back to me. I called almost weekly, and Nathan had no answers for me, EVER! He always seems so confused when I spoke with him. I was so livid that I had my insurance call him and educate him on the situation, which he confirmed was wrong. He then stated he would escalate it to his billing team, and they would get a hold of me. At this point, I make my appt for my 12 weeks PP but Nathan tells me that I owe money and I would need to pay it in order to be seen. I tell him I do not owe any money as my insurance verified it. I asked what could be done and he says that he would talk to Dr. Jerath first. He then gets back on the phone and says it is better to reschedule until it is resolved, all because I would not pay money that I do not owe in the first place. I called Nathan WEEKLY, for one whole month asking if he had gotten a hold of the office billing team and he always always seemed so confused and would say he was going to let them know. At one point, I am so frustrated with him that he finally includes me in an email to a billing person. However, regardless of my information provided to Nathan by my own insurance (since they called him and spoke to him) this person Callie Duggan tells me that they are not wrong and that I do owe money. Fast forward to January, I call BCBS again and give them all the dates Callie gives me for which BCBS says they billed wrong again and at this point, has suggested that I place a reconsideration reporting them and to investigate why they are billing incorrectly. The point of this review is NOT to slander, but rather open your eyes about this provider and their billing personnel. I am a nurse practitioner and stated that in my communication with Callie, the billing manager. However, after I asked her to correct her billing she stated "Claims cannot be coded a certain way because you or the insurance requests that solely to try and get the visit covered under revised coding. Alteration of claims in this way can be considered a form of insurance fraud. As a nurse practitioner, I'm sure you understand that we can't partake in insurance fraud, even at your request" After being mistreated and disregarded without offering to call my insurance and verify the information I have been relaying for months, I feel obligated to report them to my insurance and to open an investigation. read more

Not the best experience, they are easier to get ahold of than some other big companies but I'd still chose planned parenthood or another place any day. seemed like they were always making things harder and more complicated than it needed to be, customer service is average at best. As others have mentioned as a first time patient this place is AWFUL, HORRIBLE... My wife suffers from severe pain in her legs along with other problems and OWH had been recommended by a co-worker. First, after filling out all the online paperwork (which took well over an hour) their server screwed up and didn't save anything?!?! Well, we tried again a week later and I made printouts of our work the 2nd time just in case. Then OWH said that my wife didn't fill out another form correctly. Ugh. So we finally had an appointment for 11-10-2021. About a week before our appointment OWH called to cancel our appointment. The next available date was going to be in January 2022!!! So my wife waited MONTHS to try to see Dr. Jerath and now my wife must wait another TWO months. Joke. Horrible experience bordering on malpractice. Needless to say based on our own personal experience along with reading how others have been treated we will NOT be going to this facility. I'd rather die than give my time/money to this uncaring and incompetent practice. read more

Been coming here for a few years now seeing Dr. Tyler and now having my first child. They are detailed and always on time for my appointments. The doctor has been late once due to a delivery in over 2 years which is pretty amazing. Happy to answer your questions and the staff is friendly and efficient. Edit : had to drop the stars as towards the end of my pregnancy they were late (over an hour for one) on several occasions. I was also 3 mins late to an appointment as I drive 18 miles from work to get there and they said I would need to rebook. Would have been nice to know on my way there and without the side of attitude from the receptionist. read more

I love Dr. Jerath & her entire office. I've been going to her for close to 5 years now & she's helped me through some tough times in my pregnancies, always with kindness and compassion. She also respects the decisions I make for my own health which is priceless. Sometimes, there is a bit of a wait to see her but it's usually due to an emergency with a patient & having been that patient before, I appreciate that she stayed with me as long as I needed her. I hope I never have to go anywhere else! read more

I started going to this practice about a year ago. I really enjoyed the doctor and she was very thorough; however, I have had issue after issue. I had a procedure in January 2020 and they claimed they submitted to insurance, but after calling insurance, they didn't receive the claim. I don't seem to have this issue with any other provider. I had to argue with the practice to resubmit the claim. I then needed surgery in April 2021. They didn't tell me that I would have to pre-pay for the surgery, but refused to let me see the doctor for my pre-op appointment until I pre-paid. Against my better judgement, I did so. I quickly met my deductible from the hospital bill alone and fought with the practice for 7 months to get my money back. They submitted the wrong codes to the insurance company; they claimed they were appealing charges, but didn't submit the appeal; they claimed they were switching billing companies, but we still had recurring issues. I'm still fighting a charge they claimed wouldn't be covered by insurance, so they had me self-pay, but they never submitted it to insurance, so how do I know if it would have been covered. I had to send email after email and follow up dozens of times to get a response. Beware of this practice. read more

Dr. Jerath is really compassionate and spent a lot of her time speaking with me. Other doctor offices feel rushed and almost rehearsed in their responses. You can see she cares for her patients and women health. The office is very clean and the front desk was super kind. read more

Reading through reviews it seems this practice is getting a bad rap, and I'm not convinced it's completely warranted. I can't speak to the issues with office staff (I've never had problems), but I can imagine it has been very frustrustrating for others who have posted. That said... Dr. Tyler is amazing!! She is warm, intelligent, hard-working, and overall just a great gynecologist. I have never had such a good experience for a well woman exam. I know that many (most, really) medical practices are faced with overwhelming numbers of patients and paperwork, and please keep in mind that the medical providers are humans too and can only do so many things at one time. I, for one, think Dr. Tyler is an extraordinary provider and will continue coming back. read more

I had my first child with Dr. Tyler and I had a lovely experience from start to finish. She always spent more than enough time with me to make sure all my questions were answered. When it came to the delivery time and we had to induce early she put me at easy and helped get me and my family through a very scary and difficult time. Not many providers are as caring and as exceptional as her and she is the best you can get. Yes there where some days that I had to wait a bit but I always kept in mind that they are a busy office dealing with deliveries and women that maybe having a more serious problem than I am and delivering babies for goodness sake. Just play candy crush until the nurse comes back and you'll be fine. read more

I had a terrible experience. I saw Dr. Jerath. I was in the office twice and waited 2 hours on both occasions to see the doctor. I had an ultra sound done and then had to pay an additional $30 for the doctor to give me the results. She literally read the results as I was sitting in front of her which took about 3 minutes. As long as I paid the $30, I figured I'd ask her to explain the results of my blood work that I had done 3 weeks prior. Reluctantly, she skimmed them and gave me very little information and then I was told to actually review them in detail, that would be done on another appointment! They told me that each thing I was doing would have to be an additional appointment or insurance wouldn't pay for it. I just got off the phone with my insurance company and they said that's not the case at all. If my situation were serious, I would not want to be in the care of Optima Women's Healthcare. I'm never going back. In my experience, the only redeeming thing about this office are the receptionists.They are lovely. read more

I had a HORRIBLE experience at this office. I was a first time patient there. The nurse took me back within 10 minutes after arriving. She took my urine sample, and checked my blood presser. Then she took me into the exam room, said the doctor will be in soon. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was in the office for just under 2 hours! Without seeing the Doctor! During that time I asked when the doctor would be in a couple different times. All I got was soon. The receptionist checked on me one time, to let me know the Doc was running behind. I finally got up and left the exam room. I was never seen by the Doc! Five months later I received a bill in the amount of $50.95. When I questioned the bill, they kept putting me off. I then called my insurance company. Insurance paid the bill in June, shortly after my visit!! Now 6 months later I receive a bill in the amount of $15. The office claims it is the CO-pay for the nurse visit! I was told that it is illegal for them to write off the Co-pay!!! BS! I should never have had a co-pay for this visit! I would never, ever, recommend this office!! read more

When I was pregnant with my son in 2005 this office was great but with my second in 2013 things went downhill. More then once I waited in an exam room for over an hour with out any explanation I understand that the doctor need to go deliver babies but just a heads up from a nurse would have gone a long way. They moved floors and didn't notify me so when I finally arrived I was a few minutes late and the front desk staff was unbelievably rude. Ever since they moved locations I've had nothing but issues with the front desk. I loved my doctor but I'm not going to be back it's really not worth the headache!!!! read more

If I could give this doctor's office a 1, I would.. I made the appt 3 weeks ago. filled out ALL of the paperwork - honestly 45 minutes online... One of the papers included a sheet, that said I authorized them to HOLD my credit card and they could charge on it what the ins did not.. I said NO.. Fast forward to today.. I arrive at the office and sign in, they ask for my DL, ins card and CC.. why I ask.. He (Brady) responds with we keep a copy of your CC for charges that the Ins co does not cover.. I respond with NO - don't leave my CC open ended for anyone to charge.. he said he would need to discuss with him mgr.. comes out and says, he is not sure, but we will proceed and then deal with it later as he has to talk to the "higher ups". fine.. 45 minutes later - Victoria calls me back for my appt as she is taking my weight and height and walking to the room, the office mgr calls me over and says that she understands that I don't want to leave my CC - correct.. well if that is the case, then you must leave $500.. FOR WHAT I ask. well she isnt really sure, she is new there,but that is what her boss is saying.. SO.. let me get this straight.. you want $500 on top of my insurance (my co-pay is $50). ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! a normal doctor visit is what at the max $250 WITHOUT INSURANCE? and I would probably go annually.. so I am supposed to PRE PAY for 2 CASH visits out of pocket - if it is my co-pay, I would be PRE-PAYING for 10 years..
