PK made a great effort to examine my body and the mobility of my joints, as well as doing some gentle stretching to evaluate my needs before we began. He listened intently to my requests and asked pertinent questions about my work and lifestyle to try and more fully understand what would be most effective for my body. The massage itself was absolutely phenomenal. PK delivers amazing deep pressure where it is needed/wanted and able to tone it back to accommodate more sensitive areas. He is very intuitive but also checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout. His intensity and pace were perfectly aligned and he was able to really focus and work through tension in particular areas without any pain. I also have very dry skin, especially in the winter months, and PK used a combination of amazing, aromatic moisturizing oils that he blended, which left my skin feeling incredibly hydrated. I also really appreciated learning more about the Eastern school of thought when it comes to massage therapy and PK's style in particular. You can tell that this is a lifelong passion that he wants to share with the world. They start by having you put your feet in warm water which is very relaxing. You get the reflexology done in a dimly lit room on a small bed next to other beds with clients beside you. They started by massaging my neck, shoulders, arms and hands. They eventually made their way to my feet and calves. They end the massage with hot towels & warm stones. *They accept walks- ins which is nice when you're in the mood for a spontaneous foot massage* Cons: 1.) The towels they use to dry your legs and feet off with are really rough and hurt a bit. 2.) the one time I got a full body massage instead of reflexology was really rushed. It was in a tiny room, the masseuse scratched my back to the point where it bled (it was an elderly lady so maybe she couldn't see?) The massage was terrible. I would only go for reflexology 3.) the reflexology room is shared with many clients so it's very communal. The only downside is some clients are not mindful and not courteous. Yesterday, a man's phone kept going off very loudly. Not to mention he was talking loud and fell asleep and started snoring extra loud. Some people really can't read the room. But the prices are really good! It's a nice treat once in a while. The customer service is always good too.
