I suffered from cervical spasms for alittle over a year now and have exhausted all conventional therapies... massages have always given me better relief than any other therapy. After many Yelp reviews later, I came across blu bliss... I messaged the owner thru Yelp and response was so quick. I have a big exam coming so I let her know I needed to get in before then. she accommodated me the best she could in such short notice. Finding the spa sign was a little hard and it's easy to miss but I reached out and they told me exactly where to go! Irica, did an absolute fantastic job with my back. During the whole house session, I couldn't stop thinking about when I can come back for more! Initially; I wanted to book a couples massage but they get booked up so fast, but I am so glad I came alone. I booked a couples massage as soon as I was done. The best hands in the game. She made me feel so good during and after that I really did not want to get off the table! She addressed every part multiple times and used hot towels and aromatherapy as well, it's an additional 7$ but it was worth it! I highly recommend and I think I found my new go to spa. My first visit to Blu Bliss was so incredibly enjoyable. All the staff I encountered were incredibly friendly and polite. The spa is impeccably clean, from the front lobby to the massage rooms. The aesthetic is absolutely lovely. My masseuse Rose was very nice, and she did an excellent job in listening to me about and working out my problem areas. I'd made that particular weekend all about me and pampered myself the whole weekend. I'd called the day before my appointment hoping to book an appointment that day but unfortunately they were booked for the day. Luckily however, I was able to get an appointment for the next day and it actually worked out better. The check in process was smooth. I felt very VIP ish because they had lockers, plush robes and slippers for me to wear. The masseuse and the pressure she used was fantastic. She also massaged my head and I was in heaven. Birthday bliss day! Facial and a couples massage. Didn't have the facial myself but had the pleasure of being a part of a wonderful massage session. I had some issues online so I called and the owner was so accommodating and quickly rectified the issue. The place is located in a busy plaza in Pembroke Pines. On entering you're greeted by a pleasant but very subtle aromas consistent with most spa's. Staff were pleasant and we were offered a bottle of water. We went in disrobed and hopped into our separate beds. The separate rooms opened to each other by way of a sliding door so we could see each other. Our therapists both did a great job. The pressure was perfect and the oils used were absorbed well by my skin. A Few improvements could be made in terms of a better spa experience but since we are coming out of a pandemic it maybe be only time that allows this place to return to other conveniences. If you are not having any services you would have to wait for your party in the front and if there is a time gap between your services it seems that you may have to leave and not sit robed in a specific area. Blu bliss DID IT AGAIN. I had not been there in over a year, came back in town and book my self a massage due to not being able to lift anything at the gym as I felt a knot on my left arm that regular stretching was not getting rid of. Went in, and my God . . . I had to buckle up as Irica went deep and find that knot and applied the right amount of pressure. For 2 weeks I couldn't do my regular exercises at the gym. Left Blu Bliss after my massage feeling brand new, next day ease my self into my exercise routine, and felt like nothing was ever wrong with me. knot was gone and feeling fine. Thanks once again. Double check your receipts! Every time I go here, they charge the wrong card. I ask for the card on file to be removed, and again they charge the wrong card. I'll pay a tip in advance, but somehow they have no record of it so I spend time scouring through receipts, emails, texts to find it and show that in fact, it's been paid. The receptionist may or may not pick up. And when she does, no matter the time of day, it sounds like she's just waken up from a nap. They tell you they will email you receipts but you won't get them. The last time, I made her stay on the phone with me and screenshot and send me the receipt via her cell phone as I was NOT receiving the emails she kept saying she was sending. This time was no different - they double charged us for the tip. I've called and texted - to see if I can get a refund on the double charge - and I'm waiting for a call back. It's just not worth it. I will be finding somewhere else to go to... and despite the 5 star reviews, I encourage you to keep your eyes on how they charge and bill you. Keep your receipts!! read more

Every time I patronize a Black-owned business and get great service, my heart sings! Today, I want to give a round of applause to Irica Dore of Blu Bliss Massage and Spa. My mom is suffering from chronic arthritis and sciatica pain that forces her to walk with a cane. This is a relatively new development that seems to be exacerbated by extremely cold weather. So, with mom visiting me for the winter months, I decided to check out Blu Bliss to see if they were able to assist. Their Yelp reviews were very good but I was skeptical if one session would make much of an impact. We were greeted at the door by Jules who assured me that my mom would be in good hands. She was courteous and made sure I was aware she had read the notes we provided on my mom's intake form. I love it when businesses show you they've done their homework and are prepared to address your pain points. My mom disappeared into the hallway and re-emerged 90 minutes later with a pep in her step. I was flabbergasted! Was this even the same woman?!! Jules said she worked on the tension in my mom's neck (an area she was also complaining about) and also did some work on her hips and legs. Whatever she did worked miraculously because my mom acted like the cane was no longer hers, lol. I'm still in disbelief that a 90-minute massage session could have made such a HUGE difference! I want to thank Jules for doing a fabulous job with my mom and working on her for a full 90 minutes, even though we were 10 minutes late. The sheets of the massage bed were super soft too and warm. I was laying there trying to figure out which thread count they were loool I think I was the only customer there so it was nice and quiet. I got to select which aromatherapy oil I wanted. I chose the cedarwood. It was so nice and pleasant. Although I did love the massage, a few things could have been better. Her shoes made lots of noise when she was moving around. I think if a small carpet underneath the massage bed could be placed there it would definitely help with that. The facility is very nice, very peaceful and zen. The facial was great. The massage was very good also. The bags to hold your personal items was a nice touch. I was definitely relaxed when I left. I arrived at 9:55AM for my appointment and she was there waiting and greeted me right away. The location is in a strip mall so parking was very easy. I have been traveling a ton lately for work and fun and the hotel beds, airplanes, and driving finally got to me which is why I booked the Pain Away. She used a combination of aromatherapy, deep tissue, hot stone, and cupping during my session. I'm sad that I'm moving out of Miami in a few weeks or I would be a regular! First massage she booked was cancelled over text, no other contact from the spa to reschedule. She called and rescheduled. She showed up for her rescheduled massage and was told she didn't have an appointment. Another appointment was scheduled. Third appointment gets cancelled over text the day before, no other contact from the spa to reschedule. She then calls the spa to get a refund to my card but the person on the phone can't help her. She was so sweet, incredibly professional & thorough every single step of the way. I had the 1 hr "aromatherapy body massage" (lavender of course). Her pressure was strong enough yet never overpowering or too weak. She used multiple techniques throughout my session targeting key areas from head to toes. I also had the "foot fetish" massage with a different person. She was really very sweet but I was not impressed. I guess after having Luna's massage it was a tough act to follow. She showed me to a changing room with lockers for my belongings and hangers for my clothes and provided me with a plush, luxurious robe and slippers. Her hands are magic!
