Charged to much for a 7.5 mile tow on route 12 $550 driver said because of salt water but we had already crossed the flooded are he never had to enter any water. They also damaged the front spoiler by not having proper ramps or additional blocking to load the car. Then said damage already existed. When I ask for pictures he sent me pictures of the car in our driveway like I wouldn't know the location. When I told him that the picture was after dropping it off. I ask if he had pictures before loading the car he said he thought he did but didn't. How convenient! read more

Truck wouldn't start in parking lot of Avon Wings (May 2022). Progressive Ins. didn't have roadside assistance in the area. We had to use internet to find someone. Found myself in quite a predicament while vacationing in OBX. Pulled off the road onto the shoulder/grass area while my wife (that's where my real trouble began) looked for directions to a Dollar General. My truck was too heavy and the marshy ditch sucked me in! Dropped into 4-low and made it even worse. Called OBX Towing after hours and Randy (owner) answered my call. Gave him my location and he responded very quickly. I was concerned with how my truck was situated up against the embankment that by pulling it out some damage would be done. I guess I could have done this myself, but I was alone, Audi service is free under warranty, and Randy had a jack that lifted the car much faster than the jack they give you with the car.
