I always go with a medical workers recommendation of a medical office --our standards are higher and we know what to look for. I give this place 5 stars because of the ease of getting in and out and the end goal accomplished. This is the most disgusting health care physicality I have seen. I told my husband I wasn't comfortable to go there due to the poor condition. had an ultrasound appointment scheduled at this location and drove 45 minutes to get there. When I arrived, I was told that there was no technician available to perform my ultrasound. The staff claimed they had left me a voicemail, but I never received any call, voicemail, or message informing me that my appointment could not be completed. What makes this even more frustrating is that Oc urgent care has a patient app where appointment information and updates are available. I checked the app before leaving for my appointment, and there were no cancellations, changes, or notifications of any kind. Everything appeared normal. Surprisingly, the receptionist did not even seem to know that the office has a patient app, which I found very concerning. After I had already wasted 45 minutes driving to the appointment, the receptionist handed me the phone number for Wave Imaging and told me to call them myself. Overall, I wasted my time, gas, and effort because of poor communication and a lack of organization. Patients deserve to be notified in advance when an appointment cannot be honored. I came in to get my blood drawn on a Monday morning and was told I would get a call back Tuesday morning. When I called to ask for the results they continued to push the days back telling me to wait longer and longer. It's now been 5 business days since my blood was drawn and I haven't heard back from the office nor am I able to get someone on the phone for results. read more

I've been to this urgent care twice -- once for an allergic reaction and most recently when I stabbed my hand cooking. Both times Dr. Matt helped me out and he was awesome. AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE DIRT! WE WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE! I have been taking my family to this urgent care for years, it is close to our home and in network. I don't just go to the urgent care it's the LAST possible solution if needed. My 4 year old has been sick for 2 weeks straight and it only got worse, now my whole family has it but not as bad as my 4 year old and I. So I took us to this urgent care to get checked out and try to find some type of relief. The PA (Matthew) walked in and asked us our symptoms, so I told him. He leaned back on the counter crossed his hands and said "well what do you want me to do?" I was shocked! I stared at him and said, excuse me? So he repeated himself, and I said "I came here for YOU the doctor to tell us what we need not the other way around" and he put his hand up near my face and said "I think we got off to a bad start" yea think? He had ZERO "bedside" care and he was really cold he just kept listing off drugs and asking if I wanted them for us and he kept asking if there were any other symptoms I wanted medicine for? I had already told him ALL of our symptoms. I don't have the medical degree, you do. He told me he has the same virus we have (no tests were run so he doesn't even know what virus we have) while not even wearing a mask so putting his patients at risk and that there is no medicine that will help us but if I wanted a z pack he will order it. And he asked me 3 more times if I wanted that, I told him I came here for trusted medical advice, if he thinks it will work let's order it. He said to probably won't, there is no "miracle drug" that will help. I'm not looking for a miracle but when I have bought the whole damn shelf at CVS I need a doctor to help me get over this damn virus! To PA Matthew; I hope you stop practicing, I hope you learn from this and find a different career that is more suitable for you because sir this is NOT IT! the Bolsa & Edward's staff were wonderful. my wife did not have an appointment, but they were able to see her and provide care. My wife's visit lasted an hour. I walked in & checked in easily as a first timer. I really felt cared for & comfortable when I was dying from my sickness stomach flu. They're very patient & checked up many times to make sure I'm getting better which was nice. I'm glad I came here instead of a hospital & they take medi-cal(cal optima) insurance too! I tweaked my back moving stuff and when I woke up I could hardly move. I went to OC Urgent Care as they are convenient and as it was the weekend I didn't want to search for places open or sit in a waiting room for hours. I went here, checked in and within 5 minutes a RN took my vitals. Everyone was friendly and very proficient. 5 minutes later the Doctor came in ( Doc Amanda) and performed a thorough diagnosis and sent a digital prescription to a CVS 1 mile away. And recommendation instructions for my back. Well here I am less than 24 hours later feeing amazing and very happy. Doctor Amanda thank you!!!!!! I previously came here after slicing my hand and they gave me 5 stitches and I can't even tell where I had the stitches. Top Notch. I highly Recommend. Excellent!! Good service!! My paper work has been delayed and seems like no one is doing anything there. I have been follow up with them several weeks ahead. Just been waiting and no responses. The lady told me she will give me an update back on Monday. She never called. I called the office found out that she is not even at work. If you know that you are not gonna be at work for the whole week. You should have relay my case work to other officer to continue or at least call me back so I know WHAT TO DO next. Dang, it makes me sad to see all these poor reviews. My boyfriend and I have been going to OC urgent care for years. It's the only place we'll go actually! all of our specialists doctors we have through our insurance have 5 to 6 month waiting lists! so whenever an illness or ailment pops up with us, we go straight to OC urgent care- they're always open, and for us, We really haven't had a long wait time ever. we know everybody that works there, and the resident Dr. Matt knows both of our history so he always gives us the best treatment possible. The only reason I give it four stars is because we don't like to get blood work taken there because the nurses generally aren't the best at drawing blood, so we just take the doctors order to quest or LabCorp, then they call us once they receive the results if there is anything to be concerned with. besides that we feel really comfortable there! read more

The staff is always so kind, but the bathrooms are not ADA. I am in a wheelchair and cannot enter the bathroom. I came for a UTI and there was no way to get my chair into the tiny bathroom. They are directly discriminating against disabled people by not having a facility that accommodates properly. OC urgent care must turn away patients in wheelchairs who cannot enter the bathroom. It's 2022. This is illegal. Change the bathrooms. read more

So I've been here probably close to a dozen times since I discovered them. I can honestly say it's the only UC I fully trust. In fact, I had a misdiagnosis from a different doctor and came here for a second opinion one time. The doctor sent me straight to the ER and I had to have surgery immediately. I'm so grateful that he caught it. Every time I've been it's been quick and painless. The prices are reasonable too if you don't have insurance. I've seen different staff pretty frequently and every single time they've been pleasant and charming. Special shout out to Doc who made me smile yesterday after a long hard day! Not much more to say. I have been bringing my daughter here for ten years now, and have also been a patient myself, on the rare occasions I've had illness to contend with. The staff here is friendly and attentive, we are always seen by the doctor quickly and without excessive waiting in the lobby. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! DO NOT COME HERE. I called ahead and spoke with a person who told me that they close at 8pm. I arrived at 7:24pm and the gate was locked. I likely have a knee fracture & in incredible pain. I called and they said, "not sure who you spoke with sir but yes our website & Yelp say that we close at 8pm but we close at 7:20pm so go to the hospital... i have used this facility several times with great results until today. Jason, a PA, was on duty and I have never been treated so condescendingly in all my life. I am a 58 y/o man and not a 3 y/o child but was treated as such. He didn't even do a proper patient assessment or want to listen to what I was telling him much less offer a treatment plan. This was the only urgent care open on Sunday so I have it a shot. Went in with a fever sore throat and GI issues. They tested me for covid strep and the flu, and made me take a urine test. I was told to just leave the urine test on the counter in the bathroom which I found unsanitary and odd because when I have been asked to do urine tests at other hospitals they usually have a deposit box for such things. Another thing that I found questionable was that no medical doctor actually checked me. There were no follow up questions for my symptoms and the medical assistant didn't even close the door every time she came in... so much for privacy. Furthermore, I had a 100° fever and they told me I didn't, which is incredibly frustrating. When the medical assistant came in the first thing she asked me was "how can I help you?" When I'm not a doctor and don't know how she can help me. I wouldn't really go here again and don't recommend to others. read more

I burned myself horribly by dropping a pan of boiling water down my right leg. I had 1st, 2nd & a 3rd degree burns from my upper thigh to the top of my foot. They wanted to admit me in the ER. But they finally agreed to release me from the hospital if I would go to the OC Urgent Care every other day for 6 weeks. So i went a total of 21 times. They are so great there. Long story short, I have little to no scarring at all. They are very knowledgable & skilled there. I really didn't mind having to go there because they got me in & out usually within a 1/2 an hour. If you must go to an Urgent Care sometime I highly recommend this establishment. read more

Went here since my sore throat has been painful and ibuprofen has not been helping. Marco and Rosalinda checked me in. Both were very friendly, welcoming, and provided me with all resources I needed before I left. Met with the PA, Jenny who did a thorough examination to make sure my infections weren't spreading. She ordered tests and Marco and Rosalinda explained the procedure before jumping in which I appreciate so much! Nothing freaks me out more than healthcare professionals jumping in to start prepping my arm for a blood draw without explaining why it's needed.. Your medication orders will be at your preferred pharmacy, which is extremely convenient! Overall I had a pleasant experience with all 3 staff members. The only thing is parking could be challenging.
