Also they brought in a nurse named Daisy who was the most kind, caring and compassionate medical professional person I have ever met. She treated us both as thought we were family. In fact we ended up calling her "auntie Daisy". She was so caring that the morning after his surgery she was off the clock at 7:30 am but she stayed for FREE until I got there at 11:00 am to bring him home. We are so grateful for the owner, the doctor and the staff but especially Daisy. She made all the difference in our experience through out his stay. E we love and appreciate you Daisy. His exam room is dingy and too small to be doing adjustments in and there was more emphasis on an arbitrary "power game" than things like timed breathing and proper body positioning for adjustment. I'm also not a fan of ANY chiropractor that implies maintenance is necessary. If you want to charge me more to get the adjustment done properly, fine by me. Don't half adjust me and tell me the muscle tension and pain is part of the process. I know better. I've had Chiros fix worse issues in a single visit. Now I have a few vertebrae that are shifted and stabilizer muscles that are tense holding things together. Why I hated my adjustment: -Clumsy -Unsure -Missed torsion COMPLETELY on mid and lower back adjustments -Zero concern for the pain each adjustment caused despite my verbalizing it throughout -Stupid TENZ unit that made me spasm and pinch the affected area repeatedly.

The staff is friendly and the reason he runs behind is because he is so thorough with each patient. He does what he can to help you whenever he can. Also, he is the first doctor to ever actually listen to my issues and let me know that I'm not just some crazy person who is making herself feel pain or whatever. He didn't give me more medication than I should take. Years I had a doctor prescribing so much medication that I actually had (minor but scary) respiratory depression which then caused a panic attack, which they then prescribed Xanax for. Dr Nguyen doesn't actually want you on medication if he can find better ways to get you feeling better. Physical therapy, anything.... he isn't creating customers. He's helping people and doing what is right as a professional. He actually gave me hope when I was running out of it with my pain. I went from entirely excessive amounts of medications years ago to a mostly manageable pain level (everyone had their days) in comparison because he was willing to listen and help.

Howdy all! My name is Henry and I have been an active athlete for over 20 years. I first started weight lifting at an early age and played football and basketball at the college level until a nasty ACL tear ripped my knee apart. I had an ACL repair on my right knee following the injury. Also, because I started weight lifting early on in life, the cartilage in my knees were pretty much worn out and gone! I also had a very severe car accident about two years ago which affected my neck and postural muscles. I started off feeling extreme pain and tightness in my neck and upper back area until it finally worked it's way down into my lower back as well. I was positive that surgery was imminent and that I had no other option. Miraculously, a close friend of mine asked me if I had ever seen a Chiropractic Doctor and my first response was a jokingly "No!" My friend told me that he had amazing results with the doctors at OLWC and talked me into giving it a try. I first started seeing Dr. Matthew Griffith, Dr. Randy Ramirez and their staff at Optimized Living and Wellness Center about a year and a half ago and definitely had a reluctant feeling towards the whole idea. Dr. Griffith and Dr. Ramirez explained to me that an initial whiplash injury from the car accident had effected my nerve path and was causing the sharp, spastic pain down my back. They also explained how risky back surgery can be and how a series of chiropractic treatments including adjustments, electrical stimulation, joint mobilization and therapeutic exercises can be a better alternative to surgery with less risk and minimal long-term effects. I have to say, after my first treatment, I was hooked! The initial visit gave me So much relief that I immediately felt 10 years younger and it was also a great informative learning experience as to what I was feeling and what my body was experiencing. After about 2 months of regular adjustments and the feeling of a "new back", we started to address my knees and he referred me to his Physical Therapist, Milo Milosevich, who is located in the same office. We did extensive PT for over 3 months, in which, the staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I also started to see the Acupuncturist and Massage Therapists on board at the office which taught me how to address stress and tension of daily living. From weight loss and fitness education to chiropractors and massage therapists, OLWC has it all! My knees WILL eventually need to be totally replaced, but Optimized Living and Wellness Center has allowed me to experience a new, natural type of pain relief with no side effects and I will be back once the time comes for my knees to be replaced. What's Goin On! All is good with me. Teaching my Phys.Ed. classes has been a solid experience and my students have been doing a pretty good job. Proud of them, because I put a lot of emphasis on life skills, integrity, character along with success, and the majority of them buy in. The few that don't, hopefully will get it down the road of "life". My other job, officiating HS Boys Basketball has been working itself back into the rotation of my schedule. Spring league has started and I'm working a few games per week and getting some quality boy's varsity weekend tournaments. It's definitely time to focus and prioritize, and my body and mind get tested. It always take work: Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. It's mid February. Time is flying by and my mind, body, spirit and soul is tired, worn out from the constant strain and stress of life and its responsibilities, my work as a Phys. Ed. teacher, hoopin when I get time, working out ‍ at my local 24 Hour Fitness - everyday, and my Boys HS Varsity Basketball season officiating games; life has been challenging, my family has been a rock of support, but I'm okay, blessed and I've been able to handle it. I'm able to keep going mainly because of my support from OC Wellness Medical Group of Westminster, CA and its staff. They've been on my side for more than eight years and I'm blessed to have them in my circle of support. The amount of wear and tear I put my body through is insane. My back, neck, and shoulder issues have been so severe the past few years, my quality of life was very bad and extremely limited. I have been in so many medical and chiropractic offices trying to find someone to help me with the pain and limited function but with no luck until I found Dr. Griffith and the Optimized Living Wellness Center. I cannot say enough about this group of professionals. Not only will you receive first rate counseling and treatment from Dr. Griffith, the entire staff is very knowledgeable and will always take time to answer your questions. Orange County Wellness Physicians is a state of the art physical wellness center. I began my journey with OC Wellness when I was 5 months pregnant because I was experiencing painful sciatic never damage in my hips. I am still a patient 3 years later. I have used all of the services that OC Wellness provides. Massages, Jamie is the best ever!!! Especially for prenatal massages. I currently do Pilates 3-4 a week with Patti. Patti is the Pilates instructor she is amazing and helped me get my pre-baby body back. Carlos and Jenessia are amazing physical therapist. I have severe scoliosis, I have lived with neck and back pain my entire life. Miko did an amazing job diagnosing me. I have gotten amazing care and live life almost pain free today. I have been an endurance athlete most of my life and have had my share of injuries and pain throughout the years. For may years I had learned to just "deal" with it and run, bike, and swim through pain. In many cases the injuries limited my training and for a high mileage guy it was very difficult to accept. Les than 1 year ago I was refereed to Dr. Griffith at the Optimized Living Wellness Center and was happily surprised. Pains that I had grown accustomed to were no longer and the explanations and education that came with the treatments helped me avoid getting more injuries to begin with. This last winter I trained for a Half Ironman in Oceanside and it was critical I do well. I see Dr. Johnson and he suggested I try a massage before I had my adjustment because I was having problems with my jaw being out and my neck which has bothered me for years. I went through 2 people who told me I was getting a tolal body message, but ended up only working on my neck and jaw and back. When I met Heather, she told me I would get a full body massage, plus some areas that Dr. Johnson thought would help me. I don't want to make her impossible to see, but in 3 weeks she knew my body and worked on whatever her fingers told her needed to be worked on. Then I fell in my garden and hurt my right shoulder and couldn't get into PT for a month and Heather again picked up the slack and worked on my shoulder while still giving me a full body massage. My experience at Optimized Living Wellness Center and Dr. Griffith himself was amazing to say the least. I first went in for an initial exam and x-rays and then returned for the diagnosis. Dr. Griffith showed me how my back was slightly misaligned; he explained how he can help me and how important preventive care is. After 11 months of suffering and many other treatments for my spine that did not address the causes due to an auto accident, I went to see Dr. Randy Ramirez. I have finished treating with Dr. Ramirez, and I am now a new person. If it wasn't for Dr. Ramirez, I would still be in pain. He helped me with adjustments and physical therapy, where it really matters. It was very important for me to get senior citizens specialized treatments. Hi Dr. Ramirez, First of all, I would like to say Thank you to you Dr. Randy Ramirez, you and your staff have provided me with good care and offered me with a great customer service. I got a frozen shoulder issues on my left arm, it was very painful when attempted to lift up the arm, the entire of the area which prevented me to do anything. After searching for the Physical Therapy in my area, my sister has preferred me to OLWC for treatments. I am so happy that after about ten visits my arm was able to move normal like before. Love these doctors, physical therapists, message therapists, and front office staff. They all welcome you as you enter the office. I just had ACL repair and have now ventured into the physical therapy realm of the office. Wow! They are all fantastic. My ROM is improving by leaps and bounds with each visit. I have been a patient of OC Wellness for about a year. They are the most welcoming office! All the practitioners from the pilates instructors to the chiropractic doctors, to the massage therapists are kind and caring. I have been going here for only 1 month but when I arrived, I had the worse pain in my feet from plantar fasciitis. I could barely stand in the morning or walk by the end of the day because the level of pain was so high. I am amazed at how much the pain has reduced to in just this short amount of time. I received a free consultation to see what my problem was, turns out I had previously fractured my L5 vertebrae that I had no idea about! Dr. Chad was incredible from the start. He took the time to clearly explain my injury and created a recovery plan that got me back on my feet and functioning in daily life within just a few weeks. Eva, my lead aide, has been instrumental in my recovery. She brings great energy to every session, makes the process fun, and is an excellent coach who pays close attention to form and technique during exercises. Bending my back was painful. Laying down, it was painful to sit up and could barely lift my leg without a sharp piercing pain. Rolling out of bed carefully. I endured it for 5 days and could not take it anymore. I contacted Dr. Cho to see if there was an appointment for the same day and she was able to squeeze me in. After tons of needles and Dr. Cho trying to isolate the part that is causing the pain, she was able to alleviate my symptoms. As the business is located in OC, they are fluent in Vietnamese and English, which is great since I'm not comfortable with my Vietnamese. The office staff and physical therapists are all kind. I was referred to Alliance Rehabilitation after an accident to treat my shoulder injury and so far it is going well. Dr. Jonathan Huynh is kind and always willing to accommodate a client's need. I'm not a socializer and it's nice the staff there understands and allows me to just do my thing. I've observed the establishment treat their clients with respect and care, if you need pain management and physical therapy- do come here and they will help you regain functional body mechanics!
