untrustworthy business and staff! i had an app't at ocala infectious disease and wound center. It went like this: I was told that my request to have an app't with Dr Mirza would be filled. The app't was scheduled i show up for my app't on time but while waiting to see the doctor i was notified by phone that my app't and doctor was changed...remember im in the office waiting to see doctor. At this time i refused to see a different doc and requested a refund for my co-pay (lie #1). while getting my refund which was paid by visa. But instead of applying it back on visa i was given a paper stating the refund was given back. That was a week ago still no refund issued back to visa. (lie #2). All the staff was very unkind , including one person in clerical role said it depended on my bank when I got the money back. (lie#3) My bank can't issue the money back to my account UNTIL IT IS RETURNED TO THE BANK by them. My conclusion is the business is built on lies!! MY ADVICE: Find another provider read more

This is a terrible doctor. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease in December after over a year of bizarre symptoms. I live in Orlando but had trouble finding a specialist to even take me as a patient. He did see me quickly and I was initially happy he took insurance, unlike many lyme aware doctors. He threw antibiotics at me indiscriminately and yelled at me for asking questions. He has a fragile ego and terrible bedside manner. He does not listen nor care about his patients. He should be barred from practice. He missed several coinfections and health issues. He confirmed lyme, to his credit. He denied biofilms were an issue, which is patently false. My immune system apparently was damaged after a covid infection in 2020 and I've been deteriorating ever since. If you have anything more complicated than an acute Lyme infection, I suggest finding a lyme aware doctor from a service like Global Lyme Alliance. My transportation was going to leave me and couldn't pick me up for 2 to 3 hours later. So I spoke to the office and told them that I had to leave.. Spent 10 days receive IV suppose to open at 7:am Monday to Friday but didn't open until 7:30 to *am Saturday and Sunday open at 6:AM but nurses don't open the doors until 6:30 or later. my first visit I waited three hours to see Doctor Mirza had office appointment at 8:20 arrived 10 minutes early nurses were there but no doctor or A R N P . waited for 50 minutes in the exam then left. Slow to respond. My mother landed in the ER on the weekend since the office never responded to two (2) phone calls made the week before on Tuesday and on Thursday.
