My personal favorite shop when visiting the Fenwick/OC area. I was initially skeptical about this place based on the exterior; I saw it was packed and wondered how is it popular. I can now see why- inside, there's so many knick knacks, homemade local sweets and snacks, apparel, decoration items, and so much more. The shop itself is quite spacious with two floors- they even have a Christmas section for picking special ornaments and other decor. My favorite part was their house made fudge and other snacks. They had many fudge options to choose from and they offer samples. I ordered their orange cream, salted caramel, and chocolate coconut flavors. The chocolate coconut was my favorite. Certainly a rich and divine fudge- you cannot leave without ordering some. They also had sesame sticks to try and wow, their honey sesame sticks are a GREAT savory snack. I generally have a sweet tooth, but these are another personal favorite of mine that I plan to get every time I come. I can't wait to come back! read more

Do yourself a favor and stop here! They make their own fudge in so many flavors and the Heath fudge was really hard not to pace myself because it's just that good! They have everything you can think of. The people were all super friendly. There's so much stuff, you literally have to look at one side of the aisle and then come back to look at the other side! They have food mixes, spices, cheese dips, jars and jars of every condimen you can think of. Be prepared to spend some time there, if you look at everything you're gonna be a while. The only not so great thing was the parking, because this store is hella busy! But even walking a bit more to get there is worth it. Old Bay?! Honey they got it all! A great place to hit in a rainy day or maybe a day where you need a break from the beach. The store is quite large. There are two floors multiple staircases. Employees throughout both upstairs and downstairs. They have everything from summer spring fall, and winter they cover just about every holiday. Have always loved their cheddar cheese spreads, and have been buying them for the past 30 years, but in the past couple of years I've noticed a decline in both quality and quanity. Don't know if they have changed their recipe slightly because of economic issues....(how much has the cost of jalapenos or horseradish gone up?) but it seems that none of the spreads are as tasty as they used to be. The change in taste coupled with the fact that the size of the container has been downsized and the price of the contrainer has been upsized is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT I'm sorry to say!!! read more

Every year that I go on vacation I stop in here. They have the cutest nicknacks and food. This year I bought some fudge from the little fudge shop. It was incredibly delicious. I love visiting this store when I come to the beach! It's about a one minute walk from my beach house, so I sometimes come here multiple times on extended visits. Their fudge is amazing, definitely the best I've had at the MD/DE beaches, if not anywhere. The perfect balance of sweet and creamy, and they have tons of different flavors! I love the chewy chocolate praline, tiger butter, cotton candy, plus a whole bunch of others! Their cheese is also very good; unfortunately, it only comes in one pretty large size which is usually too much for me. They also have a good selection of jams, preserves, hot sauces, etc. The 2nd floor is pretty cool too. They have a lot of trinkets as well as some old Fenwick Island gear. This employee doesn't wear a mask. I mentioned it to another employee and he said it was fine because he has a medical condition. If that's the case, he shouldn't be working in a shop with customers. He was mocking me as I asked him to put one on, as you can see in the photo. Avoid this place at all costs if you believe COVID is real and don't want to get sick. Seaside country store is really the coolest little store. They have their own parking lot so parking is never a problem. It is modern with an old timey feel. The atmosphere is immaculate and very organized. They have a little bit of everything from sauces to Knicks knacks to candy and homemade fudge. The fudge is the best I have ever eaten. The staff is very friendly and professional. The prices are very reasonable. Whenever we are in Ocean City Maryland this is always one of our stops. We come for the fudge but usually fill up the basket with other goodies. It is a little bit overwhelming because there are so many things that we want to take home with us but it is just not possible. The location is literally five minutes outside of Ocean city Maryland. I was walking through this store And enjoying checking out the treats and goods and as we went down the stairs I spotted a sign with a black boy with red lips(reminiscent of the black face look), advertising blackberry soda, which you can see on the pic. Any store in 2013 that feels comfortable hanging this obviously has no clue or doesn't care about offending black people. It's tacky but seeing as you don't see too many of us around these parts, they probably just don't give a (bleep). As long as that sign remains I'll spend my money elsewhere. Went to the store today and an employee was walking around with no mask. I tried to ignore it, but then I turned around and his maskless face was inches from me. I asked him to put it on and he got aggressive towards me and told me "it fell off." I saw him walking around the store for quite some time with no mask. He was combative and refused to put the mask on, which was dangling from his ear. This is why we can't have nice things. I won't be returning to this store as the owner clearly doesn't care. During the two times I have visited this store in the past month, the same entitled male employee did NOT have a mask on his face. Today he was inches from my face without his mask and when asked to put it on, he fought back and continued maskless. When I mentioned this employee to the cashier, he said the employee claimed to have breathing problems. My husband, 4 children and I were visiting OCMD for a vacation and I saw an ad for this country store in one of the magazines at our hotel. I was very excited to visit, since we love going to these types of stores whenever we vacation. We have four children--4, 8 and twin 6 month olds. We went into the store with the babies in a stroller and were told we had to leave with the stroller. I could understand if the aisles were tiny or if there were breakable objects all over the place, but this was not the case at all. I noticed another person had the same complaint, and like them we also left and decided against purchasing anything, which would've amounted to a lot. We were going to buy at least three lbs of their cheese and 3lbs of their fudge but they lost our business, we will never return here, and we will recommend others stay away as well. We've visited most of the stores in the area over the last 8 or so years we've been vacationing in Bethany Beach, and this is the one we come back to over and over again. While they can be a little pricey, they have a lovely selection of coastal themed items and goodies. Half the first floor features sauces, seasonings, dips and goodies, including candy. The store made fudge is INCREDIBLE - I get it every single time. They feature at least a dozen different flavors at a time, and they'll give you a sample before you purchase. I'm a big fan of their Christmas ornaments, and they feature items for Halloween and Thanksgiving as well. Plenty of shore themed items, mostly home decor and entertaining (platters, glasses, etc.). This is not your typical tacky plastic souvenir shop, and well worth a visit. read more

We tend to go here every year. It's a pricey store, but with some items you just don't see everywhere. They segregate the store into different themes. I usually head right to the Halloween section and then I'm pretty much done. As soon as you walk in, there are great foods and candy in front of you. Preserves, cheeses, fudge, and small other treats. Getting help or asking questions can be challenging at times. A few times I have been there, the workers have told parents that they can't bring their strollers in. Today was no different. Since they are so pricey, they don't want anything damaged from the tightly packed aisles. There are still small kids in the store occasionally. Today, one started pulling towels from a rack. Parking can usually be hard to find, but today there was a spot right out front. This store is always packed with people slowly walking through each section. read more

NOT baby friendly!!! While traveling to Ocean City I saw advertisements for this business and was so interested I made it a point to go out of my way to check it out. I was in the store not even 5 minutes when the lady behind the counter told my husband they don't allow strollers... My 7 month old was sleeping and to take him out of the stroller (a little umbrella stroller) would mean I'd have to wake him which mind you would limit my shopping as it is. Hot summer day with an infant, thought that this would be a great way to shop away the afternoon. Before we even got 2 feet in the door we were coldly told that there were no strollers allowed. Other patrons around us were as caught off guard as we were by the abrupt rudeness of the staff person at the front door register. My family got back in the car and proceeded to Floaters instead which is just a short ride down the road on Route 54 and had a great afternoon despite the set back. How have I been going to OC for years and never knew about this place?! Tons of collectibles and knick knacks...lots of it is beach themed and cute, not tacky! They also have Christmas and Halloween stuff. It's a great place to find unique gifts. On the first floor they have amazing fudge (try the dark chocolate caramel with sea salt!), old fashioned candy, and cheese spreads that are made in house.
