I went to Ocean County Foot & Ankle on February 20, 2025 in order to obtain diabetic shoes. The shoes were ordered and never came in. So I went back in May because the order was messed up somehow and I had to get re-measured. They told me they would try to expedite my order. Every time I call to find out where shoes are, I am told that I will have them in "about two weeks." This is the WORST customer service that I have ever experienced. Today is August 26, full 6 months and 6 days since this debacle started and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY SHOES. read more

terrible, new patient asked to go to diff. location which I conceded the dr. did only a fraction of what I was there for, i was told they lacked the machine to do the treatment AFTER I had already paid my co pay and visit was about over or I would have walked out. they refused to return co pay or give me another visit co pay free. The Dr. would not simply walk me to another exam room where the equip was and ask any patient waiting there to swap rooms. instead she expected me to wait another probably 90 minutes , maybe more, for ALL her patients to be seen when she already left me waiting One full hour after my apt time I had to wait already. apalling and their practice administrator does nothing, wont return co pay . I paid for something I did not get when all of them knew it was important that I was treated for this along with another issue. rip off, incompetance and disregard for patient in my opinion. I am filing complaint with m edical assoc. that are appropriate, my health insurance plan and anyone else that is appropriate. I feel ripped off and worse, did not get necessary treatment I needed. they dont care in my opinion. receptionist was also a bit snarky to me and not professional saying out loud " WHy did they have her come to this location" where I could hear when she knew my other apt was cancelled by other dr and this was where they had opening. entire place is two thumbs down. I told her I could not see well the i pad, I have cataracts that are getting surgery shortly and she would not help I had to find another person waiting who was kind to help me see it. just pathetic. read more

I had my first visit with Dr. Nikki Migliorii with the issue of peripheral neuropathy in my feet & legs .. She was wonderful . What impressed me most was her amazing knowledge overall & her warm & friendly personality ... Yet she was very professional when it came to my medical issues head on with more than one way to help me ... I highly recommend her .. What adds to my high recommendation is her assistant Kaitlyn's warm & helpful manner .. The office is immaculate & the rest of the staff very helpful & friendly ... read more

I had an injury that took place in 2023 Dr. Sean Lyons was assigned to me for a follow-up. I needed a narrative report for workman's Comp Dr. Lyons kept telling me he sent all my information up to my portal, mind you I can see what is sent and what is not sent. I was home without no pay because the narrative was needed for my case. Labor department sent me a letter stating the doctor is not recording his information correctly that's why I did not get paid for 2months. I showed Dr. Lyons the letter He took care of the situation, then I received payment. I was put back out of work by Dr Lyons in July because Workmans comp didn't do there part not sending me to therapy and no brace, or boot in a timely matter that Dr. Lyons requested for the same injury, which Dr. Lyons refused to send information up to workman comp a narrative report why I was unable to go back to work in July. He did a MRI it showed I had other issues going on so he did surgery. I've been out of work since 2/10/2025 with no pay because Dr.Lyons is charging $2,500 for a narrative report that is needed to get my benefits released to me. I'm in the process of losing things. I spoke with several lawyers about that payment he is asking for they said the normal amount one ask for is 500-600 dollars. In the mean time he has me out of work until May I have no money to pay my bills because he won't send the narrative report to Workmans comp. I am a respectful person, I treat people how I want to be treated. I did nothing wrong to this doctor for him to treat me this way. I had a lawyer the lawyer dropped me because of the payment he is asking for. I can't pay it because I have no money coming in. All I ask is please send the narrative report so I can pay my bills. I don't do things like this but I'm in need of help. I wouldn't' wish this on my enemies. Please send the report. He seems to be a very good Dr. but his frustrastion towards workman's comp affects me. read more

I made an appointment at the Forked River office to discuss possible Bunion Surgery. The office staff was very pleasant and helpful. I met with Dr. Costa to discuss the surgery and she was very knowledgeable and discussed my options and went into detail with the surgery and recovery. The office helped me with all of the pre-testing appointments and provided me with a folder with all of the documents needed to proceed with the surgery. I had the surgery on 1/17 and Dr. Costa did a great job, I had a follow-up meeting with her this past week, and foot is healing great. I am glad that she gave me detailed instructions for my post surgery recovery, because I knew what to expect and what to avoid so I could be back on my feet. read more

I am not a patient of Dr Lenz but I have a Son in Law who is diabetic who lost his big toe before visiting Dr. Lenz He start with a small callus that went on forever and finally tunneled to the bone. Dr Lenz did a miraculous surgery using modern treatments and his wonderful experience and expertise. He has saved his foot and our family is so grateful to him. He has a wonderful bedside manor and is good at answering questions and concerns. Although I was not a patient I was a nurse for 18 years and did a lot of wound care. Doctors hold you fate in their hands It is such a gift when you find such a talented and caring soul. Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for saving his foot. I called to make an appointment. I explained that I had seen three podiatrists and was looking for an orthopedist. After being cut off and put on hold REPEATEDLY, I was scheduled for an appointment with a doctor. I asked if the doctor was an ortho and was assured that they were. I asked for the doctor's name. Then, I was told to arrive for the appointment a half-hour early to do the paperwork. I explained that I have arthritis and cannot hand-write and asked if a) the paperwork is online so I can do it before arrival or b) if there is someone to help me. I was told "no." When I asked what I should do, after confirming that I had no one to attend the appointment with me, they said "I don't know." I asked again, "I can't get the paperwork ahead of time?" Then they said it is on their website. So, I went to the site to get the paperwork and look up the doctor only to find out that they ARE a podiatrist! I called back and was told that I have to see a podiatrist first and then they will send me to the ortho at a second appointment. Apparently, no one is listening on the phones. I canceled and will go elsewhere. read more
