It was just a few stops to get to the airport and a few in the other direction to main hubs in Copenhagen's popular areas. Super easy to navigate and not take a ton of time on transit. The only downside is that it was pretty hot when I was there, and though the windows opened, there were many large spider webs just outside mine since it was near exterior lights. Nothing the hotel could do much about, but made me a bit uneasy about leaving the windows open for a breeze. I would definitely stay here again on another trip.

We booked both as wheelchair accessible and while the Marriott has textured bathroom tile floors unlike the St Annæ's slippery smooth tiles, the lower than ADA allowed toilet was a problem. Also only one of the four table lamps worked. The room's door closer and threshold made egress very difficult. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good but subpar to the local hotel's. The location is pretty along the harbor, next to BIG's swimming and sauna chalet, and they provide robes and towels for daring guests. However it is a bit isolated from the many nicer local shops and restaurants.

However, it is 15 minute walk to the nearest metro station and city center. There is a hotel restaurant, but no other restaurants nearby within 15 minute walk. This is fine for the summer, but inconvenient in sub-zero temperatures (1/2 star off). I stayed here in February, so found myself rather trapped unless I take a taxi everywhere.

This was a last minute decision & we arrived with zero pre-trip knowledge. On arrival at the hotel (noonish) with a strict 2pm check-in. We popped our luggage in the luggage room and plopped down in the lobby to do some quick Copenhagen research. This is when we found out about the transit. The desk agent offered help & suggestions for lunch, but we were on a mission of discovery! At about 1pm, we headed to the Kastrup Station to catch the M2 into the city, armed with a route map screenshot & a 48hr city pass - giving us access to many attractions & transportation. Easy Peasy! We added a night & took the metro to the airport. Leaving the lobby at 630a, we still had time to grab food/ coffee before our 910a flight out of CPH. The lobby looked really good & appeared to have a/c, while the hotel rooms were beyond well-worn, shabby even. There was a notation about being the first hotel to put tvs in every room & I'm pretty sure that was the same day they installed the carpets & showers... get a room with a tub, if you can. We had 2 different rooms because of adding a night and the shower stench from the floor drain was ugh. The carpet was worn to the point that it was painful to walk on without shoes. It was also scary-stained, making shoeless a questionable choice anyhow. The windows open wide, which is good cuz there's NO A/C - it's not that it wasn't turned on, there is none. It was toasty. Now. Speaking of windows, you can see inside the rooms even with the windows closed if the curtains are open. With a courtyard view, you face other rooms & may get a free show. Fans are available in the closets of the rooms. Overall, I'd stay again for the price and convenience. All we did was sleep & shower - one night our room was paid with points so breakfast was included. It's good for free but I wouldn't pay to add it, personally.

I was soooo excited about staying here because of its great location (Nyhavn st.) with the iconic colorful buildings and beautiful canals. The pictures of the hotel room made it look cozy and chic. We first arrived at 11PM and found a 15 minute parking spot right in front of the hotel. Past a certain time, they lock the entrance and you either open with your room key or you need to ring the doorbell. I wish I could remember the staff members names :( they were all so sweet and helpful! From giving us a small tour, taking us to the elevator and someone waiting in the cold to help us park the rental, these people are just awesome. I personally thought the people we encountered in our short stay were very sweet. People smiled back :D that does not happen at home. LOL. P.S parking is $40 USD The rooms are even more beautiful in person. We got a basic room because it was a short stay and our flight was the next day at 12PM. The water was warm compared to what we were using the days prior in Italy. The bed was A+. There's a stocked mini fridge and a couple of snacks (not free) but it helps for any midnight munchies. We ended up driving up to Mcdonald's. Hear me out... If you feel like the chicken nuggets have never tasted the same than before in the US, TRY IT OUT IN COPENHAGEN. I took a bite and went back to my childhood. I'll definitely be back to visit!

(NOTE: This is a complaint about Scandi's rude mishandling of an erroneous charge and does not…read moredevalue my prior rave Yelp reviews about staying there August 2024) On 7/21/26 -nearly two years after a stellar August stay at Scandi, attempted to charge a reservation for 8/21 to 8/30/26, but my CapOne card did not put it through as a charge. An out of country fraud alert was sent to me. Rather than run the risk of a double charge on that same card, I contacted my credit card folks and cancelled the attempted charge after speaking to their fraud dept. No money was ever paid to make any reservation. Days later I made other reservations on another credit card at The Square 8/21-25 across the townhall square from Scandi Palace and the. Tivoli Hotel 8/25-8/30 - I ultimately stayed at both. Between 7/21/26 and 8/21/26, I neither heard nor expected to hear from Expedia or Scandi about any reservation either mistakenly thought had been made. Neither contacted me for any reason and yet, suddenly on 8/21, Scandi debited my Capcard $304.74. I have notified my credit card company who will ultimately get my refund. I yelp about how I was treated when I walked over to Scandi from the Square, in person. On the first such occasion, I was dismissively brushed off by the front desk and on the second occasion, my further civil attempts to straighten this out were rudely rejected. The woman clerk the second time haughtily informed me that Scandi had "nothing to do with it." However, she was unable to explain how Scandi debiting my account and Scandi keeping my money in their possession showed they had "nothing" to do with it. She wasn't much interested in any further discussion and at first declined giving me contact information arkk. for the supervisor. They charged me a day's stay for a reservation that was never made. They never wrote to me or contacted me about the so called reservation. They've illegally taken my money, kept it and thumbed their nose at me. Fortunately for them they can't be sued for Consumer Fraud which in New Jersey would entitle me to treble damages or over $900.00. Unfortunately for them, there are three Danish authorities (including the police) I'll file complaints with if they still refuse the refund with my credit card demanding it. I doubt I'll ever stay there again even after I get the refund by whatever means necessary. The Danish ethos of following rules and the law and exhibiting empathy was replaced by the Scandi staff with their tacit brush off attitudes of "fat chance" and "get lost".

I arrived early, before check-in, and the reception staff offered to hold my luggage so I could explore the city. They give you a code and place it in a locked and video-monitored closet down in the basement. It was easy to do and safe for your belongings. After some exploring, I returned to the hotel around 4 PM and finally checked in. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my single room had been upgraded to a larger room for free. I was stoked to hear that and loved the room and location they gave me. The room was beautifully furnished and was very clean! The only downside is the no AC. The temperature that day was in the low 60s (60-63 degrees). This may sound nice, but it was rather toasty in my room. They had a standing fan that, unfortunately, did not rotate, but it helped somewhat. They give you very heavy-duty duvets that are better for winter weather, but thankfully, I opened some of the windows in my room, which made it more bearable to sleep at night. The staff here was so friendly and accommodating. It's very close to plenty of sights, attractions, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. It's a beautifully decorated hotel, with lovely rooms and an excellent location.

I should just go across the street and get a sim card for my phone (my phone doesn't accept a sim card). The 3rd day I was there the cleaning people got me a phone from another room and it was connected. I tried to get some compensation for the phone and was treated very rudely by the manager. The hotel was ok except for the phone and manager issue.
