There is a main room with a stage, an entrance room area, and 2 side rooms off the entrance room. There are lots of windows, handicap accessible once inside (but the ramp in front goes to a side door). We were plenty warm inside. Good size for a smaller event, but with a packed event it's VERY tight.

I rented the center for my child's birthday party a couple years ago, paid $100 to rent it all…read moreday..came in one day before the event to set up table and chairs and any decor that could be done ahead of time had no problems whatsoever rated this place with 5 stars spread the word around to a lot of family and friends..however I took my 5 stars back im giving 1 star (only cause my review wont post unless i rate the company if not for that they would have 0 stars) until they get new management..my sister had her baby shower there my auntie paid the $100 fee..she told the manager we would be in the day before to set up, me and my sister go start setting up the day before her shower and the manager busts in the building demanding us to get out saying we only suppose to be in there on the date we chose..he should have told us that on the day he received the $100 he handled the situation very poorly and unprofessional..i will not recommend this place to anyone or rent it myself ever again until they find qualified employee's...the folks there are very unprofessional and tacky especially the manager...

It appears to be newer as the décor and design is modern and up-to-date. Everything went smooth for the conference. It's also connected to the Embassy Suites, so it's easy to stay there and walk right in to the convention center.

As a Vendor that goes to many shows there is usually a problem unloading as many are doing the same at the same time. It went so very smoothly. We wanted for nothing. Colin was stationed near our area and whatever we needed or asked he had an answer or solution. I was very impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of the area. During my last vist to Cheraw a few weeks ago, I visited the Cheraw Town Green with my cousin, and I was absolutely blown away! The beautifully maintained grounds create a peaceful atmosphere, and the Cheraw Town Hall building is a stunning centerpiece with its classic Southern architecture. It truly adds to the town's charm and history. The highlight of my visit was seeing the Dizzy Gillespie statue; a remarkable tribute to the jazz legend. I had always admired his music, but standing there, I learned something incredible: Dizzy Gillespie is actually a relative of mine! Discovering that personal connection to such an influential figure made this visit even more special. Whether you're a history buff, a jazz fan, or just looking for a beautiful place to take in Cheraw's charm, the Town Green is a must-visit. I can't wait to return! I've added the city's yearly jazz festival as one my bucket list items.

The park is showing signs of age and usage, but it's still a fun park to either take your family or hold a birthday party under the covered table area. Lots of different attractions for the kids to climb and play on, with several areas for the adults to sit in the shade. Parking is plentiful and convenient, and because the recreation center isn't always open, there are out-houses on site for those last minute emergencies.
