The bubble tea was refreshing and flavorful, and I could choose from many options of tea, milk, and toppings. I tried the strawberry milk tea with tapioca pearls and it was delicious. The lumpia was crispy and savory, and it came with a sweet and sour sauce. It was a perfect combination of textures and flavors. The service was also quick and courteous. The young server was friendly and helpful, and he explained the menu and the ingredients to me. They made my order in less than 15 minutes and served it with a smile. They even mentioned my name. Pilipino grocery store / bubble tea/ice cream and more slashes.. serves cooked Pilipino food. Which was a first. We tried the lumpia they were pretty affordable... if you've never had them they look like taquitos and are kind of like the asian version. They have meat shredded veggies and onions and came with a sauce. They had traditional desert Halo Halo which was ube icecream, coconut I think taro, green, red and white beans, noodle, coconut, maybe condensed milk..delicious.. Super colorful happy time desert in a cup. Try it if you haven't. So ya you can get ube icecream by itself here. I think there were some other asian flavors too. They have dumplings, some stir fry dishes and some more stuff. The cool thing about the bubble tea here is they let you mix flavors. I got a matcha taro! Not many places you can do that. Confusing set up. Store in back and makeshift restaurant in front. Counter service is unfriendly and difficult to understand. If your new to filipino cuisine, you're in trouble as there is no descriptions of anything on the short menu. I had the pancit and it had zero flavor, ate 3 bites and tossed in the trash. read more

All the lumpia flavors are great! They have awesome variety in such a compact area. I love all the different types of Asian ramen noodles and ice cream... all the things I crave. I've had their frozen Taro and boba drink and it made my day. Instant smile and happy day, just add frozen boba tea!! If you crave Asian goodies, then they will have SOMETHING to make your heart smile - I guarantee. They are now a rare treat for me since I am gluten free keto. Speaking of which they have many gluten-free options for those that are looking but good luck if your keto. I'm always driving by their spot like a lost love. While staying at the beach we decided to venture out over the bridge to the "other part of PCB" and check out some ethnic food. I , of course, found the place using my trusty yelp app and since I really hadn't had filipino food I had to go. My hubby and I first went to the grocery store portion and I bought a lot of goodies, ube powder, ube jam, frozen sisig, spices, drinks, noodles and more. After grabbing some groceries, we went to grab some food and got the combo special of pancit, rice and lumpia and a taro bubble tea along with 8 lumpia to bring to the kids, 4 pork, 2 beef and 2 chicken. The pancit was good, lumpia was delicious and the rice was just rice. The taro tea was very good as well. After we finished we got some ube ice cream and it was delicious! I highly recommend you give it a try. We took our groceries home and later that night I made the frozen sisig. Microwaved it as instructed and then transferred it to a hot skillet, added a little onion powder, fresh red onion, black pepper and an egg. Once the sisig was a little crispy on the bottom I served it over rice and it was actually really good. The only thing I wish I had was some fresh hot chilis to put in it. I wish there was a way to bring some home but it wouldn't survive the 8 plus hour trip home so I'll have to make it from scratch. Love this store, love the food and will looking to find a market in Charlotte that hopefully is just as good as this one. So ditch the waterfront and take a drive here for some unique cuisine and a cool grocery experience. That is all! read more

Bubble tea is very basic. I had taro and I know it's from powder but tasted very artificial down to the tapica. Not sure if it's commercial grade tapioca or the kind you make at home. The drink tasted like an artificial sweetener type of drink. I wouldn't get bubble tea even if that's the only one in Panama City area. Phillipino food BBQ chicken combo is alright not special. Not much taste like no taste in noodle. BBQ chicken is more salty than sweet sauce. It's like it is cooked in a soy sauce marination. If you mix the more salty chicken with the plain noodle it's perfect. Chicken also tasted more fattening (maybe they used a fattening part of the chicken) (Basically like Chinese food and egg roll) Lumpia (Mexican taquito equivalent) I asked if the combo came with lumpia and they said no which was why I'd ordered an order of the lumpia just to find out that two came in the combo. Not a big menu but the few dishes we tried were very good that we went back. Wife and kids enjoyed the pancit. Nothing fancy but it was almost like someone cooked it for you in their house. We used to shop here but will no longer, there's two other stores right down the road. The sign next to their fridge clearly said bittermelon $1.99/lb when I checked my receipt I was charged $2.28 and when I asked her about it she said no that's erased... but if it was erased why can I still see $1.99 and why wasn't the new price written? Not crying about the few pennies, but that the sign clearly states one price and she's trying to tell me it was erased. Sounds like bad ethics to me. read more

Owned by an old vietnamese couple which are one of the friendliest people I have ever met. It is a small store but they sure pack a lot of different stuff! You have to look closely since the shelves are full and the aisles are skinny. There is a reasonable supply of refrigerated goods and some produce. You can also find non food items.
