When we got in, the staff greeted us with a smile and checked us in. Filled out paperworks amd turned it in. Literally sat in waiting room for 5 mins and we got called in. I was impressed knowing that Dr Ignacio is a busy woman (I researched her online and found out she participates/belongs in various groups). Dr Ignacio appears to be a very happy person. I mean she smiled the whole visit. I could tell it in her voice that this doctor is the one!! I love the way she dresses and presents herself. She was very professional and she assured my daughter that everything will be okay. Anyway to make a long story short, my daughter needs surgery. It broke my heart when my dtr cried because she is not able to cheer for 7-8mos. Dr Ignacio was apologetic in breaking the news to her but reassured her she will get back on her feet and resume her activities. Her MA, Johnna was also caring in helping us set up appts for preop and postop. When asked about fmla papers and workslip, Johnna said to bring it in or fax and she will get all paperwork filled out. Dr. Hawk was my primary care physician from when he was working out of a physical therapy, rehab clinic. Back then Dr. Hawk would personally meet and greet you and he had a genuine connection with his patients. I guess now his clinic has increased in clients but decreased in service,in my opinion... There is no longer a one on one visit with Dr. Hawk and that's rather unfortunate. My phone call today to the clinic was rather uncomfortable. I felt very judged and in someway it was like I was being scolded like I was a five your old child. I guess the morning coffee didn't kick in for some even though it was nearly noon. It's so much more than just the basic medical tests. It's the "How are you feeling?" And focus on overall health and wellness without judgment that keeps me coming backs.
