She's very gentle and won't do anything that hurts. Not only that but she really gets to know her clients likes and dislikes as far as massage techniques go and if she finds something that works well for a particular client she'll make a note of it in the client's chart so that she can remember what they like and what they don't like. For example with me she was rubbing my feet very gently and then she was rubbing my toes as she counted out loud 1-2-3-4-5 little piggies and that felt really good on my toes so she wrote that in my chart for next time so she remembers. She is able to identify and diagnose quickly and then seems to know exactly what to do. My first time I walked out thinking she had worked me hard and I was as sore as I had been when I entered, but WOW when I woke the next morning; No pain to move!!! BTW, she works out of a chiropractors office (phone above) and they can schedule for her, you do not need to see the chiropractor.

Back in the Providence days I saw many but Jenna was awesome and helped me so much. I've been with EG office as I've always lived in Coventry the whole time but love the selection of therapists that body kneads provides. I stumbled across Heidi a couple/few years ago at the EG location and honestly I don't know anyone who knows what I need more...not everyone is the same but pretty amazing talent resides here. She recommended Alanna to do some deep tissue work. Alanna was very professional and easy to communicate my needs with. She responded well to my requests for less or more pressure, and she spent good time working out other areas of strained muscle that she discovered on my back. I was walking home one afternoon from Supreme Court duty at the courthouse and saw a sign for massage. It has been quite a while since I had a massage and decided to give this spot a try. I made an appointment on line which is very convenient. A private parking lot is on the side of the building. My masseuse was not in house when I arrived but I was checked-in immediately and I waited in the office/wait area just inside the door. There are two rooms off the waiting/office area with work-out equipment, plus a locker room and restroom. The entire building looks and smells clean and looks to be in good condition. My masseuse arrived in time for my appointment. We went upstairs to a massage room where we had a brief consult about my expectations for the appointment. They were easy to chat with and shared their impressive credentials. I learned during my appointment that they are uncomfortable with clients who disrobe completely for a session and prefer that all clients retain their bottoms during the massage whether male or female. The techniques used during my treatment are very much in line with other massage treatments I have received. I would have preferred a bit more pressure and did not leave feeling like my knots had been addressed as I had hoped. After the treatment I was asked to purchase a package for multiple sessions, which I deferred. I was really hoping this would be my new 'go to' spot as I miss having a regular masseuse. The massage I received was good, but I don't feel personally it's a good fit for me. However, the staff are exceptionally well trained and know what they are doing. If you are looking to get in shape, lose weight or just need someone to work out your knots, I recommend you try this spot. It may be just what you are looking for.
