Tried a couple of main courses - seco de cordero (230 pesos) the lamb beautifully cooked, the seasoning just right, good rice and beans, and a nice red onion salad to accompany. Also one of my litmus tests, the chicharrón de pollo (150 pesos) or fried chicken, basically, and one of the better versions I've had in town, along with fantastic crisp surfaced, soft inside, roasted potatoes instead of the more common french fries. Yum. Worth the trip, and justifying it's already held position in our highly recommended Peruvian restaurants.

Overwhelmed but surprisingly good…read more This is a surprisingly authentic Japanese place in downtown Buenos Aires. It's got a lot of cool decorations inside, and even has an area with tatami mats (no shoes allowed, of course). The food itself is pretty solid. I had a katsu cutlet on a whim, which I found excellent. The service here is SLOW, so don't come in a rush. This place seems ever so slightly understaffed, such that service will be slow (even though everyone is seemingly working as fast as they can!).

My dad got the fried rice and that was okay too. Also was lacking in flavor. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant. There's a lot of Japanese themed decorations. Waiters were friendly. Also read this review with a grain of salt. I'm from Los Angeles so my taste are a little different.

We told the host we were just having cocktails and no food when he first spoke to us. We ended up getting seated at the sushi bar after a few minutes and we sat waiting at the sushi bar without menus or acknowledgement from a waiter for over 10 minutes which is unacceptable due to the amount of staff on hand that evening. We were getting angry and talking about another restaurant to go to when a couple left the bar, so we jumped up and moved over to the open seating at the cocktail bar. They offered a good selection of cocktails both signature and classic options, though most cocktails were around $300 pesos which surely had to do with the upscale ambiance of this place. My cocktail, the negroni pictured, was delicious as usual but there were a couple things we didn't love about the visit. The entire night I watched the bartender handle ice, garnishes for drinks, glasses, and tasting spoons with his bare hands, and never washed them once in the hour+ we sat at the bar. This was very off-putting to me, seeing the bartender reach into a container of orange slices, pull them out with bare hands, and THEN place them into tweezers before applying to the rim of the glass. THIS IS A GIANT RED FLAG. I liked the ambiance of this place but after our service, the prices, and the bartenders lack of food safety hygiene I absolutely would not be back.

Upon doing some research and asking around, this fee is for the bread and other miscellaneous items that make no sense. Is this even legal? Why is this not posted? Ambiance is nice, quiet and relaxing though. I would probably be back if they were more up front from the start. Regarding the service, it was good for the most part. Upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation and even though we didn't we got a table right away. The waiter though, was not attentive at all. He took forever to take our order, and then couldn't get his attention to get us our check. He seemed irritated and just made it very uncomfortable. I was having dinner with my fiancée so I tried to play it cool. Otherwise O would have asked for his manager.

They seem to run as a well oiled machine. However, I think it's a bit expensive for what it is, at the end of the day is pasta. Solid but nothing espectacular. I guess is a safe bet for a family get together which is mostly what you see in every table PS: Always famous argentinean Servicio de mesa (which I hate for every restaurant) is 55 per person.
