. . . It's actual a building with three floors and very clean. It is not so big. It is a tourist spot. I say a must-do, just to check it out and say visit it. The place is popular and people talk about it. It has souvenir stores, restaurants, candy stores, an ice cream shop, and other stores. It is colorful and clean inside. The entrance has a huge sign so it is easy to spot. This shopping center has a parking garage. What is convenient and great about parking is that is right across from the shops. The garage connects to the building with a walking bridge. The bridge was clean and colorful. A good place to take pictures. . . . I saw towards the back of the shops a bandshell. A nice area with chairs. I don't know if it's part of the shops but I just wanted to mention that if you keep walking towards the back there are more things to see. read more

Eh... this place is OK. A handful of decent restaurants and a few shops (2 or 3?). Not much else around. I love Bubba Gump Shrimp, Co., though, so that does salvage it a bit. It reminds me of Jacksonville Landing where the view of the water is better than the stuff inside the shopping center. Parking is across the street. read more

Looks good from the road but beware, it is not a good place for handicap or strollers. They have stairs or an escalator (which did not work when we went). Looks like it's falling apart and there is not much left there. We not to Johnny rockets which was an awful experience. The food was mediocre at best, they were not seating the whole restaurant because they were short staffed but even only having 2 tables the server never came back after we got it food. The milk shakes were really good but that was about it. We didn't even finish eating because the rude, loud, obnoxious people that came in were too much to deal with and the manager would not do anything about it. Also advertises they have a Cinema but yeah it's closed and looks like it has been for quite a while. read more

Ocean Walk Shoppes is a three-story shopping, dining and entertainment complex overlooking the Atlantic, a sort of mall turned inside-out. They have a number of chain restaurants, such as Adobe Gilas and Bubba Gum Shimp Co., as well as some shopping and the only movie theatre on the beachside. It overlooks the Daytona Bandshell, a historic seaside stage which features free concerts by local jazz and blues bands on weekends. The place is well lit, patrolled by security and is a far-cry from the seedier Main Street / Boardwalk area just south of there. Parking is in the garage across A1A; it's pretty cheap with validation. I can only give it three stars because I am starting to get tired of these nouveau redevelopment areas, which feature the same mall-like atmosphere in every city they invade. But that's just me. It's a decent place to spend an evening--the same evening you can spend anywhere else in this great consumer nation of ours. End rant. read more

We look forward to coming to bubba Gumps when coming to Daytona. This visit was good except my food. My son and his friend ordered crab legs and chicken tenders fries and coleslaw. We also got 2 appetizers. So far so good. I ordered the I'm Stuffed Shrimp and I crave this every year so I was excited to eat this and it was horrible it tasted so fishy I couldn't even finish it, and I've had the worst upset stomach since we have left. This is more about the restaurants and the movie theater. During the summer there are Saturday night concerts for free with fireworks. On some Friday's there are other free concerts. The "shops" are not really worth coming for. read more

The Shoppes looked really worthwhile, so we paid for parking and made our way over. It was very disappointing to find that MOST of the shops were closed. It was lunch time and it had sprinkled that morning but there were no weather warnings and yet it was a ghost town. We ate at Johnny Rockets and were not impressed with the service or food and the security guard was talking and smoking when we came until when we left creating a very unattractive smoke zone to avoid. The only good experience we had was with Cold Stone and the employees there. Other then the ice cream we had the feeling we were visiting a sad dying mall. NOT a good experience and I had to used Yelp this way because the office was locked up tight even thought he hours said someone should be there. read more

We recently visited here and stayed at the Wyndham Ocean Walk resort that is basically attached to this shopping/retail area. It is a multi-level mixed-use retail center. There are fun stores here such as Rocket Fizz and a souvenir shop. There are some restaurants here with Sloppy Joe being the only one we ate at. The exterior painting here is fun and bright. The parking here is my only complaint. To visit this area, you must park across the street at a parking garage that is not free. The walk seems far and even with handicapped parking, it is not a brief walk. The Ocean Walk is also beach front which leads to more hotels/resorts and the Daytona Boardwalk. read more

I would love to go back during the spring/summer time. As many times as I've visited Daytona I have been missing out on the Ocean Walk. This was a Sunday date drive for me and the hubby headed there for a specific restaurant that we don't have here in Jacksonville. I love all the different little shops right on the water. Lovely view of the ocean, I could sit in one of the spots and sip on adults juice for a while..I love adult juices :). The walk is 3 stories and on the second story is an a parking garage which is perfect. You park and walk across to the shops. After dinner we went into the candy shop. I was unable to do a review because currently the store isn't listed on Yelp but my husband and I were like kids in a candy store. Yes this was a candy store but the best part for me was seeing candies that I loved while living in Japan. That was the coolest for me. I'm looking forward to going back when the temps are much warmer. read more

Convenient location right in the beach and Starbucks right in the lobby. I'm staying here for safety reasons and some of the guests are nosy. Don't know why this place is called ocean walk shoppers...I walked in here and there's like full of restaurants and a few souvenir shops...this place has three floors...bottom floor has a few souvenir shops...second full of restaurants...third a movie theater...the movies were ten bucks watching it before noon is seven bucks each...I like the prices but didn't really watch a movie that time...every restaurants were full of people with long lines waiting to get in...I waited like an hour at sloppy joes ridicules... read more

I checked out a few shoppes after eating at Bubba Gump. Very pricey and not too much of a store selection.

Went on a Friday night not many people there in November. But there isn't much to do. There's a bubba shrimp which isn't saying much. The highlight was Cold Stone Creamery which is pretty sad. Honestly so depressing, dead with most of stores closed, and run down looking. read more

We had a great weekend in Daytona a couple weekends ago and spent most of the day on Saturday at Ocean Walk, which was outstanding. My flip flops had broken early in the day, and so we stopped by to grab some new ones. After we decided to grab a drink at the tiki bar and ended up sitting out by the bandshell enjoying the beautiful scenery and view for about 3 hours. Dinner at Bubba Gump and a movie to cap the night off. Ocean Walk had everything we needed for a great day at the beach, and put us right in the middle of the action! read more

This place is in the center of a slum-condition atmosphere, where bums walk around all day long. You have to pay an extensive amount of money to park, and once you park, everything at Ocean Walk is very expensive. There are unwanted kids that hang out all day long, trying to start trouble with tourists. This place is beautifully painted and could maybe turn into something decent if it wasn't in the part of the city that has been going under for years, I wouldn't go there for any reason except the beach, and even then, i wouldn't pay to park. read more

This is actually a nice looking place and SHOULD be more popular.... it's right on the ocean, has restaurants, shops, an upscale look. The boardwalk is a short walk. Anywhere but Daytona it would be crowded and quite popular. So you have to wonder...where is everyone???? I think there are several issues...one, there aren't many shops here - I think there's 4 restaurants, an ice cream store, a movie theater and a couple of souvenir shops. It seems somewhat abandoned/deserted. Not enough activities to justify the $8 to park in the parking garage. I can't imagine locals willing to make it a regular visit at that price. Which is a shame for the businesses there. If the owners read this...eliminate, lower or validate the parking fee, get some new stores and activities (maybe some kiosks/carts as well) and up the local marketing, maybe some coupons in local ads. Otherwise, I don't see much of a future for this location. read more

Ocean Walk is the best!! I love going here when I stay in Daytona. It's fun, vibrant, and has a a great atmosphere. They always have fun events going on. We always go to the movies there and get a bite to eat before or after. Mai Tai Bar is our favorite. They have a great happy hour! Also, can't leave without getting ice cream at ColdStone! It's a must. Ocean Walk is fun, entertaining, and convinient for people who are staying in Daytona. read more
