I later needed three large trees removed and got three pricings from different companies. Not only was Herrington the best price, one of the competitor said they could not beat them and suggest we use them. Herrington tree company is very professional and although a bit busy are great in communication and in responding to you. Unfortunately, with a large project, there was a bit of small damage done but Matt had compensated for that without question. I called Bloomhouse Landscape and Irrigation to obtain an estimate to replace 13 sprinkler heads. I was informed that the cost should not exceed $700, if the cost when above that, I would be informed before moving forward. I walked the ground with the two-man team to explain what I needed. The team lead recommended an additional sprinkler head in the back yard. I asked for the cost, and he stated that it should not exceed $100, so I agreed, thinking that the total cost would be around $800. Upon the finish, I walked the ground to check the sprinkler heads. I'm satisfied with the work and provided the lead person with $40 cash, a $20 bonus for each person. Later, I was informed that the bill was $1,881.83, over a $1,000 increase over the estimate. I paid with a check and three (3) days later I still don't have a receipt. I've called the office 3-4 times trying to obtain why the large increase in cost and for a receipt. Still no reply. I won't use this company for any work moving forward. Recommendation to other customers of this company, DO NOT start the work until you have the estimate in writing.
