The…read morefirst visit involved signing papers about service which the Nurse basically filled out and asked me to sign on the bottom line. He got upset when I insisted I wanted to read what I was signing. I had a difficult time reading his writing and when he told me what he wrote, I did not agree with. I had to ask him for his ID as he did not have proof on his person of who he was. Then setting up a follow-up appointment I wanted one first thing in the am and he told me that it did not work that way. I then decided that this service was doing nothing for me but forcing me to wait on them to arrive for the appointment time they dictated. They usually arrived late, which I really dislike. I decided I did not want them to come to my home again to simply take my temp, BP and oxygen level followed by signing a ipad indicating they were at my house. I called the main office and told them that I did not want or need their service any longer but because they seemed to want to bill Medicare one last time they insisted that I had to sign a release form. I actually know that is not actually true because I had one of these home health care services earlier this year and did not have to officially sign a release form. All they want to do is create an income stream billing to Medicare. The initial concept though may be good as upon release from the hospital and getting home, if I had an issue, I would have had direct access to a nurse.

Several times we were sent aides that barely spoke English... sat around on their phones... took my mother to her appointments mostly on time.. But I was informed by the nurses that the aides brought my mother sometimes 1.5 hours late to her appointments... and I was never notified... The nurses also gave aide information... that was never passed on to me.. her daughter.. Two weeks after we stopped using the agency, I'm still finding out things, the aide was given information regarding scheduling a pet scan...and that was never done.. The doctor was upset that the pet scan was never ordered... I never knew about it.. Very incompetent home health aides... Could never get same aides, Buyer Beware... I would not recommend them to anyone.
