She was seen in the emergency room and later she was admitted to a rehabilitation center for physical and occupational therapy. During her first night in the rehab center, she experienced severe delirium, and the staff asked whether I could return to sit with her, even though I had just left a few hours earlier. I called Visiting Angels at 7:00 p.m., and they arranged overnight support for her that same evening. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and compassion gave me peace of mind during a extremely stressful time. Every caregiver they send is well-trained, respectful, and helpful, and the office staff is always pleasant, organized, and easy to reach. Since Kathy returned home , the scheduling has been reliable, the pricing has been reasonable, and the quality of care has been excellent. I am very grateful for the support Visiting Angels has provided to Kathy and our family, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of dependable in-home care. Over the last six months, Kathy continues to improve, but I have become dependent upon Visiting Angels as I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Kathy and I are very happy with their help and support. Once again, Kathy and I highly recommend Visiting Angels Treasure Coast FL.

Dad can stay in home and not ever have to go back to the understaffed assisted living facilities in our area.

Personal Discharge Review - HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital zRoom 211…read more I was discharged from HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie after receiving only one unit of blood, although I have previously required three units during past transfusions. The doctor who discharged me told me that my labs looked good, even though I was still experiencing symptoms like throbbing palpitations in my head and insomnia. These symptoms had partially subsided but were still present at the time of discharge. However, the name listed on my discharge paperwork is that of the ER DR. NOT The Dr who discharged me! Because my symptoms continued, I followed up with labs at Quest Diagnostics, which showed that my hemoglobin remained low, contradicting what I was told at the hospital. I am now preparing to go to a different emergency room due to these ongoing issues.
