A doctor there messed my foot up very bad and I am not going to copy and paste the damage he has caused me mentally, physically and emotionally. He admitted to moving my metatarsal over to far and It is so bad and so ugly. He also gave me a 6 inch scar when I was suppose to two small incision. He has changed my life FOREVER! I think about dying everyday and I have to take Spravato treatments for suicidal thoughts, chronic depression and emotionally destroyed. The surgery was a trigger that opened up many other tucked away things from the past so I am under the care of 3 different doctors just trying to help me in wanting to stay alive. I recently had a ER visit and the nurse told me I had to ask to go to the bathroom, stood in front of me and told me she would lay me out flat and told me I was not going to the bathroom without asking that I put myself there and she would whip my ass. When I told her I was not going to ask to go to the bathroom she stood in front of me with her arms crossed and said, ask to go I don't want this to get ugly because I will win. She then told the girl Brittany to switch places with her so she can keep me in line and then she look at me and said, yeah that's right now try me.

In the examination room a nurse asked me my birthdate, I was taken to x-ray and asked again when I saw the doctor he asked me my birthdate and ordered a culture so another nurse came in and asked me my birthdate. That's five people including the doctor who asked me my birthdate. I go to CVS to pick up the prescription he ordered and they told me that my insurance wouldn't pay for it because the doctors office had entered the wrong birthdate. I had to go back to the clinic and give the receptionist my drivers license and birthdate again so they could resubmit the prescription. As of today I still haven't received any test results from the culture in my chart. I've tried calling the office and couldn't get anyone to answer. Very frustrating.

We called ahead to make sure they saw toddlers, and accepted our out of state insurance (they did!) I also appreciated that we could get on the wait list online, however, it ended up not being super busy (Monday early afternoon). All the staff we encountered were friendly, polite and helpful. She saw an NP, Micah L. They were efficient in running some tests for her, which revealed she was positive for RSV. Meds were sent to pharmacy quickly. We're thankful he recognized her symptoms and knew which tests to run, to get her quickly diagnosed, and medicated. They even gave her a lollipop on the way out. I would definitely recommend this place.

All the NP wanted to do was flu and covid tests, (no symptoms of either of these) and chest x-rays. I went in to begin with for antibiotics which were refused by the NP because I wouldn't do a chest x-ray. Her attitude because I refused all the expensive diagnostic tests was horrible. She acted like I was asking for Heroin. I am 68 yrs old, very healthy usually and selfpay except for Medicare and was not willing to pay out several hundreds or thousands for tests that were unnecessary to treat this condition. My regular Dr was out yesterday and today which is the only reason I even went there in the first place. I will not make that mistake again! I would have to be unconscious to go there for any reason after this experience. You are better off at the emergency room at Oschner.
