On a recent trip to LA I ended up in Thibodaux La ., sicker then a dog. Went to MHM Urgent Care. In just a few short minutes they had me checked took my insurance "Thank God" The Dr. was with me in just a few short minutes diagnosed me with food poisoning. One star for wait time only because I can't leave it blank. When I checked in at the desk there were quite a few people in the waiting area, so, like the others, I sat and waited. To my somewhat relief there were a few people that weren't patients but there waiting for someone who was. BUT, after a long while, I noticed that there was a woman who was called to the back who had checked in AFTER me. First I thought...maybe they take appointments. Then, a few minutes later as I was talking to a couple who I knew and that had checked in about 45 minutes AFTER me, they too were called to the back. That didn't sit very well with me so I went to the desk to ask if i had been forgotten. The receptionist simply replied "you're next". "How can that be" I asked, and she just simply repeated "you're next". No explanation as to why. I said "it's not at all fair" and more than a few people heard me. When I was finally called, I had been waiting for just about 1-1/2 hours. I went to the back and right away the nurse apologized for the error done at the desk. They couldn't explain why either. I went over my medications with the nurse in the computer and told him what I was no longer taking and what I was now taking. That done he put me in a room and assured that the DR. would be here shortly. Would you have thought that I would be in that room for an additional 45 minutes. I certainly didn't. If I had I not been feeling so bad and been there so long; I would have left. Finally Ray Campo, NP walked in and also apologized for the wait. He on the other hand listened to my problem(s) and prescribed the medicines and an injection. When I went back to the front desk, there she was again with a very straight face (she was not apologetic and just asked me if I was alright). I told her I'll be OK. While I was putting my jacket on and waiting for her to collect my fee, she got up from the desk and walked toward the back. The rest of the staff wished me a Merry Christmas from the open door where I could see them all and I bid them the same. With the exception of Ray Campo, NP who treated me, the time there was a complete bumble. This Urgent Care facility is completely understaffed with doctors and/or practitioners, especially weekends and during the cold and flu season. I believe my approximate time there was like 2-1/2 hours or more. That is completely inexcusable for a place called URGENT CARE. Incidentally, I was not charged at check-in time (which I found unusual), and was not charged at check-out, I guess because the receptionist got up and walked to the back, she didn't want to have to face me again. It's alright with me because I left. After getting home and going over the paperwork I noticed that all of the medications I had gone over with the nurse on the computer was still on file. He didn't make any changes at all. This is insane. read more

I came to this urgent care last week some time. Kristen at the front desk was pleasant upon arrival. She got me in real quick and before I could even sit down Erin came get me to pull me to the back, and she was wonderful also. I saw doctor Crochet and she was very helpful with providing me good care. My total appointment literally took 15 minutes at the max. I did not feel rushed at all because everyone was so pleasant. I was a little skeptical at first because I did not have a good experience at another Ochsner urgent care but I was totally amazed on how everyone took good care of me. All they care about is seeing your insurance card and not you just like any other doctor. money becomes the patient from the insurance.

The doctor that I saw, John King, was rude from the second that I walked into the Urgent Care. He was yelling at his staff while having a very audible phone argument with who I would think is a patient. He completely wrote off everything that I said in the appointment. I was left with no clarity and I'm going to have to go to another urgent care. The nurses and rest of the staff was very nice but I would not recommend going here to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor who is considerate and professional. read more

The nurse upfront was extremely rude and makes her patients feel not welcomed. I was waiting on my friend and the way she was treating my friend was uncalled for and inappropriate. It's just not a very friendly environment. read more

I've had issues with this urgent care previously and had stopped seeing them even though it's the closest to where we live. Decided to give them one more shot. I called to see if an appointment was needed for a child's school physical and was told no that we could walk in at anytime. When we get there we were told there were no more appointments for physicals for the day. I explained to the receptionist that I called to make sure that wasn't the case because we are from out of town.. she said "sorry I don't know what to tell you we are full for the day and I just let the call service know." I again explained that per our phone conversation there was no appointment necessary was there any way we could be seen. She said nope. No appointments for today. Never again. I drove over an hour out the way after this unpleasant visit to another urgent where the service was great and I will do it again every single time bc I won't give them a dime or a chance again. It was also $10 cheaper and we were in an out bc all she needed was a physical. read more
