The…read moreonly problem we had today was that the staff didn't give us any status of the waiting period. We checked-in at 10:55am and still waiting to see the doctor. The time is 1:34pm right now. Knowing the 'waiting' status always helps. The lack of this customer/patient service is why I'm giving this clinic 1 Star or a negative 50.

Unfortunately, my husband had a very poor experience seeing one of the providers here (specifically…read moreDr. Fortier), and was actually sent a letter saying that they would not treat him in the future. In all fairness, with an experience like that, I had no intention of visiting this clinic for myself, or our children at any point in the future, because of this poor experience. However, my mother recently was admitted to the hospital on a few occasions, but her provider does not do hospital rounds. The family Dr. clinic has a contract with her provider to perform rounds so I was naturally quite concerned about who would check on her. Dr. Robichaux checked in on her during her stay, and he was kind, informative, and I do not have a single negative comment to say about him. She was also visited by Dr. Templet, who my mother said was "very nice" to her. I do believe that of all of the providers at this clinic, some are going to be good, and others are to be avoided at all costs. Reading through the reviews I am confused by positive reviews for some of the providers. I can only assume that if you are a regular patient, you will have different treatment than those who are there to begin a new journey or to simply have occasional care. If this is the only clinic that your insurance will cover, I completely understand, but I hope that you get one of the better providers on a good day. Overall, my opinion of this clinic has only been solidified in the past few years, and that is to stay away if it all possible.
