The personal attention given by Billy Hendrix to ensure our wishes were carried out was above and beyond expectations. We were very pleased with the service we received. Clif Mullis was accommodating in arranging the reception for our friends and loved ones. The personal attention to detail allowed the family to be involved in planning the celebration of life service. The final tribute to my mother was a true reflection of her life and provided much comfort to the family. I could not agree more with the negative reviews of Lord & Stephens funeral home. There is an…read moreassociate named Jordan who does not follow-up when assured. Jordan never sent an itemized list of services when requested. I called later and was told someone would return my call. No one did. When I picked up the death certificate, the staff were so unfriendly, if you can imagine during this time. Lord & Stephens is required to send the death certificate notice to the Social Security office. They did not. I spoke to Jason Wommack, the funeral director who lied and said they did. The Social Security office said they did not. Jason Wommack does not take accountability and responsibility. They seem more interested in profits than actually doing their job. The services are highly incompetent and unprofessional. I would not recommend.

A relative called about our loved one and they didn't even have the name correct. On the obituary listing they had the middle name misspelled and it's still misspelled in the content even after notification. During the procession an uber/lyft driver drove within the procession due to the lack of police escort which should've been provided by Lord & $tephen$. Also I don't think our loved one was 'prepared' well. In the future I would patronize Lawson Funeral Home in Hoschton Georgia or Evans Funeral Home in Jefferson GA. Lord & $tephen$ needs to pay more attention to details.
