First off the funeral home took almost two weeks to cremate my mother! they said it would take 72 hours. When we did hear back from them it wasn't even to pick her cremains up. It was for the death certificate. After several shady calls and dealings with their secretary, and having to go out there twice, we finally got what we can only HOPE are the ashes of our mother, we really aren't sure. Then they messed up the death certificate and when we called to get them to fix it, the secretary was incredibly rude to my sister and almost hung up on her. I am flabbergasted by the treatment we've received and in shock that this place is still in business. If you value your loved one and your own peace of mind, I would not recommend this funeral home.

When they answered, the lady didn't have an answer so she put the owner on the phone. HE WAS A COMPLETE JERK! He asked why I was having a "hissy fit" over 15 minutes? I honestly didn't care about the fifteen minutes, I just wanted to know when (approximately) they were going to be here so I could get some things done. But since he was such a JERK, I cancelled the appointment. I HOPE ANYONE READING THIS TAKES THEIR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. There is no reason for a business to speak to a customer this way.

I used specialists from Christopher's Bridge (CB) to provide home hospice care for my spouse for…read moreabout 2 months before she passed. CB provided care 18-21 hours/day. The daytime caregivers provided outstanding care and seemlessly blended into home life, providing me and other family members with needed breaks. We also had the same caregivers during the day and evening. They communicated with me and my spouse clearly, professionally and compassionately and attended to her needs with sensitivity and dignity. The night care was good but more inconsistent especially during weekends and inclement winter weather. I did not realize that the care CB provided was not covered by our insurance and it is expensive but well worth the cost. My spouse was able to stay at home throughout.

Be careful, very careful when renting a van from Custom Mobility. You would be wise to obtain…read morewritten confirmation of fees. In our situation, we elected to have the van delivered. We are 41 miles away. Their website states that delivery within 50 miles is $50 each way. I was informed at the time of our rental that the website is incorrect and delivery was $1.25 per mile each way. However, the actual charge was $3.00 per mile each way which amounted to $246 instead of the $102 I expected. Had I been quoted this amount at the time of rental, I would have made different arrangements to pick up the van. In a phone call made when reviewing the bill, I was told that there was no adjustment that could be made. Life for those who need this type of vehicle is difficult enough without having to do business with those who take advantage of the disabled community. Shame on you Custom Mobility.
