No Longer Have Experienced Peope I had used Octa Logo a few years ago to help prepare a Rotating Image I had designed for our Consortium Website. Although it took far longer to instill what the end product required, I persisted with repeating what had to occur to complete what was first explained. In the end we had exactly what was asked and we were able to apply it to the website our IT department built. Last September, I contacted Octa Logo to merely change the Corporate Identity of the rotating image for a new Website we were building for an additional company. I was told it would be easily handled and a draft sent to me within "48 Hours". Seemed to be a rational amount of time as an experienced tech should have it done in no more than 1.5 - 2 hours. I was quoted just over $400 which, seemed a little high but worth still definitely worth it. While we were about to process the fee, it was suggested that for an additional $500 I could also "Register" the new rotating image to ensure no one else would be able to use our product. I told them let's first see/recieve a satisfactory rotating image prior to investing an additional funds. They agreed and started working on the image. From that point forward everything became extremely frustrating as the task was passed onto no less than 4 people; each person never recieving any instructions as to what was required (remember, this company had the original rotating image on file). It was beyond rediculous as I had initially contacted them in early September 2024. I fielded endless emails and constant phone calls including during my 1 week holiday to San Diego area with my wife. Recent calls to the company numbers find number not accepting calls. I will assume that they are shut down at this time. Far more than the loss of $400 is the months of calls and emails trying to get a simple task completed. Many of the staff who were obviously new and not fully up to speed were definitely curteous on both phone calls and emails however, the simple task was not addressed. I originally spoke to a rep on the phone about designing an advertising hoodie for me to wear to promote my business. On Aug 31st. I was told there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee. So I sent them $200. They started designs and went back and forth with me over email until we agreed upon a finished product to be sent to me. Then on Oct 5th we had a final correspondence about adding additional hoodies to be sent and sent them an additional $200 for $400 total. I awaited delivery and never received anything. On Oct 17th and the 18th I asked them where my products were. They responded with this message, "Due to overload of orders, unfortunately we will not be able to cater your request therefore, we will refund the amount charge for the Hoodies which is $300/-. We apologize for the inconvenience." I told them I wanted back the FULL $400 because they canceled my order and i never received the finished product. They told me that they were not going to refund the full amount because they had to design the hoodie first. They disagreed so I disputed the transactions with my credit card company. read more

Was going to use Octa animation for an animated video. They were nice and all and even did a short sample for me to see, but it wasn't great or what I was looking for. Also, I had read the reviews on Octa Logo and, although octa animation try to say they are not the same company, a little research proves they are owned by the same entity. Then, I called a company called designproficient for a website and felt that the sales pitch, particularly odd foreign accents and supposed business location (SF) was very similar to that of Octa animations. I again asked them if they were associated and was emphatically told me NO! A reviewer on another site, however, stated that design proficient is indeed also owned by the same company/owner. I had done my due diligence regarding the animation and tried calling companies in Octa's portfolio ( they send private links). No response from most of the companies, but one responded that Octa had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of their video! I think design proficient is doing this also (providing samples of websites they haven't created) as they sent me a number of websites, some of large and established companies, that I would guess they didn't design. One lady I contacted had worked with Octa animations for a video and she was satisfied with their work. Said the result was fine, she just had to stay on them to produce. NO NO NO! These idiots jacked up my website and tried to get me to pay them $300 dollars to fix what they destroyed! Hell no!

They had big promises and under delivered. They had sent over a test video of this really cool Tennis animation with amazing textures and wonderful camera work. Just to be sure, I had asked what they specifically had to do with that video, and they confirmed they did the animations and camera work. So, I had a good feeling. We then pulled the trigger on two animations and were promised a 4-week deadline (that we had to pay extra for and all up front). It wasn't until the 4 weeks ended had I even received the first revision of the videos. So, they gave me a first draft, not a final vid, at the promise date of delivery. Not only that, but the quality was nowhere near their sample videos. Giving them 4 revisions and 3 more months to work on it and it still is just.... okay. Not great. Not stellar. Communication was spotty. They would constantly say "within the week" or "next week" and would always be late (it would normally be the week after) so I had to consistently reach out to them to figure out where these videos were. It took them almost a full month (From 2/18 - 3/16) for a video to be revised. Yes, they had to do a lot of work on that revision, but it's only because they did not pay attention to the brief in the first place. It was a common problem where I would give them edits and I had to repeat myself so they would understand. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review and I wasn't harsh or mean during the process. I can say I will not be using Octa ever again, nor will I suggest them to anyone. read more

Unfortunately, this was not the case, our website is no longer functional and there were more payment requests with different guarantees. Needless to say, it is tiresome dealing with Octalogo when they continually call to tell you they've encountered a problem, and need more money to fix it. Our logo was somewhat of a good thing that came of this. However, Octalogo had no design recommendations and we drew the logo for them. After multiple attempts to correct it, we are still having issues with the vector format, as colors are missing if you try to put it on a tshirt, sticker, etc. We would like our money back! read more

Octa Logo has numerous "front companies" with bogus addresses in multiple cities. One of their "affiliates" has the address of a bank in Nigeria, but they are very well likely run from India. This company is a total scam. The employees utilize fake names like "John Daniels, Charlie Stevens, and Paul Howard." They claim to be based in many different cities across the United States, but this is a mechanism to avoid lawsuits. One on-line sleuth actually made a YouTube video detailing the extent of Octa Logo scams, bait-and-switch tactics, outright theft, and refusal to complete the services they promise. When I called them back, they demanded more money to start the work again and stated that this was detailed on their "Octa Logo Terms and Conditions" page. The issue is that I called a number associated with one of their front companies (they have so many) AKA designsutility.com, but in any case, there was no "Terms and Conditions" page associated with one of their portal websites selling their services, and I paid over the phone. I simply saw the phone number in a Google search return, did not click on the link and called the number. The prices seemed reasonable, so I never clicked on the link and made an agreement over the phone. Designs Utility is actually an entry-way to accounts for those having website designs done, and there is no info regarding the company, just entry fields for usernames and passwords. I discovered that months later. Only after researching the portal front company Designs Utility, was I able to determine that I had been engaged in business with Octa Logo. There was nothing on the portal website to indicate that they were a "subsidiary" (AKA "Scam Front Company) of Octa Logo. Even after their "designated completion time-frame" had expired, I was still receiving e-mails from Design Utility in regards to completing the website. At no point in time was I told by any employees over the phone, or in an e-mail, that the portal site (with no terms and conditions page) was an Octa Logo company OR that there was a time limitation for website completion with respect to the customer, who would be required to pay a "penalty fee" to have the already-paid-for work completed. The person handling the design project goes by the name "Ally Shaw." All attempts to resolve the situation with him were met with rude responses. Subsequently, calls to customer service were never responded to with a return call as promised (at least ten inbound calls to them), and my verbal interface with them was met with foul language and threats of being sued. They consistently used the excuse that the "terms and conditions" are clearly explained on the Octa Logo website, even though I had no idea that I was having the "parent company" doing the design work. Also, I was never sent a receipt, nor was I ever sent the "terms and conditions" subsequent to my payment. Furthermore, we agreed on a set amount and they over-charged me by several hundred dollars, which required me calling them back, to reverse the over-charge. Present status: They refused to complete the website, my password no longer works and they are demanding more money to complete the now-gone work that had already been completed. CAVEAT EMPTOR. Buyer beware. These are not good people and they engage in deceptive practices, deceiving their clientele and then becoming aggressive when questioned about their bait and switch tactics. read more

After I posted my initial review, I have had two more interactions with Octa Logo. So initially it was very hard to get help until I asked to speak to a supervisor I was transferred and had Mark Simmons help me with my issue. Mark was able to resolve my issue within two hours of our conversation, as he promised. I am having one more issue with my website that I am hoping to get resolved just as quickly. Emailed the Octa Logo about it this morning and now I am waiting for a reply. So as of right now, I would have to say that Octa Logo is a good company for its price. If you ever have any issues with their staff just ask for a supervisor, they are much more knowledgeable and can usually resolve most issues quickly. In conclusion, I give this company: 5/5 on price 4/5 on design 3/5 on service just because it did take me some time to reach a knowledgeable person that was able to resolve my issues. read more
