If you're considering doing business with this company, I highly advise to look somewhere else. This is by far the worst company ever created and they are scammers with no ethical policies and I plan to sue this company in the future for $1,000 if they do not refund me due a horrible customer experience, a dysfunctional website, and never receiving my logo that was simple and basic after they created it. It has been an entire year for them to create a website for me and I have created a review almost a year ago about the horrible service and conduct of their rude employees, and I was assured that all my problems would be resolved if I deleted my review, however I was sold a bunch of lies from Jerry who is the supervisor of Octalogo, and was given a horrible website that I can't even get mobile optimized or get issues resolved due to their horrible coding! I contacted Octalogo in November of 2017 to create a website for my magazine and for them to design a logo. I was told that for a $999 we would be able to get our website designed and get a logo created. Little did I know that during the process of creating the website they would constantly be trying to upsell and adding on additional fees to have essential items such as mobile optimization and putting our written verbiage on the website. Every time I spoke to my then Project Manager, Ferris Marvin, he annoyingly upselled and fluctuated his prices to add essential things to our website. No one told me that the 1000$ I paid would not cover everything we needed. It was so hard for me and my business partner to come up with that money and they did a horrible job at letting us know that and we had to delay our job to pay. The initial 1k we had to pay we agreed to pay over time by the end of Dec 2017 because we didn't have all the money upfront. One time, I had scheduled a payment of 150, but had to cancel the payment because some things came up. Ferris Marvin refused to cancel my payment and started acting very ignorant over the phone and refused to give me my money back. The payment withdrew from my bank account causing my account to go into the negative. This is when I created my first review of this horrible company because they refused to cancel a payment arrangement, and I was later contacted by Jerry who told me to take down the review and that Ferris Marvin's conduct was unacceptable and that he no longer works there. I agreed to take down the review after this conversation. At first Jerry was very cooperative with us and seemed to really care, stating that he would personally oversee our account. We had a final payment of $150 to pay to complete the website's initial cost. However, me and my business partner just couldn't come up with that. So we told Jerry to put our project on hold until we could. Fast forward 6 months, we finally paid the last $150 to complete the website and go live. I am thinking everything would be fine. We had a new project manager by the name of Ryan. I told him to withdraw the final payment of $150 for our website, but instead he charged me $300. He contacted me saying that it was a mistake, and that I would receive a refund. This charge over drafted my account and made me go into the negative. He told me that it would take a 2-5 business days to receive a refund. Because I had bills to pay, I had dispute the charge with my bank to get a temporary credit. After a week went by no money was refunded and I called in to get a status update on both my website and my refund. Ryan tried to upsell me telling me that my website is being worked on but it won't be able to be used on cellphones and that it would cost $150 to due to the mobile optimization. He told me that he could just use the 150 he was supposed to refund to go towards that since it hasn't went through yet. I became angry because my money was supposed to be refunded and he didn't even process the refund yet but instead tried to upsell. I told him im not paying for that because it should have been included and that he need to give me my money back now. Ryan then told me that because I disputed the charge with my bank they can't refund my money because the bank took 150 from there account. I have never in my life heard from a company that they couldn't refund my money during my dispute and that i would have to cancel the dispute before they could refund me. This caused me to get very upset and cursing him out because now the bank would have to take their temporary credit back making me go into the negative again just to wait another week for them to refund me. Ryan told me he would be able to refund me immediately once I call the bank, which made me skeptical because they should've did that in the first place. Unfortunately I called my bank to cancel the dispute, they took their credit back, and then I called octa logo. My first written review of any kind and I'm going to hit every customer review site I can find. I have never seen a F rating with the Better Business Bureau before but that's what they have and for good reason. DON'T give these scammers your CC. They promise a 100% money back guarantee for any reason at any time. They cobble a unprofessional mock up and start asking for more money. When you try to back out they say "fat chance". It's a call center in India. They forgot to mute the call at one point. My bank backed me up eventually when I showed them the email I made them send me with the above guarantee. They didn't even hesitate to say WHATEVER they had to to get my CC #. They wasted a bunch of my time so I will now make it my new hobby to tell the truth to anyone that wants to know that these lowlifes are out there stealing from good people that are trying to advance there business. I would not recommend this company to anyway. I paid for a logo design and copyrighting of the logo. The logos drafted were pretty terrible and the take money for filing for copyright that they never submit. Trying to contact them is a joke but when they want to take your money they harass you. Not even kidding when I first starting working with them, my phone would ring none stop until they broke me down to use them. Review Update: Octalogo representative emailed me saying "Please stop defaming us" and writing very unprofessional (that's what they do best) but I replied providing all the evidence showing that I was a customer and I was scammed by them. Then a manager contacted me and promised me they will send me the trade mark/ copy right certificate of my logo showing me as the owner considering I was the one who design it, however, I never received the certificate from them because once again they lied. CUSTOMERS PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM OCTALOGO. SCAM!!!!!!!!! You can search their name to see how many customers are having the same bad scam experience. I can provide names and all those OctaLogo Reps that were part of the SCAM. Initial Review: I paid for a logo package to make my logo idea in the required format for marketing materials (I sent the logo design idea that I created to them trusting they were honest). I was very engage with them and even made the edits of the design myself (in power point) to make the process easier and they only needed to make the changes in their logo design software/photoshop. All the logo idea was mine from start to finish. While working on this, they charged my credit card $280 without my authorization and when I told them I placed a fraud claim with my bank they quickly replied they will reimburse and to please inform my bank to close out the investigation. After this my trust continued to go down the hill so at this point I decided to contact USPTO to do the copyrights/trademark registration instead of working that portion with them (Octa Logo / OctaGroup), however at the end when I got my final product they wanted to charge me $300 for copyrights services and threaten me saying they will open a legal case against me ignoring the logo was all my idea and not theirs. Do not trust this company. They will take your idea/design and make it theirs to then try to charge you and make money out of it. Sometimes if something looks to good or too cheap, is for something bad, is a scam and is not legit. Please know that OctaLogo and DesignProficient work hand to hand based on what the OctaLogo rep told me. He contacted me after I accessed OctaLogo website and I got confused because he was under a different company name but he explained to me that both companies are the same and that's why both pages (OCTALOGO AND DESIGNPROFICIENT) have actually the same logo packages. You can visit their pages and see it for yourself unless they modified their page to cover themselves which is what they do best. Absolutely awful work. I had an unnecessarily long phone call with the project manager when I first hired them, explained everything I needed for a logo, then he made me fill out a superfluous form and write another explanation paragraph, and after all that, they promised forty eight hours...hah! I ordered Wednesday, they gave them to me Friday night at 8 so that when I looked at the designs and was dissatisfied, they were of course out of the office until Monday. Monday I expressed my absolute disgust at the amateur-ish designs that completely disregarded my requests, so they promised to do another set in 24 hours. WEDNESDAY at 11 pm Houston time they gave me more designs...again, they looked like a seven year old had made them in Microsoft Paint. Outrageous. After all that I had to make my own logo. I was thoroughly disappointed with Octa Logo. After the initial consult to go over the details of the design I wanted I sent them a few examples. The first few mock-ups they sent were something I could have done myself and NOT close to the samples I sent them. After much back and forth I decided to cut my losses and decided to trash the final logo. During this entire process you can expect high pressure (annoying) sales tactics with product offerings, copy-write, stationary and other products/services. At one point they suggested having them create a website for me and showed me what they called my competition... the ones sent were from DIFFERENT COUNTRIES! Not even close to my competition. They don't even deserve a star, their logos are so basics, very amateur look, after several failed attempts I give them some specific examples of how do I want my logos and then they pretending never received my files and they make me send it again, over and over 3 times, in the end they give me a alternative e-mail address to send those examples... AGAIN!. After that they keep sending me awful logos so I went directly to claim my money back, and 2 weeks has been pass and I didn't get any money refund from them yet, today I contact them again and they contradicted me several times telling me money refund process take 4-5 business days and is going on time. Wow, Where do I begin....I had initially paid them to create a website for me and cost me a looot of money...Suddenly it was "hacked" and all of a sudden I was required to pay for a SSL certificate that I did not even need. I had the rights to edit my website how I wanted then all of a sudden that page was blocked and they even told me that they took away my access to the website that I paid for.....ridiculous... I got nowhere with their support, and just kept going in circles with no solution, all they wanted was to charge me for services that I didn't need and offered no help what so ever. This Company is part of the Octagroup of companies and is basically all the same team of people working around the world. so although this is related to the UK business its basically the same company. So when we decided to invest in an e-commerce website we contacted Octa Logo / Logo Royale and in fairness to them they were extremely quick to respond. The first task was to come up with a couple of logo's for us, this was extremely quick and if you don't know any different I guess this was a not-too-bad service, since then we have used freelancer.com and had much better results for far less. We started on the design of the website November 2017 and all I can liken the entire experience to is that of extracting ones own teeth without any anaesthetic!!! Every step was seen as an opportunity to extract more money from us, so the initial GBP 1,100 Platinum Customised e-commerce website quickly grew, with things like, GDRP compliance, SSL Certificates, Lifelong Hosting, security add-ons, additional, this, additional that. In the end we ended up spending well over GBP 3,800.00 but once your committed, your committed as they say. We bought everything, the entire dream, thinking the next purchase may get them kickstarted into working on our project. We got the website finished October this year, so 11 months later and even since we have had issues for which we commissioned a freelancer to repair. In the end we have ended up with an OK website, but I don't think it will win any awards, that's for sure, have removed the website from their controlled server and waved goodbye to all the additional monies spent for services we never received. The main issue is that they lie, they lie about being based in the UK, lie about their capabilities, even the reviews on their own websites are fake. LR mascaraed as a UK based business, with a UK Number and UK Address, this was one of the main reasons we chose them, easy; same language communication, same time Zone and UK codes of practice designed to protect consumers, oh how wrong we were! The telephone number is provided by a company who specialize in call forwarding, the office is a virtual office. You are assigned a project Manager who's grasp of the English language is extremely poor, when you call through to them its clear its some sort of call centre based in Asia somewhere as all you can here in the background are people shouting in Hindi. One of their own employees admitted this to me one day on the phone but begged me not to tell anyone as he may lose his job, so his name will remain nameless. We have further proof of this as when you login to the project management system you can see that the internal communication is in Hindi. They seem also not to work UK business hours, we could very rarely get hold of anyone much before 11am UK time, however they seemed to be available until late in the evenings, leading us to believe that wherever they were based they were working USA eastern time working hours more than UK hours. Our Credit card payments were made to a business based in New York state called IELTS and has no relevance to Logo Royale. They have many, many websites all offering the same service in the USA, Australia and the UK, I have a complete list of these companies should this be called into question. I have factual evidence that will support the following facts: Octa Logo / Logo Royale is not a UK registered business, LR state they are subsidiary of Octagroup of Companies and they trade under a company known as Orbit Solutions Ltd, Orbit Solutions Ltd are in fact registered in the UK, and this business is registered to an Indian National. None of this information is confidential, it was given feely by LR and is available on the UK Company register, however you will not find any reference to Logo Royale or Octa Logo on any company register in the UK. We spent thousands and thousands of pounds and they will still try to rip you off, the straw that broke the camel's back for me was when we were asked for a further GBP 2,500.00 to "copyright" the website, if we didn't they couldn't "guarantee the safety of the site"!! We obviously engaged a legal expert who stated don't bother, oh yes and incidentally the only email acknowledgement we ever received for our monies paid actually included "lifetime copyright registration", one of many things we paid for and never received. At no stage have we been given any receipt for any of the services provided despite several requests. these people are extremely sketchy. As soon as you get on their website they start their harassment in a chat. i entered my email and phone number to sign in, instantly received a call from them...chat name says "Jason" the man called me said his name was Jason at first than later his name was Steven. He kept calling my line and messaging me in the chat if you dont reply in their chat well they wont STOP. i was even offered 15% off to reply to them. They even ask if they can call you. Anyways i answered listened for a bit and said i will consult my partner first. steven or jason said well this is only a limited time deal we dont have time just do it now and consult after cause i cant guarantee and was just extremely pushy to the point i had just hung up due to how annoying he was. he continued to call then went on to sending me EMAILS after i told him not to email me either. He called me yet again and i was so mad i answered and said please stop calling me if you're a legitimate business you wouldn't be harassing people like this. he apologizes and said i thought you told me to call you back and i said i definitely did not so stop it because you seem like a scam. oh and did i mention i had called the number back and the background noise was highly suspicious as well. sounded like an apartment building with people just hanging out watching tv and laughing..strange!.so anyways now i receive yet another email apologizing and saying god bless you..just sounds like a total scam read more

Unfortunately at the time I was not making sound desicions. They has done the logo for me, and nothing else. From speaking with their representative, and reading their webpage, a logo costs from $39 to $300. I informed them a few days later after the logo was done, that I needed my money back as my decision was not sound. I said I would agree to pay the maximum for the logo $300.00, and that I would like to have the $499.00 from balance of the $799.00 returned as they never did complete the job. The salesmen have continually lied, lied, lied about returning my money since August, 2017, to present. They have said, "What's your address? The money won't be coming right away, but it's coming". Nothing came. Other sales staff said, "Oh, we'll have a meeting about it, and call you back. No return calls. I am seeking legal counsel, and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau's as of this date February 10, 2018. I HAVE READ REPORTS BEFORE THAT THEY ARE DISHONEST. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH "Octalogo ". I just got scammed for $5000. There's these "project manager" guys who goes by "NICK WATSON" and "FERRIS" who has pakistan accents and doesn't want to disclose the company true location between FL, CA, or PA which is the 1st RED FLAG. They claimed the project to do my AutoParts website would take 4 months from 03/18 which is still NOT FINISH in 11/19 after paying the balance of $5000. Octalogo will start the project after you paid the balance and find reasons to extort you, each time, for more money for each step that's already part of the deal saying it's taking longer for them to figure things on their end and prolong the work so you CAN NOT GET A REFUND. The are so incompetent. I tried to get a refund. They denied refunds saying they already started the work from you even though their intentions is NOT TO FINISH so they can keep your MONEY. I went to my Bank of America for refund. They credit my account for $1100 and I sent all conversations to show history, Octalogo used "Design Utility portal" to submitted a few updates that they had started "Working" on your project at first to counter act your future claims so you can't get a refund. Another Big RED FLAG is you'll notice they only want to communicate through phone calls and text message to keep things NONE OFFICIAL. I'm so surprised to see who they are still operational. We placed order with Octa Logo eight months ago for website design, they took $480.00 and never done anything, we called them every day, each time you call they try to sell something else and never completed the order, this is a fake company, couple of con artist run this company, please be aware, do not waste your money. I later found out of their bad reputation, they are located somewhere overseas but they will tell you that they are located in Florida/NJ, I am fed up with these people and filed for refund with my bank, after they heard from bank they started calling again and asking for more money to finish the job. Im still waiting for my website to be finished. They gave me a couple of first demos and after spending 2 hours going thru all the details to email them what needed to be corrected, they came back a week later with NO CHANGES. I spent time out of my busy day to go thru all the corrections needed and they dont listen. They dont know how to follow instructions. Although I was set on a certain design, they went the extra mile and provided me alternative looks that were incorporated to make my final logo. They were closed over the weekend which delayed my final logo being sent on the following Monday. Overall, I am pleased and would use this company again. read more

We hired this company to design a logo for our company. Big mistake!! They promise to send logo designs within 72 hours. After not receiving anything for a week, we contacted them via the chat feature and requested a refund immediately. They began becoming apologetic and even called our phone despite being on chat with us. We found that to be unprofessional and desperate. We insisted on our refund. The gentleman then begged us to give him more time to give us the logos. He also claimed that he would refund our money to us immediately and then if we liked the designs, we could authorize them to charge us what was refunded. At this point we accepted the refund. They started sending over logos (that we were not satisfied with) however our refund never arrived. We emailed them regarding refund and they told us that because they sent the logo mock ups to us, that it cancels out our refund. But to reiterate here, we ASKED FOR A REFUND and they promised to provide it right then. They even told us on the phone that they processed the refund and that it would take 3 to 4 days to hit. But to promise a customer a refund under certain provisions and then cancel it out because you feel like you can us super unprofessional. They also tried stating that we were "satisfied" with their work and therefore "cancelled" our refund. Nowhere in any email did we state we either wanted the logos or were satisfied with their logos. As of today, this company is still refusing a refund of our money even though we have requested it several times. I do not recommend anyone hiring this company under any circumstances!! This company is a SCAM! I will be filing a lawsuit against this company. This company does NOT follow their 100% satisfaction or your full refund back policy. They also do NOT abide by their 100% ownership agreement. My website had went live WITHOUT my knowing and was NOWHERE near complete. The website still has mock photos and placeholder text. I was suppose to recieve a phone call from my project manager prior to my website going live but I never recieved a call. Obviously, I am not satisfied with an incomplete website that has gone live without my knowledge. This was the last straw for me on top of the constant upselling, and the rude customer service. When I requested a refund, they tried to tell me that they could not give me a refund because my website was live even though I did not approve of it going live. BUT according to a sales rep (I have written proof), I could get a refund if I was NOT 100% satisfied. They are FALSE ADVERTISING and their so-called refund policy on their terms and condition page is contradicting. This company is NOT LEGIT! They make fake contracts and will say anything just to get a sale. I have lost all trust in this company. My lawyer will be contacting this company ASAP! read more

Unless you want a cookie-cutter project, creating a logo and building a website from scratch is tedious work. We knew this going into this project and In our initial conversations (when Octalogo was courting our business), Octalogo was very attentive and reassuring. The Logo design and completion was not without its challenges, but Octalogo delivered on this part of the project. The website creation component of the project was difficult and challenging. Multiple times, they delivered what they believed to be a finished product, but it was far from being complete. Many times we had to chase our design manager and pressure them to deliver. It felt as if they lost interest in us and our project mid-way through the process. We were surprised to learn that the website was not built on the WordPress platform. Further, it was not built on an open source platform. It was built on some Octalogo platform that has made it very difficult to manage. Even now, there are elements of our website that we are not happy with---and in hind site we should have demanded it be built on WordPress. Most recently, our Design Manager stopped responding, Octalogo failed to return calls and respond to message on their message portal. It took several very firm phone calls to a manager to get a response. Unfortunately, in one of those calls, they threw the Design Manager assigned to us under the bus, which was highly unprofessional. I have to concur with most of the reviews I see on Yelp. I wish I had read them prior to contracting with Octalogo. read more
