This is such a cute bar at the hard rock. There's plush seating that offers table service and the drinks are on point. It def has a lounge feel to it bS that of a club.

The oculus bar is a grand and extravagant drinker paradise at the Seminole hard rock hotel and casino in Hollywood. If you gambling and need a fancy drink this lounge is a good place to sit back and relax after loosing some money at the tables or slot machines. The staff is always welcoming and attends to your needs to make you experience as pleasurable as possible. This location is out of the way of the casino floor so it is not as noisy or filed with cigar smoke. Be sure to stop buy and try out the Oculus bar next time you visit the hardrock hotel & casino.

Aged New York Strip medium rare .

Highly disappointed on the aged New York Strip, supposed to be medium rare , i never return a meal, the chef should know how to cook it. The bread was very good . Great environment but highly overrrated . The server taking away the plates should be trained on how to retrieve the plates with both hands with out making the guest back up from his arm, putting dishes on top of other dishes and making noice is unacceptable for the level of the restaurant.

Stoli Elite with Red Bull and a Long Island

This was my second time at this bar. The first time it was so packed that I just ordered a quick beer and left. Friday night, we got a seat and relaxed and people watched. We had a very nice server. Drinks were slow to arrive but I guess that is on the bartender end. At the time we were there, it was somewhat crowded but I have definitely seen it more crowded. Both times we ordered drinks it took a really long time. Luckily, we were in no rush. I ordered a Long Island iced tea to start and found the drink to taste like it had some artificial ingredients. Somehow it wasn't great. My friend ordered the Stoli Elite with Red Bull and that was very good. So I ordered that later on. I noticed the table is very close to the and bench seating where I was. The table is either very difficult or impossible to move. We tried. I had trouble sitting normally where the table would be right in front of me. I had to move to the side so my leg would not hit the table. Then, I had to reach awkwardly over for my drink. This is annoying. I'm not sure why they did this when there is ample room for people to walk around. Even if the table was pushed back a couple inches it would have been better. The atmosphere is okay but when it gets very crowded, the air gets real stuffy.

    Jameson and expresso Martini

I have visited this bar with my girlfriend and her cousin on January 5, 2020. I order a shot of Disaronno and 2 Mojitos. The waiter charged me $11 for the Disaronno which I was fine with. Problem with Mojito charges: But the African American bartender from Brooklyn charged me $18 for 2 shots of Bacardi and an additional Upcharge $6 (2x$3) for Mojitos, which means $24 for two Mojitos. Whereas, the same bartender charged $20 for two Mojitos to a guy just before me. Thats the only reason I ordered mojitos for my female guests because its $10. Upon questioning the bartender on the charges, he was rude and tried to give me BS when I mentioned to him about the customer before me. He kept saying which one- I don't remember. So watch out for these crooks..

It was very busy, but classy. Good music and ambience. Cushions to carpet are prestine. Prices are great. This fits a spot for a quick relaxation, then go.

It was getting late so we didn't stay long, but made note to try it again sometime.

What made the experience even more frustrating was that there were no signs anywhere mentioning a dress code. We had also just paid for valet parking, and apparently even the valet staff was unaware of this policy. To make matters worse, we spotted another gentleman already dining inside wearing shorts and sandals. The inconsistency and lack of communication made this a very disappointing experience. Worst experience ever. The valet parking will refund our money in about 5 business days. That' was the positive highlight of our visit. Never again!!!!

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

Even though it is a freestanding restaurant, I am told that it can be difficult to find a spot. The venue offers live music on weekend evenings, but we finished eating before it began and were too tired to stay. The restaurant oozes the Irish pub decor and theme. Our waiter, Jordan, was exceptionally friendly and jovial. And he was a master at suggesting alcoholic beverages, once you let him know your likes. We had 2 orders of Irish potato soup, 2 Shepherd's pies with cheddar cheese, 2 orders of the Guinness beef and mushroom pie, 1 cabbage rolls, and one fish and chips. The soup was filled with bacon bits and creamy and luscious. The Guinness pot pies were a bit small, especially because they were so savory. The accompanying mashed potatoes did not come with gravy and there wasn't enough from the pot pies to cover it. The veggies that came with all the entrees were freshly made and without any seasoning. (But it is better to add salt and pepper than to try and remove it.) The fish was a decent size serving, but again, no real seasoning. Nothing that some salt, pepper, and malt vinegar couldn't rectify. The coating was light and crispy. Our alcoholic beverages (Guinness, wine, and a couple of specialty cocktails) were thirst quenching and satisfying. (I loved my prickly pear margarita.) Dinner for 6, including 2 soups, 6 entrees, 8 drinks, tax, and tip was $300.
