What made the experience even more frustrating was that there were no signs anywhere mentioning a dress code. We had also just paid for valet parking, and apparently even the valet staff was unaware of this policy. To make matters worse, we spotted another gentleman already dining inside wearing shorts and sandals. The inconsistency and lack of communication made this a very disappointing experience. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!
