The ambiance of the place is lovely, decorated with string lighting that looks so gorgeous at night. The patio area is much bigger than I anticipated and even has some larger tables for any larger parties. We started off with an appetizer of the peach burrata, which was tasty! I would give it 4/5. We then got wine flights which I thought were such a great value for the price. You get 3 small sized wine glasses for $15 and get to sample three wines! Definitely recommend this 5/5. As entrees, we shared two entrees - the pesto pasta and the gnocchi which at the time was made with a pork type of sauce. Both were very delicious and we really enjoyed the flavors of both. The consistency of the gnocchi's sauce was a bit interesting, as it was all sort of blended together, but the flavor was very good! Would give them each 4/5. We ended the night with tiramisu - delicious and the presentation was very cute. I haven't had very much tiramisu to compare against, but I'll give it 5/5 as I really enjoyed it! As for service, our waitress was very attentive and nice but note that they can get busy on weekend evenings, so expect a little bit of a wait. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the food. My favorite part of the night were the ambiance and the wine flights. I hope to come back again soon!

Super friendly across the board. The vibe is the best part. The outdoor courtyard setup is really cool, especially at night. Highly recommend if you're in Fort Lauderdale and want a laid-back spot with great energy.

Not a huge food menu but just enough to share and balance the drinks. I visited on their trivia night for a date night, only a few participating tables and it was fun! The questions were difficult but we made it through and won a small prize for second place. Service was beyond friendly, and we chatted with one of the owners who was super welcoming. I'd be interested in trying out their happy hour as if you having a couple drinks and bites the bill can start escalating quickly. Overall a fun, dim lit sophisticated time!

It's owner operated, which shows in the curated wine selection and the care put into the menu. The small bites are well done and the limited heartier options are satisfying enough to make it a full evening out rather than just a stop for a quick drink. The wine list offers a strong range across regions and styles, though I'd love to see an extra Italian red or two added. The servers are friendly and clearly know their wine, offering helpful suggestions without being pushy. A relaxed and polished spot for unwinding with a great glass of wine.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

The family has no plans to open another wine bar in their new location, which regrettably means bidding adieu to those authentic charcuterie platters so lovingly arranged by Claire and the hospitality gentille of daughter and co-owner Nastasia, who created a such a welcoming ambience at this unassuming wine bar in Fort Lauderdale's North Beach neighborhood across from the Galt Ocean Mile. And to my surprising delight, they did. It was so delicious. But, what I really liked about Chez Vincent Wine Bar was its comfortable ambiance, good service, and stunning décor of upside-down umbrellas hanging from the ceiling; totally creative. Besides delicious wines by the bottle or by the glass, Chez Vincent Wine Bar also offers a great selection of charcutiers. I had their "Le Trio Francais" which consisted of a dry salami rosette of Lyon, Madrange white ham, and a duck rillette being a delicious pate that went so well with my Chateauneuf du Pape. They of course also have cheese plates and other good plate selections they refer to as their "Mixes," as they contain multiple mixes of true gourmet delights. The last time I was there, they also had a man playing a MIDI keyboard for entertainment.

Unfortunately, someone in management apparently looked at a perfectly good menu item that customers actually enjoyed and thought, "You know what? Let's get rid of that." The potatoes were the reason I came back. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow capable of making any meal better. Now they're gone, replaced by disappointment and confusion. I asked if they would be coming back and was told to write a review. For now, it seems these potatoes have been permanently exiled for reasons known only to the menu gods. The rest of the meal was fine, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you're mourning the loss of what was clearly the star of the show. Removing your best side dish is a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off. Until the potatoes return, I'll likely be spending my dining budget at establishments that haven't declared war on happiness.

Unfortunately, things went downhill as soon as we arrived. There was no record of our reservation, and the staff had to scramble to push tables together. We quickly realized there was only one waiter for the entire restaurant, which explained the chaos--but it didn't excuse what came next. The chef/owner actually came out to help take orders, but her attitude was shockingly rude. She was dismissive, told people they couldn't even order drinks yet, and made the whole experience uncomfortable. We later found out she had fired her entire staff, and the one waiter there was just a friend helping out. That explained a lot. Service was painfully slow--we waited forever for everything, including the check. At one point, we seriously considered just getting up and leaving. The only bright spot? The food. It was genuinely delicious and tasted very authentic. But sadly, great food couldn't make up for such a poor experience. If I hadn't been with a large group, I would have walked out. Hoping they can get their staffing and customer service together, because the kitchen clearly has potential.
