You can wander, explore, and keep finding new things around every corner, it's the kind of shop you never get bored in. And somehow, you can even grab something to eat while you're there, which just makes it even better. What really sets them apart though is what they do for the pet community. Their Rescue Round Up events are amazing and show how much they genuinely care about animals and the people who love them. It's more than just a shop, it's an experience and a community space. Definitely worth a visit (just plan extra time, you'll need it).

Inside though you will not find aisles of produce and snacks, but instead a unique collection of antiques, vintage finds, collectables and home goods. Each booth, and there are dozens (I think I read there are over 100...) is specifically curated by it's owner to offer their own unique collection. We walked past a booth of old school toys and action figures, another of milk glass and those little trinkets that everyone's great grandmother seemed to have a collection of. There was a super interesting booth filled with crystals and magical vibes, meanwhile a booth just down the way was filled with colorful vintage pyrex and tupperware. We saw handmade jewelry and knit goods, trading cards, oil paintings, figurines, ornaments, beanie babies, and so much more. Each booth uniquely it's own. We ended up wandering for almost a couple of hours... but honestly I could have spent the entire day there.. so many treasures to discover. Other things of note: - There are several spaces on various levels.. So grab a shopping cart and explore. - We didn't stop for food but there's a diner-esque spot in the back serving up salads and sandwiches. - Dressing rooms (and I think bathrooms) were located up at the front entrance by one of the registers.

I have been traveling past this facility/business for the past few years-never stopped never had…read moretime. After what happened today, interacting with the owner (older man with glasses and moustache'); I won't waste my time again. First time in there-my wife and I looked around, being very polite and respectful, I inquired about what type of books he had, he had nothing specific, but, we looked around. I came across an item that was from the mid 1950s, and in poor condition, but, it had me curious about its history. So I brought it up to him, he smelled the book first, flipped through the pages, figured it was about 63 years old and quoted me a price. I said okay, and I mentioned the book wasn't that good of condition, but he responded, " since I wanted it, it must be worth something" so he threw a price figure out there rather sharply and sounded pissed at me. I did nothing to this man, and decided based on his attitude that I would pass. He balked at me for passing on the book, I told him maybe after I looked around I would consider it. He was an absolute jerk to me...not a way to be when a new customer comes into your shop, therefore, I would recommend, go somewhere else to do business. His customer skills need some major refining. Not worth my business, I can go elsewhere...BTW-the book was interesting but nothing for anyone to lose sleep over or pay the price he was asking for without some further research. Some people are just jerks and this guys was, sadly. Stay away from Lockwood Antiques. LOCKWOOD ANTIQUES.com 2507 West Rd. NYS Rte.46 Oneida,N.Y. 13421 Ph.315.363-1348

A cute little antique store in the village of Sylvan Beach…read more When my boyfriend and I were taking a walk after breakfast, we stumbled upon this store. We were greeted when we walked in and we were told about what sections had sales. The store inside is much bigger than we thought! So much to see and so many different sections. There's endless things here. You never know what you will find at an antique store. There were sports cards, books, furniture, toys, old board games, dishes, old signs, records, CDs....literally so many things! It was very clean and organIzed inside. Prices were very reasonable as well.

I had been to a few antique shops near me but their prices were outrageous. A&A had a lot of unique items and booths that caught my eye and drained my wallet a bit too thin. However, I would have ended up paying quadruple what I did if I had found these elsewhere and would have never bought them! Lol. I picked up a beautiful ceramic white lamp for my study for $13, a side table of wood and steel for $25, a small vanity and stool which I'll use for a simple sewing table for $20, a few trivets for $1 a piece, some revere cookware for $40 for a set of 5 pieces, some records, a couple of nicnacs, and a rug for $40. I can't beat these prices and the two gentlemen that helped me were quite the comedy duo! I enjoyed their help and banter. They ensured that I will be back again because this is by far my favorite shop thus far and its next to The Pancake House that I enjoy as well.
