The men's clothing selection was fairly average, while the women's section felt stronger with more variety. They also carry some home goods, though there are almost no electronics if that's what you're looking for. There is not an endless amount of merchandise so don't show up with specific items to buy. I tried to park here during the Little Canada citywide garage sales - they have a huge parking lot and it was empty before they opened - I got a good stink eye from an employee walking in and someone else came out to tell us we had to move even before we left the car - aight, should have parked in back where you wouldn't have noticed.... Anyway, after we were done saleing - we did come back to dig through this place and I loved it. Prices are extremely low and there are plenty of good things to find! I bought some things just because of the price (do I really need two pictures of chickadees in heart shaped frames? Or a toy dragon? Or a puzzle? Or a mug with vegetables on it? Of course not!) I highly recommend making a shopping date with friends and then hitting coffee afterwards. Bonus: Flying Pig is typically open until 6 pm and Ginkgo 8 pm!! Flying Pig Thrift is staffed primarily by volunteers and everyone is beyond kind. Community resources are available onsite via a bulletin board and the shop supports 3 main non-profit groups. Within the dressing area room, there was a flyer supporting mental health resources and I smiled when I saw it. There are a wide variety of items that shift seasonally and frequently. Items are fairly priced and there are often sales, half price item days and even a permanent sale section in the back. I was really excited to score a denim button up with funky colorful bird designs, a cute yellow bee kind sweatshirt along with a black Nike top. In addition to clothes, there are shoes, cards, jewelry, some handcrafted art, home decor, hospital scrubs, board games, records, magazines and more. Thank you Flying Pig Thrift! The best part is that a majority of the new items are all locally sourced and hand-crafted by local artists. I feel as if all items are reasonably priced even the hand-crafted section. WBL offers historic charm in general, but so does this shop. Located just a touch off the main drag, there are also a few other shops inside this building as well. The setup here is calming to me and offers a nice flow. From the handmade goodies to printed tee shirts and sweatshirts to jewelry to thrifted handbags to clothes to art supplies, there is something for everyone. Offering light art classes in the back of the space on a giant table, make sure to grab a flyer when you're in next or check the website. For just a small fee, you could be the new owner of a piece of art crafted by you. In addition, shopping here is a great place to get gifts whether that's for a baby shower, birthday or holiday. I love a good thrift shop and reducing waste, and they had a nice little selection of clothes, well organized and for decent prices. That fell to one side of the store, and the other had to local t-shirts and makers creations that are fun to find in town. I didn't have a ton of time to explore, but they were super nice and even had a table for kids to play at while parents shopped, and I look forward to going back next time I'm in town!

Sure, it's a little dirty and not as clean as other places but there are so many things to be found! They also always seem to be short staffed at every location - I have walked out before instead of standing in line to buy one item I didn't need - but I am not complaining, I get it! They always have a ton of furniture and clothes. Sometimes you can find salvaged goods that are new but I don't see that sort of stuff at the Fridley location as often.

There's always something to find here! There's a lot of vintage, secondhand clothing here - and nothing is boring. Think bold colors and patterns, quirky designs, and out-there materials. But much of the accessories are quirky and unique: think doll hands for earrings kind of vibe! There's a decent amount of knick-knacks and giftables here as well, that are more local artisan made or new. The store can feel a bit overwhelming at first entrance, so take it by section and putz with an open mind. Prices were on par with higher-end vintage stores, but they do run some sales a few times each year. There is a dressing room with a curtain for trying things on!
