This store is bad, not going to put color into it, but everytime I (black man) go in and with another customer (white counter part), I always get followed by either a older white guy or younger red head white girl, they stand in front of the aisle looking dead at me, never ask can I help you or even small talk, it's like pac man, they trail me like game in the field. They never follow the white counterpart at all.The prices and selections are bad, but when it's raining and you just have a taste for something, it's a quick drive. But going forward I'll spare the time to go to another that doesn't trail you, even though you buy each time and create small talk to build a rapport with the staff. read more

Mean nasty attitudes. I went in with my friend I don't even drink and they tried to card me I was so annoyed and frustrated I left my whole purse in the car because like I didn't need it . I used to drink so I suggested that they try something I used to like I didn't touch the bottle I don't look that damn young I get they have their rules but I offered to leave and they wouldn't serve my friend even though they had their id. I get they are trying to prevent u derange drinking trust I get it ! But like if I was u derange and wanted to drink I would ... easily could go to Baltimore and get served . It was really the rudeness and the racism obviously towards the black male I was with , I've been in many interracial relationships... at this point I can't tell when someone is giving dirty looks or being prejudice. Will never go here again. Have been a loyal customer until tonight. 3 male workers witnessed a large, white man verbally and sexually harassing me from the moment I entered the store until I left when the man shouted, "You have to give a little to get a little!" The workers did absolutely nothing. I was wearing a winter hat and scarf, glasses, baggy pants and a sweatshirt for those of you types who think it should matter. Felt incredibly unsafe and was glad he had not checked out before I left to my vehicle. Never again. read more

Owners are friendly, nice and I appreciate that they remember you. Wide variety of choices of all types alcohol. Can't comment on prices as I rarely go to other liquor stores. LoL ... maybe thats why they remember me. read more

Wow, what a dump. Staff doesn't know products or prices. Prices aren't anything special. I was on "high alert" re situational awareness the whole time in the store. I can only think this store survives based on good...decent...okay location. Next time, I'll drive further to a different store. read more

I don't even know what to say about the people who work here. I came in to buy liquor and at first the Indian guy kept saying it wasn't me. He then proceeded to show my I.D. to the guy with dreads and he kept say nah they don't make them like that. LOL! Which one is it? My I.D. Is legit, the only difference is my hair because it's an older picture. I even offered to show my credit cards to prove that it's me, I removed my mask and they still continued to deny me. It's all good though because my bf came in 5 min later and bought the buzz balls we were looking for. It's ironic cuz my bf's picture is older too yet they still chose to serve him. Then made a comment towards my boyfriend talking about "we're cousins" just because they were light skin. LOL BYE. They are stupid and slow. read more

Hands down the best place in the Crofton/Bowie/Odenton area to buy craft beer. They have a great selection of beers that seems to elude your places like RIPS, etc... The ownership is friendly as well, they kindly let you know if they are getting more of something you like in stock. Check them out! read more

This place is close to my house but I usually drive out of my way to go elsewhere because it's so outrageously expensive. The same liquor everywhere else is 18.99 and they charge you 25! Tonight I remarked as I was paying that the price was so much higher.. the man, who I assume is probably the owner, asked me about the pricing. I guess he got offended because in mid sentence he cut me off to help the only other person in the store. I will continue driving out of my way, this place is a rip off and I can now add rude as well! I won't be back! read more

How have I been living near here and have never stopped in before? I'm so glad that I did, because now I know where I'll go to find my favorite craft beers. Odenton liquors has one of the largest selections of beer and wine that I've ever seen, with most of their beer refrigerated! Their craft beer options are super extensive, and there were beers from just about every small brewery that I like... and tons of options from little breweries I've never even heard of. Other liquor stores often have a handful of craft selections, mainly the more popular beers like Blue Moon and Dogfish Head... but this place has so many options from craft breweries all around the country. I tried two new beers and picked up a six pack of my favorite holiday IPA as well. And their price point was really good - your typical $9-12 for a six pack of some good beer. Extra points for having a good assortment of beers with a purpose - I picked up the Last Chance Animal Rescue IPA from Waybacher... where a portion of the proceeds benefit local animal shelters in Easton, PA where the beer is brewed. That's super cool! But wait, there's more! They have a station where you can fill growlers of various sizes with draft beer. The very friendly cashier explained that they rotate their beers that are on tap, but that each fill is about $14. And just in case you weren't already sold, this place lets you make your own six packs - so you could walk in and take home six bottles of different brews to try if you wanted to. I am a definite fan! A local place to go for a HUGE assortment of craft beer to satisfy my beer snob palate, friendly staff, and a clean atmosphere make this my new favorite liquor store. read more

This store is so close to my house, the staff is friendly and the parking is easy. But...it is so old and dingy inside and it smells like a bad antique shop. I literally take a deep breath before going in and the smell lingers in my hair and clothes even after I leave. And I'm not a fan of the staff watching R-rated movies on the big TV next to the dead, stuffed cat. The whole place makes me feel a little sick. Probably won't go back unless we have a beer emergency...lol. read more

The manager Baljit was the most offensive and rude manager I have ever encountered at a liquor store. He was very dismissive of me when I asked a question about their wine selection and ordered me to come back later. When I did, he SHOUTED at me, "Don't you understand English!?!? Don't bother me!!" And I'm not even the one from a foreign country. I usually don't write Yelp reviews but this experience was so terrible I hope other readers/reviewers consider my post before giving such an awful manager and store their hard-earned money and business. read more

I totally agree with Tim - I love the fact that this store sells beer by the growler, and they usually have quite a good selection, too. As a matter of fact, hubby is just now picking up another one for the US football game :-) They also do have a very very good selection of beers by the bottle - I'm from Germany and am very happy to find several German beers here; not cheap, but that is to be expected for imported stuff, I guess...The only criticism I have is that they never update their website / Facebook page about what beers they have on tap - I wonder why?
