As a winter snowbird, with pre-planned arrival and departure dates from PV one is limited in getting any second opinions on dental issues and for the scheduling of appointments and the delivery of possible dental appliances. I would recommend that people get a very clear, itemized quote and schedule for any work to be done by any dentist. As it is common for payments to be made in advance for the manufacture of dental bridges and implants etc., this adds an additional imbalance of control. With Canada's new Dental Plan (for those who qualify) I am not sure there is any longer a great cost saving in having work done in Mexico, unless you have American dollars.
