The staff are lovely, I would actually love to work there or even design underwear for them. The underwear is great quality, you'll find everything in this store, from sexy to girly bras and knickers, to silky nightwear, or even those beautiful soft pijamas. When I am in the store I turn into Rebecca Bloomswood from Confessions of a Shopaholic, my heart (almost) melts. Also, the layout of the shop is brilliant. I love the fact you can just open up little drawers and find your own size, or just get the assistant to do it for you, if you're that lazy. The changing room I am usually in had an old fashioned telephone, which you can use if you would like any assistance. You can also change the light by yourself. It's genious.

Lingerie shopping has often been a vastly traumatising experience, best avoided until absolutely necessary. And then Bravissimo opened up and the world was a brighter, lacier place! Not only were they able to size me properly and fit me with the first comfortable bra I can remember wearing since puberty, but they actually have a nice and colourful selection! Amazing! Unfortunately once you get to anything above a C-cup, braziers don't come cheap. They start at about £20, but tend to average around £30 - £40. Sad for the budget, but you do pay for quality (gone are the days when Debenhams bras would burst and stab me with underwire). Bravissimo have their own line of lingerie, but also have stock from designers such as Masquerade who make some very pretty bras and knickers. The service level from the ladies in this shop is just amazing. You can make an appointment for a fitting, so you are rarely kept waiting. Even if you just want to be seen to as soon as possible, they always give you waiting times, and there are plenty of comfy seats while you wait. The fitter will ask you what style and colour you're looking for, and will bring back a selection after the initial sizing to try on. It's always reassuring that they bring back more than one size in the different styles, as manufacturers seem to differ in their measurements. Additionally, the fitters really put you at ease, and always ask if you want them to leave the room while you change bra. Some other places can leave you feeling a wee bit awkward. I've been frequenting this shop since it opened, and with this level of service and good selection, it's unsurprising that they'll continue to see me come through their doors (hopefully) for years to come. If you've ever had trouble with your undergarments, these ladies can sort you out!

Whenever I see the red silk slips and the lacy thongs with suspenders I just think of one of those cheesy old movies where the femme fatale announces that she is going to "slip into something a little more comfortable." Oh dear. I don't know why but these shops just make me cringe beyond belief. This one is right in the middle of Clarkston, right next to the ice-cream shop and the primary school it just sticks out like a sore thumb and seems really inappropriately placed. The last thing you want is to bump into your neighbour walking his dog while you step out with a pair of suspenders. I'm personally not into this kind of thing but I guess it does the job for people who are.

The changing rooms are a little small but they are tucked in so that no-one ever need see you trying on your bra. Some of the bras are very pricey but the others are the same as buying in Debenhams, with a much better service. If they don't have your size they will order in for you. Once being fitted (and they suggest a quick check before buying any bra) you are shown a selection of styles and prices, and never forced into buying the dear ones!! Highly recommend for a decent fitting- it makes all the difference.

Received an email on the Friday and refund stating that due to an error they had no stock to send. A bit late to find this out on the Friday as they must have known before then if they were planning on delivering them to me on the Friday. Had they informed me earlier I could have gone elsewhere. I wrote to this company stating my disatisfaction but to date have received no answer. My advise to others is to go elsewhere from the start.

That wasn't why I visited - I was after a trouser/PJ short type of thing, but this place was so damn gorgeous I found it hard to leave again. First things first - the decor of this shop is spot on. Classy, boudoir-esque and no sleazy. I love that it has a big curtain at the front window of the shop, so it's like a bedroom. It's got a bit of class and sophistication although the prices aren't too unreasonable (e.g. 3 knickers/pants for £12, bras for around £20 with free pants). It reminds me of Peter Alexander in Australia which does loads of cute-but-sexy nightwear. I had a bit of a look around but I couldn't really see what took my fancy. There was a couple of assistants on hand who were really helpful - maybe too helpful with the reeling off of the deals and telling me lots of things I might like, even if it wasn't what I said I was looking for. That was the only downer to this experience, if I'll be honest - I much prefer being left to my own devices and offered a couple of spot-on suggestions than the whole spiel about bra deals when I was looking for PJs. Selling gorgeous, vampy corsets of the highest quality, Bourdoir were a company that originally started in Glasgow and have now come through to the capital. They sell themselves as "corset specialists", and by that it's not the kind of explicitly sexual lingerie that turns up in sex shops, or the gregarious Whiplash Trash. The corsets they sell in here are a bit more tasteful, and with their sexy but delicate lace up backs they are sizzling. They do free sizing sessions in here to see what corset would exactly suit your figure. Whether you go for bold reds and blacks to pastel colours suited for weddings and soft, girly outfits, they are a surefire winner. Prices start at around £90 which I would say is very reasonable for such quality garments.

I had a look through the portfolio and these pictures are sexy and sophisticated, very beautiful and well composed by professional photographers. It can be pricey but well worth it! A great find in the otherwise boring Heymarket area!
