The store is clean, well-stocked, and staffed by a very friendly staff. I actually found a number of items to get for the wife, and my relatives all found a couple of things they really liked. They also had a really cool discount area where a lot of items were dirt cheap, with a decent selection of products. Overall, actually enjoyed shopping here. If you're in the area, especially on vacation, stop in and look around, you're sure to find something very kitschy for your house. Of course this is the place to go if you need some Vera. I completely unexpectedly purchased a container of Wixson's Comb Honey tonight. It was an impulse…read morebuy at Living Root Winery in Rochester, where it was sitting on the checkout counter, and my ten-year old son talked me into it. I've never eaten a honeycomb before, and don't eat much honey in general. But the really friendly Living Roots clerk explained to us how Wixson's bees actually construct the honeycomb right inside of the container you purchase it in. So we gave it a go. When we got home, before I even noticed, my whole family dug right into it, and ate like a quarter of the honeycomb brick immediately!! I was all, "WHOA, SLOW YOUR ROLL! GIVE ME THAT." As the proprietor of the venture, I had to see what all the fuss was about. I took a spoonful of honeycomb and ... YUP, WHOA, A BITE OF BLISS. I had to cap it, or we likely could have devoured this insanely delicious local natural wonder in one sitting. THANKS to Living Roots for introducing us to Wixson's Comb Honey!
