For icecream we tasted the purple cow, peach cobbler, cookies and cream, black cherry chocolate, and the coffee heath crunch. My favorite was the coffee flavor- unlike other coffee icecreams I've had, this coffee had a much more robust and richer flavor profile. I liked cookies and cram-- always a classic. The cherry flavor was a tad too artificial for my liking. Purple cow was fine- very similar to the Cornell Dairy flavor- both are good though! I liked the peach cobbler flavor though wish there were more of the mix-ins. For cheeses, we tasted the butter garlic cheddar curds, the signature Summit Cheddar, and the plain quark. The garlic cheddar curds were so good, I took a bag home with me! Summit cheddar had a nice nutty flavor, not too 'sharp' though. The quark was interesting... it had a rather mild flavor and interesting texture (similar to boursin). I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I also took home a bag of the tomato basil cheese curds which I didn't like as much as the garlic ones. The tomato ones had a very subtle flavor-- too subtle. There was a line when we got there though it moves relatively quickly and is definitely worth the wait! Overall, I had so much fun picking out so many icecreams and cheeses to taste as well as seeing the cows! I would highly recommend Shtayburne Farm!

We also saw flowers, art, hard cider and wine, popcorn, baked goods, chocolates, honey, wood, leather, clay, paper, jewelry, and fiber works. Also some ready-to-eat asian food. There was even a tour boat docked out back. The range of goods was amazing. The open air market was a nice weekend activity.

So first I had a homemade ginger ale which was delicious. I also had a breakfast burrito which was really good. I also purchased a leather belt which is beautiful and well made with genuine leather. I purchased a hair pin which is quite beautiful and I look forward to wearing. This is a must see, it was with the one hour drive, we spent the whole day here. Also we were able to get parking right in the front, just be patient. They also have a cool system of rescuing the silverware which was great.

The "flagship" stand is a food truck called the Catbird Griddle that serves homemade buckwheat pancakes with local fruit, maple syrup and the best bacon I've ever had. You can also get lunch options, which are also great, but the pancakes are the star. Also, good coffee. Angelica is a gorgeous small town, with beautiful homes and big sleepy trees. Definitely worth a stop (exit off of 86 at "angelica") and then turn right and then left into town.

We did snag some super fresh Mennonite-grown asparagus. Too rainy to enjoy the outdoor part. This place is probably more like a 4 star on a better day.
