I have been getting my hair done at Off The Top for several years. Gail does my hair and has been cutting my son's hair since he was 5. ( he is now 20) She has become our friend, not just our hair dresser. All the girls at Off The Top are top notch, they know all their customers by name and care about each one of them. The salon is bright, inviting, and always clean. Their prices are very reasonable. Take it for what its worth but when I'm not worth their time then how can they be worth mine. If your posted hours are till 7:00 but you turn away walk ins, which is posted that you accept, at 6:30 because you have no more available appointments then maybe you should turn off the open light. Better yet when there are multiple people sitting around and only one person actually doing hair cuts, just maybe someone else could take a client. The best I got was a price quote of $16 (among highest in the area) and asked to schedule the next day. I stress "Walk Ins Welcome" I think not. Maybe I'm from the wrong area but when Salons near by charge $15 or $16 then why would or should I come to a barber that charges $16. Great Clips maybe 10 minutes away but I guess that would be worth saving a few bucks as they will value my time and still do a good job, which I don't even know if this place could do a good job or not but I will not likely find out at this point. My suggestion to all who attempt here is go early and schedule early then maybe you'll have better luck. I miss old school barbers. read more
