I ordered about $100 worth of print jobs yesterday. I asked to borrow a pair of scissors. They looked at me like I had 10 heads. After about 10 minutes, someone handed me a toddler scissor that I would send my two year-old to daycare with. I can't do anything with those miniature scissors. I even offered to buy a pair, but no one seemed to know where they were located. I just needed to cut one piece of paper in half. If Office Depot can't have a scissor readily available at a paper printing operation that's helping small businesses do things it's just wild. You have one job. Printing things for small businesses. Leave out a few pairs of scissors. I guarantee you I'm not the only one who needs a scissor. What a bonkers experience. I will stick to finding another small business print shop instead of Ever using Office Depot in a pinch again. read more

An order was placed online for a sign to be printed late yesterday. Around noon today, we called for an update and were rudely advised that we would receive a text. When I asked for a time frame to ensure I was available for pickup, I was again rudely told I would get a text. I requested a specific time, but the staff refused and said by 6pm, which is after business hours. I then requested a supervisor, but they hung up on me after I asked. This is not the first time this has happened. The store is very empty, and no one is available to assist. The print department is grossly understaffed, leading to long wait times. I would not return, as I believe this location will not be around much longer. It's really a shame. read more

I would stay clear of this operation unfortunately - or at least during the weekends as the leadership lacks the skills necessary to carry out their job. Extremely lack luster concern for customer support. Scenario, sister with Diabetes had one of those last minute "have to go" or it will be a mess moments and the attendant at the register and one of the floor agents (chatting it up with fellow employees and not walking the floors to see if customers need assistance) when I approached them about unlocking the bathrooms those lack luster employees approached the office to ask permission for my sister to use their restroom but he comes out and says they about of order but I asked if they were truly out of service since my sister has diabetes and has to go so he walks back into the office and after 3min (every second counts) then a different person walks out, walks in a horseshoe and looks at the back wall but never approaches my sister or myself but shrugs her shoulders and goes to the cashier smiles and giggles a lil and walks away and then the initial employee walks out of that same office and she whispers something to him and they both giggle a lil and shrug their shoulders And the he states that nope we cannot open but can go to Firehouse subs bathroom. Now if you bathrooms were down truly, I would have been approached or my sister would have been approached from that lack luster and I dare say pathetic level of service set of employees - if they are truly down it would have been seconds seconds to say unfortunately they are down and we do apologize but offer some Level of concern but to shrug and giggle at someone else's misfortune of having a disease that sometime has spontaneous consequences. Corporate - these so called employees are killing your business. You are losing revenue shares and business to other supply stores due to their nonchalant personalities. Do you want to know why you have an empty store - your employees are running your operation into the ground. Shrug their shoulders and giggle all they want.... I once shopped here a lot, even passing up other stores and paid more for goods and services when your employees cared. These employees you have know stink. read more

The register doesn't ring up any of the sale items correctly. And the sales associate has to keep walking with you to see the sale price. They have things on sale under items that they say are not the correct items. And the manager does not seem to care. read more

When checking out the cashier asked me about buying 5 more items, plans and services and donations wasting my time and those waiting behind me. They are too needy. They didn't even bag or even offer a bad for the 6-8 items I bought. I won't be back. read more

I am giving the lowest star not as a customer but a former employee. This was long ago. I just come across the thought that employees here do not get benefits even when they are full-time employees. Management here was terrible. My employer was by the name of Andrea and I was a part time employee working full time hours (and we were all understaffed very much so). I was told that people can become full-timers and when I decided that was what I was already doing, she stated that I could work full-time hours but cannot be a full-time employee. There are no benefits, no raises or promotions - and they also mess up the calculation on your pay. I would go above and beyond - still, I would not get a raise or any humane appreciation for my efforts. After quitting and not showing up for my two weeks (rightfully so), I discovered that this is highly abnormal and this is a violation. This is exploitation. I wasted time here. There are employees like myself who genuinely do love helping customers but management does not allow you to do that. People here get underpaid and under-compensated. And there is no point on tipping because it all goes to management/corporate. If you are wondering why Office Depot is a terrible place to shop, that is because it is. It is a corporate scam, and they treat their employees like crap. They also treat their customers like crap too. PS, I learned everything from coworkers - never from management. read more

Don't shop here unless you want to be robbed. I wish I could give them a negative star. The manager "Candice" has a serious attitude problem. Before I even got to the he register, she was already rolling her eyes at me for asking a question. Paid $46 for printer ink and found it on Amazon for $31. So I returned it. Then after I paid $42 for an Avery labels box that sells at $27 online, I asked for a price-match and Ms. Candice gave me more sass then she just disappeared. Her employee said she "went to the bathroom". She was gone :15 when I finally decided to leave. Good thing I paid with Amex. They'll price match for me. I'll go to Staples next time. Today Sept 13th 2022 I Had to make 2 copies and the person at printer said she was done for the day. I arrived more than half an hour before closing time (they are still open as I'm writting this) when I requested to speak with the manager she said she was the manager and started laughing like in a "what are you gonna do attitude" she then closed the rope on my face. I tried getting a certain mouse at the Estero store which they didn't have. The employee looked it up and stated the Ft Myers store has them and assured me of this. So I drove 25 miles to find out that was not true. First, it took for ever to have someone to help me. All had was the display, asked to speak with the manager, who keep asking that employee why I needed to speak with her. She came out with an attitude already, I expressed my concerns and with some back and forth. She stated " well, you should have called first" sarcastically. Then, stated " I done with you" and walked away to speak with someone. I asked for the district manager's information, she just give his first name and told me to leave the store. Unbelievable, the worst customer service I have ever came across. Office Depot should be ashamed of this employee, yet a manager. read more

Staff here is very friendly and looking to help you. You are greeted at the door and are right on hand if you need something. I was able to find the ink cartridge I needed but did notice that several other selections were out. I even found a cute stuffed animal pillow that was on clearance-will make a great gift for grandchild! read more

Give me a break. OMG what does it take to get just a little consideration for a customer service person behind the counter to maybe provide an ounce of just basic service. Heck I'd even settle for just a a little bit of quality customer service. After driving all the way in from Captiva Island to the college parkway location and then waiting for 40 minutes to be waited on Kat the team member behind the counter counter would not answer the same question that I had to ask three different times. I just wanted to know what the cost would be to print up two different size postcards. I need five thousand of each size with multiple colors with photos. After asking her three times for an estimate she would not answer so I just had to surrender to her extreme stupidity and I walked out of the store. I called the store after I left and spoke Ramsey the store manager and he was just as useless as Kat. It seems that everyone I dealt with at the Office Depot on College Parkway needs to learn how to listen. read more

On Saturday, June 13, I ordered an HP printer for curbside pick up from the office depot located on College. Within three minutes I received an email stating the printer was not available. I spoke to the manager and he indicated that the order would be canceled and the pending charge on my account would fall off. Well it's two days later and I still have $150 charge on my account for a printer they couldn't deliver. I called customer service and they told me it would be 7 to 10 days. The pending transaction should never have stayed on my account because the sale was never completed. I will never shop there again. I understand that mistakes happen, but this is the second time this has happened with Office Depot. read more

The staff that helped me with suggestions for small items one day, really tried and made an honest attempt to find what I was looking for (business card holder). Another day in, I was computer shopping, and an older fellow had a real enthusiastic way of selling; you could tell he was really into the technology (or maybe he was fishing for a commission? I can see why they are struggling. Wondered around the store looking for needs while seven associates sitting up front talking. Then had ordered a stapler on line and it did not work oroperly. Could not return it at the store. Managers were standing at door when i first arrived and immediately said we do not have that here, must have purchased somwhere else.
