Can say this man how Office Depot has fallen, I normally go near corporate headquarters but I needed something for work so I grabbed a few things here. Parking spots were quite a few so no need to worry about parking. Once inside the store, you see registers to your right, copy and print to your left and the store straight ahead. The store had some opportunities as lot of empty shelves and peg hooks. They had only one person on the floor, while many needed help finding stuff. Having 3 people working from 11 am-12 pm is kind of wild to me. Going to the registers, the cashier was friendly. It looks like they should apply elsewhere cause the service was probably the best thing about the store at checkout. Don't shop at this Office Depot. Since David, and Chris have left this Office Depot has gone to hell. The service is pitiful. I waited for 20 minutes in line last week. I asked for the Manager, and she opened another lane, but she was just as slow as the first check-out lane I was in. The line started building so they opened a third lane, and the line still didn't move. They kept ignoring me when I made comments about the terrible service. Veronica is still there. She's a nice lady but she is just as slow as everyone else at this location. Try the location near the Galleria because this location at Westheimer at Hillcroft is a joke. Wal Mart is faster than this Office Depot location. The Manager said they were short staffed. No kidding, who wants to work for a Company like this? Not to be confused with Orifice Depot which is much more sexual. This is a decent Office Depot, but these stores are so expensive now, and I couldn't believe how much though. I am not quite sure why this store is so bad. I mean, if they hired ENOUGH people- you know- STAFF and the proper amount of them, this store's reviews may rise quite a bit. I called earlier to see how to make copies and print, as well as the prices, etc., which the employee told me; why does this store's location close so early in the printer/copier section BEFORE 5pm??!! Just about everyone in the city of Houston GETS OFF AT 5pm!! You talk ABOUT inconvenience! It appeared as though they only had TWO employees in the entire store which is ludacris!! It is badly enough that many places of business have automated phone systems to service you in stead of talking to a live person. I purchased filing supplies back in January. Two days later I took file boxes back. The woman who took them discounted them $4 each. She gave me the price that they just discounted to. She refused to fix it and told me I had to get it straightened out at corporate. I called corporate and they would not help. I've been back to the actual store and asked for GM - he's NEVER there. Just like any other Office Depot that I've ever stepped foot in, this one is no different. ALWAYS empty. Like seriously, never more than maybe 10 customers at one time? The last time I was browsing here, I was greeted by not one, not two, not three, but FOUR different employees asking me if I needed help. Returning an item here is always a breeze. Scan, scan, sign. Done. The only downside is definitely the "retail" pricing, because you can always find something for cheaper online. However, if you need some office supplies (like ink, or toner) on the quick, then it's best to go to your local office depot. However, If you scour the net, you can get some coupon that gives you an extra discount, or some gift card for future purchases. This particular store is clean, bright, and everything is arranged neatly. Too bad they don't have as many "clearance" items compared to some of the other locations I've been to. I went inside to get stickers printed and they tried to charge me $20 "setup fee" for pressing the print button and selecting how many images were going to be printed. This is complete robbery and this store is not the business. I went to the location in Conroe and they charged me nothing to print my stickers except for the cost of the paper. I'm currently in a queue to have 1 piece of paper printed. Ahead of me are 4 other people in a queue, and has been that way for 1 whole hour. The instructions to get in the queue weren't super clear, and the staff couldn't care less to help any of us figure it out or even acknowledge us waiting in line. I was in Office Depot at 7519 Westheimer Rd I noticed customers not wearing mask when I pointed this out to an employee I was told that it was a Texas law that they could turn a customer away if he or she refused to wear a mask I thought that was ridiculous and inaccurate When I got home I called the corporate office The woman I spoke to asked for my contact information and said someone would reach out to me concerning this matter The next day the store manager named Mark called me When I explained what I witnessed in his store Mark told me that they were not the mask police and that some people have medical conditions that prevented them from wearing a mask I told him that other businesses asked these people to use their curbside pickup He again told me that they were not the mask police and that was their corporate policy I feel that Office Depot does not care for their customers health or their employees health and well being I strongly encourage anyone that cares about CDC guidelines being enforced stay away from Office Depot and instead go to Staples I gave one star because because I could not give a lower review read more

We have attempted for more than 2 weeks to receive the furniture we ordered and paid for delivered to our new office. We have been given several dates which resulted in several days of sitting on the floor from 8am to 8pm (the delivery hours we were given) with no results. Repeated phone calls and trips to the store to straighten this out have resulted in NOTHING. We chose to write a letter in the hopes of getting someone in management's attention and I was put on hold for over 5 minutes twice and disconnected once before someone said "Mark, I don't know his last name". The machines are slow for printing. This time I came, i was about to print when the manager comes over and tells my husband to put on his mask, but his mask had just fell down and the woman was being very rude and then even tells me to fix.my mask all the way over my nose. I told her if i pull it up more it would be on my eyes but she starts telling me to leave. At this point my husband and I have situated our masks properly the best we can and she is still telling me to get out and raising her voice. She was very close to us and I told her to socially distance but she refused. Then the other manager or employee comes over telling us to leave or shes calling the police. Office Depot used to be my go to spot but it's just not good anymore. First off; the prices didn't not match the advertisement for tax free weekend in store sales. Secondly, everything was all over the place. The labels I looked for was in three different spots. The black and white labels I needed for my label machine was out of stock! (None in the back!) it's only Friday. Why are they out?! Finally, the lines were not even long but there were no workers to be found to help me; overall bad customer service. Notban avid office anything shopper. However I have found my way into this location on several occasions. More than impressed, more than satisfied, more like awesomely overwhelmed. Sean, the first employee I got help from was infinitely full of tech wisdom from the newest to older technology. Sean was extremely kind, courteous, patient, & thorough. I couldn't imagine what my unplanned, yet necessary stop here would've been like without him. The management team is the most wonderful group of leaders at a single location. Each have their own way of customer service style that's going to fit any shopper. I cannot comment on the printing services offered. I asked about a few products offered and was handed a brochure. It wasn't close to what I had questions about. The abrupt treatment by the business center /printing services left me with no desire to return to that department ever again.
