This location has lots of options from arts and crafts to household to food, etc. The store itself is unorganized and it can be chaotic at times. Customer service can be a hit or miss. The parking lot can be hectic and there is always someone in the front asking for handouts. read more

This is a little hidden gem store. They have a great selection of seasonal items, more earlier in whatever season than later of course. The staff is friendly, so that's a bonus. Parking...well, you may have to hunt a bit, but I always find a spot. They also have nice gift wrap supplies and school supplies areas. Just a heads up -- ordering online is a gamble. Whoever is fulfilling orders at their warehouse is extremely incompetent. Ordering to this location made the return/refund process easier than ordering to my house but overall, was still much more of a hassle than anticipated. In the end, they couldn't fulfill a simple order and I had to take my business elsewhere. I initially ordered some contact paper (the stuff to line your drawers) online and was very happy since I was able to do my entire kitchen at a very reasonable cost. When it comes to certain products (party supplies, stationary, etc.) DT really saves you money. I stopped buying personal hygiene or cleaning products here a while ago (I feel like it's all cheap poison) however couldn't resist the deals on other items. Anyway, here's where the fairy tale ends -- I ordered more contact paper (for my bathroom this time). First of all, I received an email advising me to come pick up the order. When I arrived, I was told that those emails are sometimes sent prematurely and the delivery truck hadn't arrived yet. Uhuh. When I returned another day to pick up the order, it turned out that they sent the wrong color. Staff told me I'd have to decline the order, call to get a refund, and re-order it. I re-ordered it and guess what happened the next time I tried to pick up the order? Same damn thing. They got the color wrong TWICE (different color this time). Again, I was told to decline the order, call for a refund, and re-order. This process sounded needlessly complex (for me, as the customer) but I would suspect that DT just doesn't give store employees that much discretion/power to deal with these issues. I spoke with a manager one of these times by the way and he didn't offer to intervene or try to make it right. He was nice enough and once again, I suspect that DT is just a garbage company that doesn't prioritize customer service (hence, neither do their employees). Anyway, two failures to deliver a simple order? I threw in the towel and went elsewhere. Ultimately, this location has friendly staff but they appear limited by the ineptitude and overall lack of emphasis on customer service that seems to define the company in general. I haven't been back here since this ordering snafu and have no desire to return. read more

Cute items, but long lines and disorganized aisles. Several aisles were full of unpacked boxes and you couldn't get through. Debit wasn't working on their machine, so you had to use credit. One lady ordered like 8 ballons in the line in front of me. Luckily they had a system where the store manager ha sled the balloon orders after the cashier rung up the balloons. It still took 20 minutes in line to buy just a few items. There was no self checkout at this store, but I have seen several Dollar Trees add them, which is a great idea for people who only have a few items. read more

Not boring (Duller Tree), they don't sell crack here (Dealer Tree), and you can't pick me up for sex here (Holla Tree). This is the Dollar Tree right next to our house and usually when Barbie wants to go to a dollar store this is the one that we head to. It's great. It's next to Salata and Marshall's and TJ Maxx. It has lots of household items for super cheap, like gloves and spray bottles. The cats like the cat wands and other cat toys from here. Their cashiers are always nice, even when they're busy. Whereas when Barbie is busy, she tells me to get the f*** away from her and if I don't listen, she literally, literally calls one of her other boyfriends or girlfriends (there are many to choose from) and complains about me. read more

Today, I stopped by the Family Dollar Store#07042 7600 Jensen Dr. Houston Texas 346-241-7897 on my way home from work. I stopped by to pick up some essential items. I purchased a bottle of Listerine with a dollar off coupon attached to the bottle. Once the item was scanned, I was informed that I could not use this coupon because it does not scan in the system. I requested the manager to help me with this issue, it was unsuccessful. I informed this manager to contact someone who could help me with getting this dollar off my purchase. He informed me he could contact his manager Martha 832-816-2788. She was contacted by phone, I noticed he acted as if he was afraid to call her because he was aware how rude and nasty she was. She mentioned to me by phone if it couldn't be scanned in the system, I couldn't use it and hang up the phone afterwards. I will never visit this location again because of poor customer service. Suggestions for Martha, she could use some re-training classes on Customer Service because she has forgotten. Thank you. read more

I was in search of contact paper at this dollar tree because I had stumbled upon some in another location. I came to this location at approximately 2:30 PM on a Sunday afternoon and let me tell you it was extremely crowded. It was crowded with people and with items which was not a good thing. This dollar tree is a small store and it seem like they were trying to stuff as much inventory as they possibly could. I don't think I will be returning to this location because I could not find what I was looking for, parking was a bit hard to find and the place was too crowded. read more

This new store is so much better than the bare shelves that once existed. The best part about this visit was Ms. Latoya. It's cool outside and she opened the door 4 minutes early to accommodate the few of us shivering outside. She was friendly and kind. Even Asked another associate to look in the back for additional product for me. What was most impressive though is that when a regular customer walked in, she greeted him by name. One of the smallest Dollar Tree stores I have visited. The aisle configuration doesn't seem to make sense to me. Plus having cosmetics hanging off the wall at the back of the store and placed up high is not a good idea. Prime example: there was a lady who made use of the illogical organization of the store and took a broom to knock down what she wanted to buy. Store is a little disorganized as well. I love this Dollar Tree! There's a huge parking lot, the staff here is always welcoming and readily available if you need help. I come here for lots of random things I need- like packs of bendy straws, scotch tape, trash bags, cleaning supplies, party supplies, pens, doggie poop bags and toys, cooking utensils- you name it they got it for $1!!!!! Affordable major holiday merchandise can be found here as well- my favorite is their Christmas merchandise! They have a large selection of holiday gift bags, wrapping paper, ribbons, tinsel, Santa hats, stockings, and gift boxes (I remember the days when stores would give you free gift boxes if you purchased clothes- well, those days are over so come here and get some- 2 boxes for $1)! I love Dollar Tree but this location is smaller compared to other ones that I've gone too. It is not as organized and seems very crammed but none the less they have things for $1. It was very busy the Saturday afternoon I came in to get some aluminum pans to bring food to a potluck party. There were a lot of folks there and parking was a little hard to find but I managed. The day I came in their A/C was broken because it was hot AF in there! I just recall fanning myself in line as I waited to get rung up. There was only one person on the register and he had to blow the balloons. I felt bad for the gentleman as he was doing his best to keep up with the patrons. We were civil and no one argued I think we all wanted to be as still as possible since it was so hot. If I didn't need the pan and would have gotten one before hand I don't think I would have visited this location. It may have been the 2nd time I was there but don't think I'll be back to shop for other stuff. read more

As a Dollar Tree fan there is just something disappointing about this place. It mainly just feels like it's lacking all the "good" or "awesome" stuff that I have grown to love from other Dollar Trees. Upon strolling through the store in as little as 5 minutes I walked out sad and empty. Normally I could spend hours just looking at all the "crap" for a buck that I don't need but would buy anyway because it's a buck...and I need it. This place just doesn't seem to have those items. I absolutely love this store! So many great bargains! I frequent dollar tree approximately 1-2 times a month to mainly get cleaning supplies! I buy my bleach, fabuloso (because its fabulous), dawn, bath soap, hand soap, and on the occasion mister plumber (since I have issues with my hair clogging my sinks)! If I need generic cards to attach to gifts I will come here as well. Everything is literally a dollar so even when I think I'm breaking the bank my total has never exceeded $20....EVER! I've never had an issue with customer service at this location. Parking every now and then can be a problem. It is located in a shopping center so depending on the time of year (holidays) it can be crazy! There is also a civic center across the street (whose parking is non-existent) so depending on the events being held (like voting polls) the parking will overflow near the cafe express and dollar tree. The store sometimes looks a bit chaotic like they are constantly unpacking stock. I will always come back because I love getting the most for my money! read more

If you're looking for a cheap-date idea, then the Dollar Tree is somewhere you might want to consider going to. I just came back from there to buy some handouts for an Easter egg hunt and came away with a lot of things that would be fun to play with in the park or on a picnic--bubbles, kites, nerf-material footballs, puzzles, dinosaurs(!), pinwheels. And, unlike some dollar stores that don't sell everything a dollar, everything is a dollar at the Dollar Tree. Other than kids toys, there's food, cleaning supplies, medicine (iffy?), and gift wrapping supplies. I think that's what most everyone else was buying there when I went there--gift bags and balloons. In sum, if you've got a dollar burning your pocket, you've got a lot to choose from at the Dollar Tree. Take a date there. Even if you don't find anything, you may enjoy the classic rock they blaze over the speakers. "American Woman" was playing when I was in there. read more

I do like this Dollar Tree and they have several, great selections of gift bags like 2 for $1 with embossed like velvet designs that looks like it's for a wedding. What is dissapointing is it's so small and don't offer that many great stuff....but you can still find pretty cool stuff just not as many options as a bigger store. The store is very organized, clean, and well-maintained. And I love that they have those tiny mylar balloons on a stick, along with their regular mylar balloons. I like to get kids stuff from here, some very cheap, stuffed animal toys for my dogs which can easily be destroyed by my 65 lb dogs, sponges, ziploc bags, and a small little dustpan and broom. Get cups and the funny cards here too! 2 for $1 for funny nice looking cards. They have hats for kids like fireman hats, they have decorative cups..yes a smaller store wouldn't prob have as much as a bigger store, but at least the stuff they do have they could have a little more of..or a more variety of the same stuff. I've been here several times and most likely will go back, it's in a pretty decent area after all, in a complex and street that has lots to offer, and near a post office! read more
