Placed an order on 26th January…read more Placed an order on 26th January, Viking direct decided to only send out part of my order, even though everything was marked as in stock on the website, no indication of back-order requirement. I understood that with Brexit, there might be a delay, their website indicates up to 72hours to receive goods instead of 24 hours. On the 8th of Feb still nothing, tracking numbers provided gave dates that kept changing each day. Got into contact with the "live chat", agent confirmed "back order items" are not in stock and no indication of when, couldn't confirm where the items already sent where, couldn't confirm why additional amounts were taken from my account (above the value of the items sent). I cancelled the order completely. Have the chat transcript and a case email to confirm same. 15th Feb, received a box dumped outside my home, so badly damaged that it was hard to tell it was from Viking, half the "item"s were missing and the rest so damaged they are useless. A ream of paper is now a solid block. Called them to find out why (a week after cancelling) this box had arrived and when the refund would be processed. Lass on the phone stated that the order had not been cancelled, but she would cancel it now. But in relation to the box, I would have to return it, fine, but she couldn't trigger the return. She stated I would have to call back in a couple of days and then she will have to trigger a return and I would receive an email confirming same. Called on 23rd of February to follow up. I received confirmation that the additional amount they deducted (taken without a matching Invoice) would be refunded, the customer agent has stated I should receive the funds within 14 working days, but its not guaranteed and I will have to call back on Monday to check. (his exact words were, "nothing in life is certain"). Received an email from the company on 01/03/2021. Responding to an email from near the start of the complaint, not the latest, nor had the individual actually read the complaint before responding. It is now past the 14 working days and still no refund has been credited. Day 34, after order was placed, without usable product from order or refund. So much for their 72hour delivery timeline. Avoid this company. It is not worth the stress or hassle dealing with them. The amount of money I would have "saved" by shopping with them I have now spent on phone calls.

Alas I found a perfect pair of scissors! They admittedly have a small amount of actual stationary, that seems like a bit of an after though. Their main focus is as the name suggests is on ink. They do a cool service that is good for the environment and your wallet. They refill your old ink cartridges with new ink. The sign on the front says that it cuts your ink costs in half. Doesn't sound too bad to me!

They stock Epson, Canon, HP, LexMark, Oki and Rimark brands, and also recycle and refill empty cartridges.

Hackett Reprographics serve as both a high quality stationery shop for all the needs of architects and designers and so forth, and also as high quality printing shop for architects and designers and so forth. They are on the pricier side but they are known for providing a quality service, which is often times a hard to come by. This is an Irish company that has grown to be the leading independent reprographics company in the UK and Ireland. I don't know if this excludes anywhere that doesn't have 'reprographics' in the title, if so it's probably not worth bragging about. This is a stationery shop for those who mean business, for those of you who laugh in the face of 80gsm paper and know why a Rotring pen is useful and would find doing the section drawing of a house child's play, which arguably it often is, kinda, but ...

They've got all the equipment I wish they had and for a small charge they let me use it. They provide photocopying services and printing. They also do all kinds of stationary work and printing, so if you want some stationary togo along with that make believe business, you can't go wrong.

I think it's nicer to give business to these independently-run, smaller stationers than the larger corporations. The store has the usual - office supplies, envelopes, diaries (they even have some cute mid-year diaries), paper and printing products. It's not the most exciting store in the world, but it fulfills its purpose.
