Terrible customer service. Incompetent employees took over 45 minutes to print a label for my package only to tell me they cannot send it at all. Waste of time- still made me pay for the box they had ripped open. No apologies, no concern for my inconvenience or time. Would not recommend. read more

Called to have them check and put an epson ecotank 2760 on hold and to check and see if it was in stock. He said there was two available, drove 15 minutes, get to store, they don't have it. System says they have two but they didn't get them delivered. Driving 15 minutes back, half hour wasted. read more

Straight up crooks! Bait and switch practices all over the store then if you can identify a product on sale it's never available. 3 reps in the JC store Saturday at 9:30 and each looked like I was inconveniencing him. I come here often for printing needs. My last visit/experience was pretty bad. Print was off, and I simply asked why that's so when it had only been a few weeks that I had the exact thing printed. Was told that it was my mistake with the file. I've done design work for a living for 20 years, I know 100% it wasn't because of my mistake. All this wouldn't have been bad except for her attitude from beginning to end. Don't know if she was having a bad day or not but when you're dealing with customers you need to keep your problems at home in check. I'll never be back here for printing needs. The rest of the store is still the same as my previous review. No changes for the better or worse so in a way that's a good thing. I'll still come back for other office needs, just not printing. read more

We came to buy a laptop and the worker didn't know anything about computers. He didn't offer any plans or other possible important things we may have needed . He maybe said two or three words to us . It took him like 20 minutes to get a manager to get the laptop from the back room . The manager didn't even talk to us as well. Don't come here if you need help in technology. It's a joke. read more

I have done a great deal of business with office depot on North Roan St . Johnson City, TN. Recent events have caused me to never want to buy a single item from them again. I have had several books printed of photos there. Yet the last time I had work done it was misrepresented and mid priced as what they can do and I have had done in past. They over charged me 60.00 and still I have to take it back missing 8 poses. I have sent emails , called and even the manager calls me a liar basically to my face so now I am documenting everything via email for proof. I am put on hold for over ten minutes every time I call . The manager told me yesterday she did not appreciate my business because I said it was stupid the way this has been handled and that I was not given basic customer satisfaction of a phone call to inform me of an extra fee of 40.00 to typeset which they never charged in past NEVER, so after I do get this fixed if it ever happens I plan to update corporate. I do not plan to ever use this or any other office depot for business or personal shopping ever again.If you use them make sure to get a signed contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have not been contacted to have corrections made . They definitely need better customer service skills and manger training ! read more

Perhaps buying online with the retailer is better but this storefront does not seem to have a large variety of options. It would be nice if JC had other office supply options as I have been to this location twice in the past month and they have not had anything close to what I was seeking (different items each time). But not having the items I am looking for wouldn't be such a huge deal if I felt like I had decent customer service, but the past two shopping experiences have been sub-par. The employees basically just point and tell you to go to an aside and fend for yourself even after asking for someone to actually assist you. I have been shopping at this location for at least 7 years and they have always been very customer focused in the past. It seems like the customer service environment has changed in the past year. Will I return? Possibly, but only if I can't buy the item online. I have always been happy with my experience in the past, but these last two experienced have actually prompted me to write this review and rate due to the lackluster customer service. read more
