The inability to purchase items off the website or from office Depot and have them delivered to store. I cannot use my home address and home Depot will not deliver to a PO Box. You can order stuff from store inventory to pick up, but not from company inventory to be delivered to store. This is something that you used to be able to do at good department stores 30 years ago. I'm not asking for the store to pay for it and hold and wait for pick up and payment I'm talking inlay for it and it gets shipped to the store. read more

If I could give less than a 1, I would. I went into Office Depot to mail off 3 packages and the customer service representative set me up to enter the address details on their computer. When I was done, I turned to him to have him help me with the other two. He was helping another customer, which was fine, but then he started helping everybody else in line and wouldn't even acknowledge me at that point. It ended up being another 20 minutes, and by that time I was tired of waiting for him to get around to me. I left at that point will all three packages. I'm super disappointed in the very poor customer service. I think the post office now has better service than they do. I'm going there from now on. read more

Refused to help me before closing hours. They just didn't want to work and were sitting around talking. It was ten minutes until closing, their hours were incorrectly posted, and they refused to print one item for me for my friends babies first birthday. Which one? Richland store a waste of retail space. Never anyone apparent there, never as in NEVER EVER have I been acknowledged, offered assistance, phooey on that place! The one in Kennewick, better. Especially crew in computer department. The rest of the folks are pretty casual with customer service. "I need some copies" ..."do it yourself over there." Seriously? Grand Re-Opening, balloons and flags! That is to say, they cut the floor size in half, threw down new carpet, moved out a lot of their electronics, and called it a "re-opening." The 'new' store is a lot more focused: a lot of the superfluous items have been moved out, leaving only office-related items. It's probably a good move, but it makes this location very specialized in the only thing it's good for: office stuff. There are still plenty of office chairs to try out, and they cover a good quarter of the store. A good office chair = a good life, so it's worth it to check them out. Other than that, I would much prefer Staples as an office supply store. It's just right down Columbia Center, with a more diverse selection. If you're not picky about brands, a department store like (heaven-forbid) Walmart will offer many of the same items for cheaper. And don't be confused by where the checkout line starts! Follow the signs, they'll lead you straight to the front door! read more

Eric in the printing department. He was so helpful and provides excellent customer service. He was very thorough and made my printing experience such a breeze. Although it was the most difficult printing I had to do because it was the funeral schedule for my father he was so professional and made sure it came out the best in glossy paper and color. read more

We forgot our power cords for our two laptops, so went to Office Depot- the guy that sold us the two made a mistake in regards the Dell laptop, so had to go back to OD to get the correct plug, so wasn't too happy about that! But, now we got the lappy's plugged in and charging its all ok. They should have done a better job though in making sure we had the correct plugs. (and yes, we did bring in both laptops, the plug for the Dell showed it was plugged in, but not charging- if we're gonna spend $50+ for a power cord we want it to be charging! read more
