First time at this restaurant where I ended up getting the Smashed burger with fries and their House Margarita. The smash burger was well made, tasty and comprised of two patties that equated to a 1/2 lb burger I believe? It came with sliced onions and good amount of sliced pickles where these little green gems add so much to the burger in both crunchy texture and taste. The fries were equally well made and crunchy and a nice complement to the burger. Overall a solid good tasing meal at a very reasonable cost versus the down state pricing I am use too. Relative to the Margarita, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the drink as it was being sold as a well drink that lowered my expectations a bit. It was quite good and served in a nicely salted mason jar which I love and at the very reasonable price of $7! That's a deal in my book all day long! The bar/restaurant itself has a dark inviting vibe too it where it defiantly feels more bar than restaurant which I always enjoy when I am on the lookout for a good bar burger. Staff was very friendly with prompt service and great follow up throughout the meal. I noted the comments on slower service on other reviews which may have been during the peak summer hours but in my visit here I saw none of that on a Monday eying at 5pm during Mid May timeframe. Overall if you are a fan of bars and bar food than this business will probably be right up your alley. Of note if you like Margarita's you should defiantly order one, or two or..... while here as the price is hard to beat especially at this quality ! read more

Food: In town for a wedding and stopped for a quick lunch. Pleasantly surprised by the great food! My burger and fries were great! My husband got a bowl of chili and boy was it big! My daughter got the chicken fingers and really liked them. Kids liked the kids menu mini tacos as well. Very generous portions! Service: Our server was very helpful and kept all our drinks full. Located near the Oscoda Beach Park, it's the easiest place to catch food and a drink. The food is good, but wait times can be exceptionally long. Be sure to ask about wait times. If they're running their buffet, it makes the wait times irrelevant unless they're having trouble replenishing the food trays. Pool table, dance floor. read more

After a long hike in the Huron NF, we were hungry and had a long drive ahead of us. My wife had a hankering for chicken fingers so I search for those "in our area" on Yelp and the Office came at the top of the list. With good reason. The fingers, and the fries in the basket, were crispy outside and tender in. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich was was satisfied with that as well. The meat was tender and juicy, though the cook had a very light hand with the potato chips that came on the side. The only real sour note here was the time we waited for our food. We were there in early afternoon, and few people were eating. It took pretty close to 30 minutes for our food to show up. Not sure I'd return at say, 7 PM on Friday. read more

We found this place via Yelp and it was open for lunch on a Monday-so it was a go! I also loved the irony of it being on Dwight street and being named Office lounge and grill! It's very dark upon entry and you seat yourself. We were greeted by our server, Theresa, who was very nice. She told us the specials and what they were out of up front so we knew what's what. The menu was fairly large and we were starving. I'm a sucker for a patty melt at a bar so that's what I went with. It was perfect! So many fries too! The bang bang chicken dinner was a huge portion and very tasty. The shrimp dinners were just okay. The star of our dinner was the spinach artichoke dip! Don't pass it up! DECENT FOOD WITH EXTREMELY RUDE WAITRESSES I'm not one to write a bad review but our experience was horrific. My husband and I along with another couple went for the fish dinner with the salad bar. Our friends had raved about their dinner their a week prior. We ordered our meals and when our friend got his baked Cod, there were 3 very small pieces. When the waitress came back to check on us 25 minutes later our friend nicely made a comment . He told the waitress when they were there a week ago, the 3 piece baked COD was heaping. He said he was surprised how small the pieces were. She rudely said all the fish comes the same. This is how it's always served and walked away. When she came back with the bill, his girlfriend said to the waitress that she was very rude and that's not a way to treat a customer. She replied we can't give you more portions just because you didn't like the size of the them And walked away. Then another waitress came to get our bill. Service was good but food was disappointing compared to 18 mos ago. The Pad Ped was almost 75% onions and 3 pea pods and rubbery chicken that may have been boiled too long. Had Pad Thai with pork and it was ok. Used to make great egg drop soup, now it seems to be 90% heavy chunks of Napa cabbage and very little egg and flavor was very diluted. We went up north during off season and found ourselves at this bar a couple of times. There aren't a lot of options in the area... so you can know that we wouldn't have gone here twice were there other options. First time trying the Friday fish fry and it was fantastic. I had the cod with fries, soup and salad bar. The best service I've had anywhere in a while, the Clam chowder was the best I've tasted anywhere and told the cook that.The fish was hot, great fries, nice salad fixings. This was my first and my last visit. They were pout of a lot of stuff, and it took forever to be able to just place the order. The service was anything but acceptable. We waited for over an hour for two sandwiches. Others had waited that long and had left. Supposedly, the kitchen staff was new as were the waitresses. While our waitress was new and not old enough to serve our beers, she was more attentive than the others, but, she has a lot to learn. Apparently the bartender controls the run of the show. We waited for 20 minutes for our check to be cashed out because he had to BS with the people sitting at the bar. On top of the crappy service time, the just OK food, definitely not worth the 90 minute wait, they charge a service charge if you want to use credit card to pay. Just visited and the service was great. Very clean place. I Had Chili bread bowl not soupy and very thick and tasty. Also the patty melt sandwich which had perfect grilled onions, and was not greasy. Dry to the touch and flavor was great. My wife had the nacho's and it was also very good with fresh toppings and creamy cheese. I highly recommend. The cook is great! read more

We stopped here for a quick lunch and were happy with what we got! For the area, I feel like the food came fast and was of good quality. Servers were friendly and it is a nice place for locals to come and drink. The chicken bacon wrap I got was good, however I found a strand of hair in it. It could have been mine, I'm not quite sure. My husband got the pizza burger and the fries were delicious - deep fried and crispy! It looks like they have an open mic Thursday and also have a setup for bands to play, which is cool. We started to sit at a high-top when a fellow at the adjacent table pointed out a water leak dripping from the HVAC ceiling vent. The water was falling directly on the table. He and his party were leaving so we sat at that table and told the waitress about the leak. Her response? "Oh, yeah....we know about that already." What eatery does this? The other annoying issue is the added cost to use a credit/debit card. 4%! I told the waitress to inform the owner that I wouldn't return because of that policy. Food was okay. Service was mediocre. First time in this part of town. The boyfriend and I were shopping across the street and saw a group leave from here. Saw decent ratings, decided to go in there to try it. Very underrated place! Service was very on top of their game, and everyone were very nice. We ordered a burger and pepperoni pizza. For lunch I ordered the bacon cheese burger. It had cheddar cheese and several pieces of crunchy bacon. Overall it was pretty much everything a burger should be. If I ever went back to that region and needed to lunch this place is where I would go. My date had the sliders app which I did not like because I do not like onions, and she did not like them because she is two and a half years old.
