CJ your customer service rep was SO EXTREMELY RUDE to my husband and I. She yelled at us ACROSS THE STORE because we had the audacity to HAVE AN APPOINTMENT to get a TSA pre check on a day she said wasn't allowed, even though they verified the appointment with a QR code. She had ZERO customer service skills and belittled us in the store. Highly recommend NOT COMING to this store if you want to be respected as a customer in any way. 11 days ago I purchased an office desk at the Office Max at 11012 Parkside Dr. After 10 days, I received a call from Office Max informing me they couldn't deliver to my street and my order was being cancelled. The claim was the street was too narrow for a delivery truck. I called back and asked for a supervisor. Steven B. was put on the phone. I explained the situation and told him what poor customer service I felt I was getting, having to wait 10 days to be told they couldn't deliver to my address. Steven checked with other store managers, they all said they'd never heard of such a thing. After checking with the store manager Steven informed me the store manager would deliver the furniture personally. The following afternoon he did just that! So OfficeMax has some work to do in servicing customers of the greater Knoxville area, but I feel like Steven B. and his boss did everything they could to make things right. Very helpful and friendly. They of course have everything you need for back to school/college office needs. They also have printers, computers, office furnishings and inviations you can make yourself with your printer. They have personal services also. Fax, printing needs etc. This place is not busy at all and its easy to get in and out. Very clean and has a very friendly staff. read more

Manager refused to price match claiming that they do not price match desktop computers. The OfficeMax website does have a list of items not covered and desktops are not on the list. They also in the past tried to charge restocking fees when a defective item was returned for refund. All of this is the personal work of the current manager. read more
